Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Secret Identity

In the secret base of henry... Well, technically, in a room inside the house of Laneso County's owner, a large laugh is being heard that even the maid is fed up with.

In one of the rooms of the house, you can see a bearded dwarf, wearing a leather apron, heavy-duty work pants, and large green glasses on his curly brown hair, laughing hard while drinking Mush Wine (a certified dwarf drink delicacy made from mushrooms).

Henry is seen feeling embarrassed, curling up on his bed while covering his face with his two hands.

Henry being fed up with the dwarf's laugh, he said.

Henry: Will you shut up! (shouted out loud while feeling embarrassed).

The dwarf, seeing this, made a smirk face and carefully said the word "you tripped."

When the dwarf was making fun of Henry, a maid of the Labeso House knocked. The maid gave a short bow. She told the young master that his clothes were ready and that dinner had been served. Her words were only slightly polite and cold.

When the maid had gone out of the room, the dwarf said to Henry.

Dwarf: Jeezz, ten years since I knew you, and I still can't believe how they treat you here.

The atmosphere suddenly changed just because of an ordinary maid.

Henry replied to the dwarf, "What do you expect, Gobber? I'm a BornLoser," while going out of the door to eat.

While walking down the stairs, with his hand in his pocket, he watched in silence while the maids and guards whispered to each other.

Henry is used to this and didn't care about it.

Henry is the son of Baron Billy Jonathan Labeso (Sword Fanatic), that pretty much explains how he was able to gather material for his wannabe hero attire.

Henry Loz Labeso (The BornLoser) is the third son of Baron Billy, a child born without mana, having no talent for swordsmanship, hated by the spirit, and hated by his family.

The only black hair in the family and the only worthless part of the family lineage.

Henry seated himself at the far part of the dinner table, while 3 other people were already sitting and eating their dinner.

The 3 spit an image befitting a noble man... Well, technically they should be, but...one of them is eating a huge chunk of meat with his bare hands, the second keeps analyzing an artifact instead of eating.

Author: That's technically eating while using your phone.

Novel: Who the f*ck are you?

Author: No one, keep going.

Umm...the last one is feeding his dinner to a spirit fire dragon.

Henry quietly consumes his dinner with a spoon.

The one eating the meat was the firstborn, Fernando "Fern" Labeso, the heir to the Labeso County known as the BraveMan. A huge guy with a face befitting a man who likes to fight, having a scar on his left eye and brownish hair, he resembles a huge grizzly bear when you look at him, a man with a noble goal: "Torture the beast, kill the strong."

The second-born is the one analyzing the artifact, Joshua Alexandro Labeso, a prodigy in magic. While he is not a swordsman like his brother and father, he is skilled in both theoretical and practical magic. He may look like a nerd because of the glasses he wears; he is beloved by the women and maybe men... Well, he is handsome and has a body befitting a genius in magic.

The one feeding the spirit is the youngest, a boy beloved by the spirit, Jake Raini Labeso. The day of his birth, countless spirits appear. The boy has the purest mana and purest heart that they have ever seen. A cute little guy who likes his hair messy, always wearing a yellow cape and a bag full of spirit.

Lastly, our wannabe hero Henry Loz Labeso (BornLoser), a man... yeah, just a man. Well, technically, he liked to invent stuff to compensate, I guess. Oh yeah, he liked to read books also since he was a child.

Author: That is just sad.

Novel: Yeah.

Henry finishes eating his food without saying anything, no eye contact, not even just a hello or wave of a hand. He stands up and walks out of the room. Suddenly his father appears, He stopped at the doorway, standing still while the light shone on him, as the rest of the hallway stayed dark.

All of the maids and guards look at him with awe, but deep down, Henry knows they are all laughing at him.

Henry looked like he was frowning, but he just smiled and said, "Ahh, I feel refreshed."

Henry just walked away; he went back to his room, sat on his workbench, and started creating one of his devices, a Shrambinder, a magnetic mushroom grenade made from Red-Man Puffball, a mushroom with a white stalk, an angry face on his cap, and a white circular tip. Once it is pressed down, Red-Man will glow and explode.

He assembles the Shrambinder. First, he puts the red man on the body of the grenade, a magnetic cylinder-shaped body. He then puts on top the trigger device, which uses a spring mechanism with a 5-second delay, a lever to activate and deactivate it, and lastly, a pin to keep it all in place.

Gobber sees this and says to Henry, "What are you going to do, explode your family with that?"

Henry: Naahh, I already tried that. I just like to go to my safe place.

Henry is saying this, even though his workbench is a ticking time bomb, full of explosives.

But Henry is right, it wouldn't work; his oldest brother will just deflect the grenade with his own body, the second will just use defense magic, or the youngest will use his spirit as a meat shield.

Gobber, seeing Henry feeling down, can't tolerate it, as Henry is his friend—well, technically his master for 40 years. He said to Henry, "Chill up, Henry. Want to drink some wine?" (feeling unsure of what he said).

Henry heard Gobber offer, and he chugged the mush wine down to his throat.

Gobber: Oy! Don't drink it in one go. (Surprised and slightly annoyed)
