Β π Chapter 6
Let's go back to the backstory β the introduction of the world.
The world before Aeren's awakening. The world before the shadows returned.
It was the year 2014 when everything changed.
One day, the sky simply... broke.
A giant space crack opened above the northern regions β silent, glowing like shattered glass suspended in midair. At first, scientists called it an anomaly. The news called it a hoax.
They were wrong.
From that crack came the beginning of a new era β a storm of monsters, pouring into the world like a curse released from some ancient prison.
These weren't beasts of muscle and fur.
These were nightmares made real β some too large to be seen entirely, others small enough to hide in shadows and whispers. Some fed on flesh. Others fed on fear.
They moved fast.
They spread faster.
And humanity... fell faster than anyone could imagine.
Tanks melted.
Bullets bounced.
Nuclear weapons were useless.
By the time the world realized this was no ordinary invasion, 80% of the earth had been claimed by these creatures.
Humans fled to floating cities, underground fortresses, and walled-in sanctuaries. Civilization didn't die β it retreated.
Just as hope began to vanish, a miracle β or perhaps something older β began to stir.
Within a few humans, something awoke.
Powers. Forces. Energies that defied science and shattered the laws of nature.
These individuals could burn metal with their touch, freeze time with emotion, summon shadows, read minds β and more.
They were called:
Seekers
Not trained. Not chosen.
But awakened β by will, trauma, or blood.
To maintain balance, a ranking system was created to classify their powers:
π‘οΈ Seeker Ranks:
πͺ΅ Wood β Weakest, basic control.πͺ¨ Stone β Stable but limited.βοΈ Iron β First usable in battle.π₯ Bronze β Trusted fighters.π₯ Silver β Specialized and sharp.π₯ Gold β Leaders with rare abilities.π Diamond β Powerful enough to level cities.π Platinum β Legendary. World-protectors.
Each rank split into Lower, Middle, and Upper Tiers.
But monsters grew too β more organized, more savage.
They, too, had a ranking.
πΉ Monster Levels:
Levels 1β3: Low tier β dangerous, but common.Levels 4β6: Medium tier β deadly, strategic.Levels 7β10: High tier β could wipe out cities.
And then came the whisper of a final rank:
Level 11 β the only one ever recorded in ancient times,
so powerful it nearly destroyed the entire world.
Its name? Erased from history.
Even speaking it is considered a curse.
Among all Seekers, a few were... different.
They didn't just awaken powers.
They carried them in their blood.
Their ancestors β forgotten warriors of lost eras β had passed down sleeping power through generations. And now, these Bloodline Awakeners were beginning to stir again.
These individuals didn't need to learn their abilities.
They simply remembered them.
They were rarer, faster, and more terrifying than even Gold-ranked Seekers.
π©Έ Bloodline Levels:
Basic Lineage β Slight enhancements, instincts.Normal Lineage β Controlled abilities, long-term endurance.Rare Lineage β Hybrid powers, strange mutations.Legendary Lineage β Can command nature, bend dimensions.Mythical Lineage β Said to defy death, rewrite fate, and return from the void itself.
Only seven Mythical Bloodlines were ever known.
Now, all were considered lost β except one.
And it now stirs inside... Aeren.
π Back to the Present...
Aeren sat silently at the breakfast table, holding a spoon in one hand, lost in thought.
His mother was humming while flipping pancakes.
Outside, it was a normal day.
But Aeren's mind was echoing the dream β the Faceless, the pulse, the strange feeling inside his veins.
He didn't know what it meant yet.
He only knew... something inside him had changed.
"What was that?" he whispered to himself.
He didn't know he had a Mythical Bloodline.
He didn't know he would become a Seeker.
He didn't know he would soon face a Level 11 horror.
But deep inside, the Crosnic Verse had chosen him.
And it never chose without reason.
