In Another World, I Rise to Erase Sin
> There was no wind. No warmth. No heartbeat.
The boy lay beneath the ancient tree, his small hands still clenched as if holding onto something he couldn't keep. The forest was quiet, eerily so, as if mourning the soul that had quietly slipped away. No one came. No one noticed. Just one fading breath… and silence.
Somewhere far beyond the veil of that world, in another realm where time and space unraveled, a man died alone.
His name was Alvain Reiger. He was not a hero. Not a warrior. Not even someone the world would remember. But he was kind. A healer. A man who had spent his life easing pain, even when his own heart bled silently.
When death came, he welcomed it not with fear, but with relief.
Yet, the void didn't take him.
Instead, a voice soft and eternal echoed in the dark.
> "Alvain Reiger. You, who carried burdens that were never yours. You, who healed others while no one healed you… Shall I give you another chance?"
A light began to form, not blinding, but comforting. And within it, a woman stood her eyes shining like galaxies.
> "This world… needs a soul like yours. But I won't send you back as you were. You shall rise in a body that fate has left behind… and in that life, you may find your own."
He didn't answer. He simply stepped forward.
And in that moment, the boy beneath the tree breathed again.
---
He woke up choking on air, vision blurred by tears that were not his. A child's body. Fragile. But inside it a man, broken yet whole.
> "What… is this…?"
Then, the voice returned. This time, within him.
> "Live, Kael Ardyn. This name belongs to you now. And with it, a path far greater than what you once knew."
In a world that forgot the child…
In a world that never knew the man…
A soul reborn shall carry the sins of both.
