Chapter 1 - Chapter Title: The Blood Begins

It all started in a city lit with both neon and sin. Martin, a 23-year-old college student, worked quietly at a local market. He handed over a customer's groceries with a polite smile. "Here is your order, ma'am," he said, before returning to his small apartment. Alone, staring out the window, Martin murmured, "Life is changing too fast. I feel... quiet."

At university, Martin blended in like a ghost. He was smart but withdrawn. One afternoon, while walking through campus, he saw a woman cross his path. His pace quickened. Without hesitation, he stabbed her. "Blood... it's art. My art," he whispered to her lifeless body.

The city was shaken. Detective Lauron, known for his obsession with psychological cases, was called in. "Could this really be vampirism?" he muttered as he examined the body. "Only a monster would do something this... elegant."

Later, Martin was seen sipping juice, gazing at the sky, utterly calm. Carmilla, a classmate, approached. "Have you seen Lisa?"

"I don't know," Martin replied coldly.

"Wanna get lunch together?"

"No thanks. This is my last year. I need to stay focused."

That night, in a graveyard, Martin witnessed a man named Jorsh burying a body. Instead of panicking, Martin grinned. "Need help?"

"You're not afraid?" Jorsh asked.

Martin smirked. "We're the same. But I need the blood. Help me collect it."

Detective Lauron visited a forensics expert, Forbes, who confirmed: "The victim's blood was drained. This isn't just murder. It's ritualistic."

Meanwhile, flashbacks revealed Martin's past. He kidnapped Lisa, drugged her, and drained her blood slowly, serving it in wine glasses. "Soon you'll be dead. Want to taste your blood before then?" he asked.

Lisa pleaded, "You're a monster."

He cut her tongue. "I said don't talk."

He ended her life and calmly walked away.

Martin confided in an old woman, Isla. "They all forgot about me. Cristina left. The old man tried to kill me. So I tricked him."

The flashback showed Martin faking his death using a drugged stranger. The old man believed he'd killed the vampire. Days later, Martin returned, smashed the old man's mouth with a mallet, crucified him, and set his body on fire.

"Am I a monster or just the product of betrayal?" he asked Isla.

Later, Martin learned Liam—who once killed a woman and stole money—was celebrating on a fishing boat. Martin disguised as a waiter and served him a drink.

"You killed a woman 15 years ago. She had a child."

Liam laughed drunkenly. "Yeah? So?"

"I was that child."

Martin killed him and drank his blood. Detective Lauron arrived too late, but finally saw Martin's face.

"You're... the same guy I questioned before."

Martin calmly said, "Yes. And no. Humans like me aren't evil. We're just born broken."

Jorsh ambushed Lauron, beating him until his skull cracked. Martin twisted his head 360 degrees, then killed Jorsh too. Later, in the hospital, Lauron—now paralyzed—saw Martin one last time, wearing a surgeon's mask.

"I came to say goodbye," Martin said. "Even monsters have manners."

He walked away. Lauron looked out the window, powerless.
