Rodin is a weapons dealer, bartender, and proprietor of the Gates of Hell. He's a renowned demon weaponsmith and responsible for creating the majority of Bayonetta's weapons during her adventures.
Rodin was formerly an angel in charge of creation and ruled a portion of Paradiso until he was exiled after fighting in an insurgency against them. After a time spent in Inferno, he disappeared from the dark realm and came to reside in the human world, starting up his bar.
Rodin offers insight into the metaphysical elements of the world, providing Bayonetta with weapons out of curiosity to see how his arms hold up in the hands of an Umbra Witch. In-game, the shop he runs at the Gates of Hell allows the player to obtain new weapons, items, accessories, techniques, and "treasures". And the man is wondering why the fuck is he in front of him.
On looking around he's seen a giant tornado and a red sky and importantly demons centipedes with human skulls knees their heads and black like hair around their bodies.
" are those scolopendra, that is so cool. What is happening!!! " He heard footsteps come towards him looking up he seen Rodin standing over him with a big Smile.
" welcome to inferno." Rodin said smoking his cigarette. " so tell me how you think you got done here." The man were shock buy this. But he thought for a second and a sad and depressed smile shows on him.
" well maybe because I lied a lot and I let my mother hurt a kid who needed help and more. I'm not a good person so I --- ouch!!!" The man with cut off by Rodin punch his head.
" wrong that's not why you're doing here and let's get the record straight. You lie a lot because your damn family can't admit they are wrong. You try your best to Helper that Kid but if someone saw your mother and father they instantly should know that they cannot watch a damn kid, not to mention your brother and sisters could easily watch the kid so your mother didn't have to go bat shit crazy."

" wait you can't send me to my hero academia without training. I don't know how To summon demon or use their weapons, not to mention the other 100 things I need to know how to use the power of a Umbra Witch." Cheshire said trying to Reason with Rodin, but then he remembered he's taking to Rodin.
"umber warlock, not a Umbra Witch. And after I put you in the new body it's going to be like breathing to you, and to course thanks to my system you can easily choose what demons to summon, like a game. Of course you have to do the dance and the chant, haha I'm talking too much. I'll let you figure the rest out." Rodin said smoking his cigarette.
Cheshire started mumbling his words, until he smacked himself. " I can't do that, that just be fucking cheating. I should Learn How to train my body to learn how to contain demons and remember the moves."
" If I just get a new boss and already know the moves and techniques it just-" Rodin Cut Cheshire off. " black or white hair. And Do You want it, short or long." Rodin ask Cheshire.
He side given up, and accepting it. " I do like bayonetta black hair. But I always like the white hair because it always make the summons more cooler. As for short or long, I not know. Do I still get my hair super long to summon my demon if it is short? "
Rodin give him a thumbs up. " ok. I choose short white hair Then. " Cheshire said accepting his fate. Rodin give him a nod, except the answer for Cheshire. " ok now. Which three inferno demons are you going to pick."
Cheshire put his hand on his chin and started to walk in a circle thinking of what three inferno demons to choose. There's many powerful ones but he has to think logically right now.
" all right, I choose. Hydra. Wartrain Gouon. And finally Scolopendra. I had other in mind but I think these demons have the most flexibility." Cheshire said.
" not bad, not bad at all. Now that's all done, it time for you to go on your way." Rodin said. " wait! That's it, what about my backstory who I am, and why I want to be a hero. Or my family and friends. Not to men-"
" calm your horses, I'm not forcing you to be a hero. You can do whatever you want and whatever you choose that system will give you a reward, as for your family and friends. You don't have none, except your badass uncle Rodin." Rodin said with a smile.
Cheshire felt like he got hit by a cement truck. It's Because that he doesn't have a family, It's Because that he doesn't have friends and It's Because that he can do whatever he wants and the system will still rewards him. No it's because Rodin just said that he is Cheshire uncle.
" uncle! Hold the hell up are you saying you're going to be my uncle in this world! " Cheshire said. Rodin just give him a wave, almost like it a big deal.
" we can talk some more on the other side." Rodin said smoking his cigarette snapping his fingers. Beneath Them a red circle with a black void, Cheshire sounds of demon in it. " other side!! You and me Are in hellllllllllllllllllll"
Cheshire and Rodin were pulled in to the portal. With long disgusting hands grabbing their arms and legs. Drag them inside. " what the f-" a hand grab his mouth, pulling his whole body down and Rodin was smoking his cigarette nit caring about the hands.
Subtly a realization came to Rodin. " Hold it, we forgot the most important thing." Rodin said. The hand stopped pulling them down and Cheshire look at him with a aisle eyebrow. " we have to give you an inferno partner. umber Witch and a new umber warlock should have a main partner."
Cheshire looks at Rodin realizing he's right. Bayonetta did have a main partner in all her adventures and that was madame butterfly, yes she has many other demons but she mostly use madame butterfly and Gomorrah.
Rodin was thinking of which inferno demons would be good partner, then he heard a muffled sound came from Cheshire. The hand that were on his mouth move and Cheshire can speak clearly. " how about alraune or the whisperer of dementia or whisperer of insanity, which one you want to call her." Cheshire said to Rodin.
Rodin looks at Cheshire with curiosity and intrigued." That's an interesting inferno to pick, why her?" Rodin ask Cheshire.
"Don't get me wrong, I do love madame butterfly and Gomorrah. But I think she will ba a great partner to have. With her abilities and strengths, not to mention she's a enemy to madame butterfly. I know how powerful madame butterfly is and if alraune got the balls to fight her. She must be strong in combat as well." Cheshire said to Rodin.
Cheshire knew how powerful alraune was out of any other inferno she be a perfect partner to have in my hero academia. Her poison, her vines and her strength she be great there.
Rodin give him a nod. " ok congratulations you got yourself a inferno demon partner. Now that's done." Rodin said smoking his cigarette and the hands started pulling them down again.
After they were pulled into the portal it closes behind them and Cheshire journey begins.
