*The ninjas are working on the Titan Mech while Aspheera continues to break down the doors. Pixal gasps, the sound of another boom.*
"Revenge!" shouted Aspheera.
"Master Wu?" said Kai, looking over at Wu.
"That was the sound of hatred and anger, so much anger." said Wu.
Kai jumps down to join Wu. "We won't let her get you, Master."
"Yeah, she'll have to go through us first." said Cole.
"Affirmative." said Pixal.
Nya tries to reach the Pixal through the radio. "Pixal, come in. Pixal?"
Pixal pulls up the Nya on the screen. "Nya, where are you?"
"I'm with Zane, Nova and Lloyd. We have the second scroll. Repeat: We have the second scroll!" said Nya.
"Yeah!"
"Yes!"
Kai high-fives Cole. "About time."
"That is most welcome news." said Pixal.
"Nya, tell Lloyd to be careful with the scroll. It is very dangerous. The less he handles it, the better." said Wu.
"I understand. We'll be careful." said Nya.
Aspheera has another one of her cobras rams the doors.
"Wha—"
"What was that sound?" Nya asked.
"The structural integrity of the doors is failing. You have to hurry, Nya." said Pixal.
"Hold on, Pixal! We're coming!" Nya pushes the lever for the thrusters. Zane does the same.
"What is it?" Lloyd asked.
"We're running out of time. And Lloyd, Wu, said to be careful with that scroll. It's dangerous." said Nya.
"I'll be careful." Lloyd unravels the scroll, and Energy immediately rushes through him.
Nova glares over at Lloyd, and knew what was coming.
"Maybe you should wrap it up again, just to be safe—" said Nya.
Lloyd glares at Nya, but before he gets the chance to talk back. Nova quickly covers his mouth with her hand. "Wrap. It. Up." She told him coldly.
They both glare at each other as minutes passes them. "Put it down, hotshot, or I'll do it myself!" Nova growled at him, both eyes glowing purple.
Lloyd grunts, resisting the urge to put it down. He eventually wraps the scroll up again. "Sorry."
Nova let out a heavy sigh, leaning back in her seat. "You're lucky I stopped you, from talking back to Nya."
"Sooo, hotshot?" Lloyd questioned, raising an eyebrow with a smirk on his face.
Nova blushes, not having thought much about what she had called him. Since her focus was on the scroll. "I wish I could hide in the shadows right now." She turned her head, so he couldn't see her red face. "Get your mind out of the gutter, mossbrain and focus on the mission ahead."
"Okay, okay, so Nya how far are we?" Lloyd asked.
"Any minute now, so you two get ready." said Nya.
Nova glared over at the scroll, a little nervous that if she tried using it again. It might actually shatter her core, and it scared her. "Those fuckers better not throw it to me."
*They soon arrived to see the others having been captured.*
Three Pyro Vipers hiss at Wu and regretfully drops his staff. "Hmm." He gasps at the sight of Zane, arriving in his ShuriCopter.
Aspheera groans, she watches the Land Bounty rise up in its stand.
Lloyd pulls out the staff. "Aspheera!"
"The second scroll? Impossible!" said Aspheera shocked.
"I'm full of surprises!" Nya, Nova, Lloyd, and Zane jump down to confront Aspheera. Aspheera Spinjitzu first and Lloyd clashes with her. Aspheera slams her staff down on Lloyd and the staff flies out of his hand. "Gah! Unh!"
Jay leaps at the staff and Spinjitzu at Aspheera. "Ha-ah! Wha-haha!" They clash at each other and Aspheera slams into Jay. He splats onto the ground, while the staff flies through the air. "Eurh! Ah!"
"I got it! Huh!" Cole grabs the scroll in the air and charges at Aspheera. "Rargh! Ha-cha!" He leaps at Aspheera and brings the staff down on hers. "Huh! Ha!" They Spinjitzu at each other and Aspheera knocks him out. The staff flies towards Nova, much to her fear, as her eyes widened, without thinking, she panicked and kicked it towards Kai. The staff lands at Kai's feet. "Unh!" Kai picks it up and attempts to use it. Aspheera grins at the powerless Kai.
"Kai!" shouted Wu.
"Look out!" shouted Zane.
Aspheera spins at him. "Agh!"
Kai charges at her, but Aspheera easily knocks him out. He flies back into Wu, while the scroll lands and rolls to Zane's feet. "Agh! Unh." Aspheera then tries to banish Wu, but they leap away and the Titan Mech disappears. Pixal stares, astonished, at the empty space.
Zane runs towards Aspheera and leaps over two Pyro Vipers, with the staff in his hand. "Ah. Leave my friends alone!" He freezes two Pyro Vipers charging at him. "Unh. Ha! Ha! Unh!"
"Ahh!" Zane traps Aspheera in ice. The rest of the Pyro Vipers try to run away, but Zane encases them with ice. The ice spreads all along the entryway of the secret base.
"Holy cow!" said Cole.
"H-H-How'd you do that?" Jay asked.
"It's the power of the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Zane, give it to me." Zane hesitates to hand over the scroll. "Zane!" Zane walks over to Wu. Aspheera shifts her gaze to Zane and Wu and glares at them. Zane walks over to Wu and gets ready to hand him the staff. Aspheera breaks her hand, holding her staff, free.
"Watch out!" shouted Nova.
"Look out!" shouted Lloyd.
Zane gasps, he and Wu turn to see a banishment spell from Aspheera's staff cast towards Wu. Zane quickly pushes Wu out of the path and takes the blow. He disappears and Aspheera drops her staff in defeat.
"Oh, no!" Nya throws off her hood. "Zane!"
Cole throws off his hood and runs towards the spot where Zane disappeared. "Zane!"
"No!" Pixal pushes Nova and Lloyd aside and runs to the spot, bending over. "Zane." The rest of the ninjas throw off their hoods. Jay and Nya exchange looks and bow their heads. Pixal looks to Wu, who turns his head away in shame. "Zane."
"Did you know this would happen?" Lloyd asked, looking over at Nova. "You told me that we would win, but nothing about us losing Zane."
Nova felt everyone's eyes were now on her, as she took a step back. "... I...well, I..."
"You didn't even use the staff to fight Aspheera, when you could have easily caught it!" shouted Cole.
"You knew I didn't have my powers, and yet you kicked it towards me!" shouted Kai, walking towards her.
Nova's eyes widened in fear, while holding back the tears that were slowly forming in her eyes. She took a few more steps away when Kai, Jay and Cole were walking towards her.
"Looks like you've lost their trust.~" whispered the voice, that only she could hear but choose to ignore.
"What, you've got nothing to say? Well, that's new. Normally, you would always have something to say!" shouted Jay.
Nova looked over at Nya and Pixal, noticing the glares they were sending her. She looked towards the shadows. "Please work." She tried running to the shadows hoping to hide in them. But she felt a sharp pain in her chest, and the more she tried to force it, the sound of a crack could be heard.
"What was that sound?" Cole asked.
Nova held back a cry of pain, and went on to use the grappling hooks on her gloves. She took one last glance over at Lloyd with tears at the corner of her eyes. "Sorry." She whispered, before then slinging herself out of the room.
