Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Chat Group Reveals & Gut-Punching Realizations

As the commander of the Great Wall Defense Force, he was, naturally, a powerful warrior with calm composure and commanding presence.

His life had always been fundamentally different from that of ordinary people.

Even when the others had immediately changed their tone and started calling Carl "Boss" after his resurrection feat, he hadn't.

But now, after hearing Tsunade's account

That Carl had pulled off a resurrection through something as mind-bending as time travel

He changed his tune on the spot.

He had to.

Because someone like Carl? Was not someone you could afford to offend.

After all, he himself couldn't bring the dead back to life.

Much less rewrite time itself.

Carl, having sensed he was being mentioned, entered the group chat.

In an instant, messages started flooding in.

Noticing Tsunade's message expressing concern for him, he politely replied:

GodAmongMen: Arrived. No need to worry.

Senju Princess: I'm glad you're safe, Carl-kun.

Heavenblade King: The boss has logged in!

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: Carl-senpai, your points just passed 100,000! You could buy all kinds of OP stuff now!

GodAmongMen: Most things in the shop aren't useful.

GodAmongMen: And the few things that are interesting? A hundred thousand isn't enough.

Buy stuff from the shop?

Domineering powers, ninjutsu, giant mechas, none of that really mattered.

If he ran into a real enemy, he could just beat them with a few punches.

And if an enemy could resist even him, then no shop item was going to help anyway.

Commander of the Wall Guard: ...

Senju Princess: As expected of Carl-kun. Amazing!

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: 666! (slang for "super cool")

Heavenblade King: If I had 100,000 points, I'd definitely buy the Mangekyo Sharingan!

Commander of the Wall Guard: Personally, I think Haki from the One Piece world is pretty solid. I'd go for Armament Haki if I had enough points.

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: If it were me, I'd just convert the points into money!

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: Wait... 1 point = 10,000 yen. So 100,000 points… that's insane. I'd never run out of money!

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: Maybe I'd just convert part of it and use the rest to buy an Iron Man suit. Hehehe, that'd be awesome, imagine an Iron Man suit suddenly flying out into the streets of an ordinary world.

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: I wonder what kind of face Rikka would make if she saw me inside that suit...

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: I can't wait to see it...

GodAmongMen: Wake up. You're not even asleep and you're already dreaming.

GodAmongMen: Daily check-ins only give single-digit points. You'd need to log in for over 10,000 days to hit that mark.

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: ...Ouch. That hurts, boss.

Heavenblade King: SadFace.jpg

Commander of the Wall Guard: Carl-senpai's right. Just checking in won't get you anywhere near 100,000. It's practically impossible.

The group suddenly fell silent.

Carl's words had hit home.

Just moments ago, everyone was fantasizing about what they'd buy if they had enough points.

Now? Reality came crashing down.

No one said anything for a long time.

Then finally,

Senju Princess: Um… sorry, but, who's Rikka?

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: My little sister. She's a classic Chunibyo, always imagining dark lords and deities lurking in the shadows.

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: Sorry, Carl-senpai! I didn't mean you. Just talking about people in my own world. @GodAmongMen

Even though she wasn't sure if Carl was truly a god, his username was "GodAmongMen"…

And based on Tsunade's description, Carl's actions were basically divine.

At least to her, an ordinary person, that's exactly how it seemed.

Worried about offending him, she quickly clarified her words.

Carl, reading her messages, instantly recognized who she was.

Rikka, that name came from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions.

Which meant the girl in the chat was none other than Toka Takanashi, Rikka's older sister.

An elegant, beautiful big sister and head chef at a fancy restaurant, whose cooking was top-tier.

GodAmongMen: I get it. Relax.

Senju Princess: Ohhh, so that's why your username is that! @WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister

Senju Princess: What a coincidence! I also have a younger brother, Nawaki. He's a brave and strong boy.

WhatDoIDoWithMyChunibyoSister: That's so nice to hear! My sister…

And just like that, Tsunade and Toka started chatting enthusiastically.

Later, Keisha joined in too.

From his side-screen view, Carl realized, this Keisha wasn't the Angel Queen he remembered.

She was just a teenage girl, probably not even in her twenties.

In fact, she was younger than Toka.

No wonder her personality seemed so different.

Turns out, she was still just a kid.

The three girls kept chatting, getting more and more comfortable with each other.

By the end, they were calling each other "sis" and swapping names like close friends.

Even though Carl had claimed earlier that he didn't need anything from the shop…

He still opened it up for a look.

After all, he had 100,000 points sitting there. Might as well browse.

But after a quick scan, he sighed.

Sure, he could afford a lot of the items, but most were useless to someone at his level.

Mangekyo Sharingan? Advanced Haki?

Even if he bought a transformation wand and turned into Ultraman Tiga, it wouldn't actually increase his power.

And he couldn't even afford that wand, it cost more than 100k points.

After a moment's thought, Carl spent a few hundred points on something simple:

A Superman suit.

Yes, that iconic red-and-blue costume.

Honestly, Carl didn't love the colors.

But it was all the shop had.

As for the rest of the points?

He'd hold onto them for now.

There were still items that piqued his interest, like the Infinity Stones, the Phoenix Force, or the Heart of the Universe.

Unfortunately, the strings of zeroes after those items gave him a headache.

The group chat gradually quieted down after the burst of energy.

Each world, after all, operated on its own clock.

Some were in daylight, others nighttime.

For Carl, when he'd gained the Silver Superman template in his own world, it had been the middle of the night.

But when he arrived in the Naruto world, it was already evening.

So the time flow was never the same across dimensions.

The chat members all had their own lives to live.

Carl went back to his shower.

Afterward, he poured himself a drink and went to bed.

In the Naruto World…

Inside a large house in Konoha, four people were gathered: Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Nawaki.

Orochimaru was calmly explaining what had happened earlier.

"That place really was a trap. With the way things were going, if Nawaki had rushed in, he probably wouldn't have made it out alive."

Jiraiya nodded, visibly shaken. "That was way too close. Thank goodness that guy showed up when he did…"

Only now did Nawaki realize,

That handsome stranger who had suddenly appeared…

Had actually saved his life.

Nawaki felt a wave of guilt.

He was a sunny, straightforward boy by nature.

When Carl had first grabbed him, Nawaki had assumed he was an enemy.

Who could've known… he had come to save him?
