Rain soon got back to his small dorm inside the sect. Looking around the messy room, he couldn't care less about it.
Now was the time to transform this seemingly trash of a body into something amazing.
Dragging out an enormous bath bowl from the toilet, Rain filled with boiling water.
"This is just literally cooking myself alive," Rain muttered staring at the water.
Without any further thinking, he picked up the bag of herbs he bought and dumped the entire content into the water.
Then picked up the small pouch containing the Herbs Ling brought to him.
Instantly, the room was filled with a medicinal aroma, the bath water color also changed while the herbs Rain poured into it started to float.
After waiting for a while, Rain began to scoop out the herbs into another bowl, leaving only the water whose color had now changed and was emitting a rich medicinal aroma.
"This should do," Rain muttered then undressed before jumping into the hot water.
A pain unlike before permeated through his body, his whole skin instantly became beet red. His muscles contracted painfully, but Rain's expression didn't change.
This was the least of pain he was going to feel regarding this cultivation. The hardest part was still yet to come.
Ignoring the pain, Rain closed his eyes and began to absorb the medicinal properties in the water.
At that moment, his body slowly began to transform, and the clogged meridians slowly became unclogged.
The body which was once unable to let Qi flow properly was now like a black hole, rapidly absorbing Qi.
At the same time, the water was slowly regaining its original color after which it became all clear once again.
Immediately the water became clear, Rain stopped cultivating and stepped out of the bath bowl.
Much to his surprise, he had broken through directly to the late Stage of the Qi Gathering Realm.
Shaking his head, Rain wore his robes and sat on his straw bed preparing to begin the hardest part of the transformation which was switching Cultivation Technique.
The first step was to clear the meridians with boiling water and he had done that.
Next was the second and the hardest step. That was to cripple his Dantian and reforge it.
After reforging it, then he would cripple and reforge it again. Then again and again.
He had to do this about nine times, after nine times, he would break through directly to the late Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm.
Also, his Dantain wouldn't be his weak point anymore and no one would be able to cripple his Cultivation again.
And even if they were able to shatter his Dantian, he could still reforge it to break into a higher level.
That was how terrifying the Cultivation technique was.
But it came with a catch. Crippling and reforging one's Dantian was no small issue.
The pain was something an ordinary human could endure. More or less if one didn't act quickly, they could turn into a cripple for life.
It was just like walking on a tightrope between life and death.
But for someone like Rain, the pain was something he would be able to endure. After all, he had endured a thousand-year torment in the abyss and only relied on his cultivation to live.
Taking in a deep breath, Rain raised his hands, gathering his Qi to the tip of his fingers, he jabbed at this abdomen.
"Splurt!"
Rain instantly coughed out blood the moment his fingers connected to his abdomen, the shattering of something more like glass could be heard, his expression becoming pale.
At this same time, a wave of pain over took his senses, and even for someone like Rain who had suffered a thousand years torture in the abyss, he still found this pain a bit unbearable.
His whole body was raking with pain, followed by numbness while he felt weak.
It was as though he was going to cross to the other side at any moment as the pain was just too much.
"Seems like I underestimated the pain," Rain muttered weakly, a flash of determination appeared in his eyes while he struggled to sit properly.
Recalling the guidance in the Cultivation technique, he closed his eyes and began to cultivate.
Soon, a warm stream of energy flowed into his limbs making the pain fade away slowly.
His body was like a black hole greedily absorbing the Qi in his surroundings. The once shattered Dantian was beginning to reform itself slowly.
Normally, there was no remedy to a shattered Dantain as it was impossible to repair.
But these defying Cultivation techniques went against that and required one to shatter their Dantian nine times before starting to cultivate.
Though this was to set up the foundation, at the same time, making it easy for the cultivator to repair his Dantian if ever shattered, it was still a ruthless move.
In a flash, it had been five hours since Rain began to cultivate. The Qi in the surroundings didn't stop getting pulled towards him.
His expression had become rosy at the moment and one could see the little smile arched at the corner of his lips.
After a while, Rain's eyes flashed open and he took a deep breath. Though this was merely the first time, he felt dread doing it for the second time.
If it were not for his strong willpower, he would have long collapsed unable to move.
"I need to get stronger," Rain muttered, determination etched on his face while he raised his fingers once again.
It was time to shatter his Dantian once again. Though the pain was unbearable, the gain was worth it.
He had to endure it no matter what was going to happen.
Taking a deep breath once again, Rain's Qi gathered at the tip of his fingers while he prepared to cripple his Cultivation once again.
Without wasting a breath, he jabbed at his Dantian, and the once familiar pain took over his senses once again.
