But focused back on dad, Lancy Luci's little sister, was his princess, sick with cancer, she had just come back from the hospital a few weeks before the fire took her life, I stopped him because there was no way of reaching her room, but I saw it, I saw her trying to walk towards the door, I saw her shadow fall to the ground, tears ran down my face, neither of us would be able to get to her without dying trying to save her, mother was long gone, because she knew, she drugged herself, and my little brothers, then locked the door to their room….. I wasn't able to save them, we were barely able to save Alex, I tried but he was too sacred to move, so while trying to grab him a flamed blank of wood fell landing on my arm, giving me a scar from the back of my hand to my elbow, Luci dragged me away, but because of my begging, and crying, he went back inside, and dragged Alex out of his room, opening the door he carried me out, hot steam busted out, hitting him in the face, giving him a burn scar around his eye.
After years, Alex grew to become a hero, unknown to him Luci a villain, do I care? No it has nothing to do with me, all three of us has powers, Alex using his for good, Luci using his for necessary evil, you know doing the bad thing for a good reason, and me, I don't use my powers, and they don't know what my power is, and I have not told them either, I haven't seen Alex in some months, being a hero seems to take up most of his time, "Loreen?" his deep voice, just like most nights my back stayed turned away, my eyes closed, "Hello Luci" I greeted, every now and then, in the night when most of the world is asleep he'd come by, on the count that I keep my eyes closed, but I already know it's him, it was him who killed those men shown on the news last week, necessary evil, they all were forcing young girls into sex work, most of who were their own daughters, as young as middle schoolers.
I know it was him who broke into that man's house, necessary evil, he kidnapped his ex-wife, and his sister, he was beating on his ex-wife, and sexual assaulting his sister, resulting in her carrying his child, he was arrested , but later went missing, his ex-wife was the daughter of an ex-mob boss, and his step-sisters husband was a ex-villain with friends still in that world…..yes he called Luci. I could hear his footsteps getting closer as I stood there in front of the stove cooking, "It's always nice ... .these visits" I said, as he wrapped his arms around my waist, I stood there, not saying anything, just letting him relax in my presence, "How have you been?" he asked, "Busy….having some fun messing with dad" I said, he stayed silent, ever since that day, he's been asking a lot about my powers, because while dad didn't tell him what I could do, he did tell him I have more than one power, "Can I just know of one of them?..." he asked, "Luci…..." I said, "Please…." he begged,
I sighed, putting down my ladle, I took a deep breath, with my eyes still closed I spun around in his arms, now facing him I placed my hands on his chest, taking away the pain in his body, he froze, once I was done I laid my head on his shoulder, and in a whisper, "Please be more careful, your both getting strong, I can't stand watch the two of you fight" I begged, "What are you talking about?" he asked, I wrapped my arms around him, "I'm not dumb Lucus" I said, "I know it's you" I told him, he said nothing, but when he tried to pull away I held him tightly, and planted a kiss where I knew his scar was, "Stay safe, love you" Then I released him.
He backed away slowly, a small smile on my face as I felt him softly place a kiss on my forehead, "I promise" he whispered, before a gust of wind filled the room, I opened my eyes, seeing my window open, on the table a birthday cake, and some food from the bowels missing, I laughed seeing one of my plates also missing. Some moments later Alex showed up, "Hello my Lili" he greeted,"Hello Alexander" I said, I handed him a plate, ready for him to leave right after, "Did you ever go into fathers office?" he asked, I stopped walking, "...Sometimes yes" I said, "Did you know there was a child with more than one power he was working with?" he asked, I nodded, "He always took you and only you with him to that "Base" of his... .have you ever seen… that child?" he asked, I quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
"No he wouldn't allow me into that part of the "base"" I said, he nodded, "Thank you for the food, happy birthday" he said, I nodded, and after a while of silence he sat something on the table, but stared at the gift Luci gave me, "Lucus was here?" he asked, I shrugged, "I don't know if he dropped it off, it was just on my doorstep" I lied, he nodded, I could see as he used his x- sight to look inside, ".....victoria secret?" he asked, "....Lorelei?" he called, "Yes?" I said turning around, he stood there in his hero suit, his brown hair soaked in sweat his face covered with bruises, "I know you don't like that I am a hero…..but could you please speak to me like I'm your brother" he begged, I broke, he still had that baby face that melted me, that reminded me he was my brother....no matter what a DNA test says, "Close your eyes" I ordered like a puppy he did as I told, and just like Luci, I healed him too.
He smiled, nodded and turned to leave. In a flash he was gone, I crossed my arms shaking my head, "On different teams...…but still the same" I said as I looked at the table, another plate missing, and slices of food gone from the bowel.
DOES HE DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE? OR IS HE RETIRED, AND FLAMED?

He was trying again, for some reason, father, he said he thinks, Captain blade who is Alex, needs help catching Officer Corpse who is Luci, the thing is like I said before what Luci does is bad yes, but he's doing what the officers can't they can't kill a downright disgusting criminal it's up to a judge and you can't bet that they will be in prison long, money talks, the public likes Officer Corpse, and what he's doing, but he just doing it in a way that makes him a criminal, both Alex and Luci can get hurt yes, and they could die, but after using my powers it only takes a few hours for them to heal.
Ever since their last visit, I've seen them on the news fighting live, or worse I see them in person, but for the most part the second Luci sees me he leaves, backs off, Alex the same way, he'll stop fighting and rush to save people from getting hurt giving Luci time to leave, which is starting to make me wonder…..Does Alex know it's Lucas?.
