Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE {Slient Scripts}

Nattawat Kanchanakul known to the world as Pat was a name that echoed through every corner of the entertainment industry. As the star actor of DragonPlay TV and the heir to the media empire his grandfather had built, Pat had it all:-talent, fame, wealth, and a legacy waiting to be inherited. Yet, none of it meant anything to him.

Pat was a man carved from stone-sharp-tongued, cold-hearted, and ruthlessly private. Behind every breathtaking performance was a soul that had long stopped believing in people. He followed no one's rules, answered to no one's commands, and trusted even fewer. The walls he'd built around himself were impenetrable, and no one,not a fan, a colleague, or an assistant had ever come close to tearing them down.

In fact, assistants came and went like seasons. None lasted more than a month. Pat made sure of that.

Still, the company had no choice but to keep assigning new ones. He was the chairman's grandson, after all. Untouchable.

Then came Thanapong Rattanaboonmee known simply as Pong.

Pong was the very opposite of Pat. Warm-hearted, endlessly patient, and full of gentle humor, he had never dreamed of working in the entertainment industry. He ran a cozy café with his best friend, scraping by to support his family back in the countryside. Life had been unkind since he lost his father, but Pong had learned to find happiness in small things:-kindness, laughter, and quiet hope.

When the job offer to become Pat's assistant appeared complete with a generous salary bump due to the notorious difficulty Pong accepted without hesitation. He didn't have the luxury to be afraid of the rumors. He needed the money. Failure was not an option.

Pat, however, was determined to make him quit.

He treated Pong like every assistant before coldly, cruelly, with walls as high as ever. But Pong didn't budge. He smiled through the sharp words, handled each task with quiet resilience, and never once looked away.

Something began to shift.

Against his will, Pat found himself watching Pong more closely. The warmth he tried so hard to repel began to seep through the cracks. And before he realized it, Pong had become someone he could no longer ignore. Or push away.

But life was rarely as simple as a love story.

What bloomed between them came with thorns,doubts, secrets, expectations, and fears neither were prepared for. The path ahead was uncertain, and the spotlight that once defined Pat's world now threatened to expose more than either of them were ready to face.

Would they survive it?

Would love be enough?

Only time would tell.
