Chapter 1 - Just A Boy Named John

Ten years ago, in a modest hospital on the outskirts of the city.

In a small room, several people had gathered, assisting a woman who was screaming in pain during childbirth.

"Push, push!"

The woman cried out loudly, the pain of labor overwhelming her.

After several minutes, the doctors finally held a small baby who had just entered the world, observing him carefully.

The baby let out a loud cry, breathing his first breath in this life.

"He's a healthy boy. Congratulations!"

The doctor gently handed the baby, wrapped in a towel, to the exhausted woman.

She held him carefully in her arms, gazing down at the child with a wide smile on her face.

"John. Your name is John."

And that was the day John was born.

It was an ordinary day like any other—

But it marked the beginning of a life that would someday change the world.

John lived a normal life like any other child.

At the age of one, he began to walk, step by step, and spoke his first words, bringing joy to his family.

When he turned two, his mother gave birth to another baby boy, making John an older brother.

He loved his little brother dearly, often taking care of him and playing with him every chance he got.

At age three, his speech improved significantly, and he began forming full sentences.

By the time he was four, he was enrolled in kindergarten and started meeting other children his age.

He was very scared that day, left alone without his family, and cried a lot.

But after some time, he began to love the place and formed several friendships.

At five, he began learning how to write and draw for the first time.

That day, he brought home a drawing to show his mother.

"Is this a lion?"

"Yes! But I made it green because I thought it would be funny."

"Hahaha! Well, you did make me laugh."

She patted his head and laughed just as he had hoped, bringing a wide smile to his face.

When he turned six, their family welcomed another baby—this time, a girl.

John cared for her tenderly and made sure to always be by her side.

Whenever she cried, he was the first to rush to her and soothe her.

When she was hungry, he would carry her and feed her milk.

He even let her sleep next to him so he could take care of her if she woke up at night.

He was so focused on her that he often felt bored at kindergarten and counted the minutes until he could go home to see his baby sister.

By the age of seven, the family welcomed another baby girl.

Because of the increasing number of children, the household situation began to worsen, and John's father had to work late to support the growing family.

At that time, John started attending primary school, beginning his journey in formal education.

At eight years old, things improved significantly when his father opened a business, and the family became more financially comfortable.

Thanks to that, their mother gave birth to yet another baby girl, raising the number of family members to seven.

Two boys and three girls.

The house was always filled with noise and chaos, but it was warm, loving, and full of life.

And so, things continued this way until John turned ten years old.

One day, while he sat at the dining table watching his mother in the kitchen—

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck his stomach, causing him to clutch it tightly and groan in pain.

"Ahh! My stomach really hurts, Mom!"

His mother rushed out of the kitchen, worry etched all over her face as she heard his cries.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? What happened?"

She examined him anxiously, watching his pained expression.

"My stomach hurts a lot…"

John struggled to speak through the pain as he held his abdomen.

His father appeared from the hallway and quickly joined them, kneeling beside John with concern.

"Let's take him to the hospital."

His mother nodded, grabbed her coat, and they all got in the car, heading straight for the hospital.

During the drive, she kept glancing at him anxiously while he writhed in discomfort.

At last, they arrived and rushed John inside.

"Doctor, my son has severe stomach pain. Please, check him right away!"

John was placed on a hospital bed, and several doctors began examining him.

"His temperature is normal."

"His pulse is slightly low."

"Blood pressure and sugar levels are fine."

The doctors ran several checks but couldn't identify the cause of the pain.

"His condition isn't clear. We'll need to run additional tests."

"Doctor, does my son have a disease?"

John's mother asked with trembling concern as she looked at her son lying on the bed.

"We're not certain yet, ma'am. But we'll know more after the tests."

She nodded and sat beside John, holding his hand.

"Mom… am I going to die?"

"Don't say such silly things, my dear. You'll be perfectly fine."

She gently stroked his head to comfort him, though the worry in her eyes was unmistakable.

Hours passed as they conducted numerous tests. Finally, the doctors stood together, reviewing the results.

"This is extremely strange."

"Yes, I've never seen anything like it before."

"We need a pathologist to handle this case."

The doctors nodded and began making calls to a specialist in such matters.

A while later, an older doctor arrived, wisdom clearly visible in his eyes after many years of experience.

He stood silently, reading through the reports for a long time before glancing over at John with sympathy.

"Doctor, what is it? What's wrong with my son?"

"Well… may I speak with you in private?"

John's parents exchanged a glance, nodded, and stepped out of the room with the doctor.

Through the glass window, John could still see them standing and talking with the doctor.

As the doctor spoke, their expressions began to change.

From worry… to shock… and then to despair.

John watched all of it in silence, unaware of what was being said.

That day marked the beginning of a completely new life for John—

One filled with events he could never have imagined.
