Nightfall.
With the guidance of enthusiastic attendants, guests soaked in the hot springs, enjoyed foot massages, and experienced high-end services they'd never imagined before.
After a full round of pampering, the guests lay slumped in plush, soft sofas, their bodies gleaming as if freshly polished—completely satisfied in both body and soul.
"I feel like… I've ascended…"
"Same here…"
"This place is paradise."
"Tenshō Onsen… truly lives up to its name!"
Though pricey, every guest felt the experience was well worth it—perhaps even more luxurious than anything Shōgun Orochi himself had ever known.
Compared to this, the other onsen were trash. Even the biggest entertainment districts in the Flower Capital paled in comparison.
They were utterly in love with this place.
Just as the guests were preparing to head home—or stay the night—Tenshō Onsen had one more surprise for them.
Rogan entered the lounge.
"Honored guests, we have prepared a very special performance for you tonight. Please, allow us to escort you to the rooftop."
"A performance?"
The guests looked at each other in confusion.
They were the elite—normally, they'd have no interest in shows. But today had been full of surprises, so their curiosity was piqued.
Moments later, everyone gathered on the wide rooftop, which offered a full view of the surroundings.
But the sky was already dark, and there wasn't much scenery to enjoy. Guests began to wonder what this "show" really was.
"Please be patient. The performance will begin shortly."
Rogan's gaze shifted toward the darkness beyond.
Benefits come with risks.
Not all pirates are fools. Rogan knew well that milking Kaidou's name in such a flashy way meant he needed to show results. Otherwise, even if Kaidou didn't care, the officers would rip him apart.
Especially King.
Not only had he supported the opening with 1,000 gold, but that might've also been a veiled threat.
"I'm watching you, kid."
—
On Onigashima, in the banquet hall.
Kaidou and the three Calamities sat together, watching everything unfold via a surveillance Den Den Mushi focused on the onsen.
King's eyes were icy cold.
He already knew Rogan was the mastermind behind the entire spa project.
If it was for Yamato's sake, fine—anything to change her attitude was worth it. But if Rogan was only exploiting Yamato and their faction to scam money—
There would be hell to pay.
"Muahaha, this brat's got guts!"
Queen watched with amusement.
It had been a while since he saw such an entertaining rookie. Not even a real Tobi Roppō, and yet he'd dared to fleece everyone in the Beasts Pirates.
Calling it bold was an understatement.
He'd given a tribute too—but unlike cautious King, he wanted to see how far Rogan could take this and how much fun it would be.
"Oh? It's starting!"
They saw it clearly: giant spotlights lit up the southern field beyond the onsen, illuminating it like daylight.
And within that field—
A huge army of samurai had gathered.
Kozuki loyalists!
"Muahaha, now this kid's interesting!" Queen's eyes gleamed.
As a top-tier scientist, he wasn't dumb—he quickly figured out Rogan's plan.
This was an open trap.
King's expression also shifted—there was a flicker of approval in his eyes.
Using Yamato's identity to lure out the Kozuki remnants, while also collecting mountains of cash—Rogan was delivering results.
Most likely, this had been in motion since Yamato was imprisoned.
Not only did this kid have ambition and courage, he also had the brains to match.
Still… not enough yet.
King's eyes held growing anticipation.
—
Back at the spa rooftop.
"It's the Kozuki samurai!"
The crowd gasped in shock. Some were even terrified enough to try to flee.
As the wealthiest in the country, they owed everything to Orochi. They were mortal enemies of the Kozuki clan—and many of them had betrayed Kozuki in the past.
Now, seeing so many armed samurai? Of course they were afraid.
"No need to worry. This is just a special performance."
Rogan grinned and reassured the crowd. Then he ripped off his dress robes, revealing a torso packed with muscle and a massive sword in hand.
"The stage is set, the actors are ready—now, let the show begin!"
And with that, Rogan leapt from the ten-meter rooftop like a cannonball, smashing into the earth below.
"BOOM!"
The ground shattered, dust filled the air.
And then, out from the smoke, Rogan emerged—sword on his shoulder—standing alone before hundreds of samurai.
The crowd upstairs leapt to their feet, stunned.
No one had expected this flamboyant host to be so fierce—he was going to take on the Kozuki warriors alone!?
"My blood's boiling!"
Rogan's eyes glowed red as he gripped his massive sword.
The desire to kill surged in his veins.
"Come, samurai!"
"..."
The warriors immediately understood—
"It's a trap!"
There was a stir among them, but it quickly settled.
They'd already planned to die storming Onigashima for Kozuki. Now, with Kaidou's daughter here, they had a better chance to strike a decisive blow.
Trap or not, it didn't matter.
They had no time or energy to second-guess.
If they missed tonight, Yamato would return to Onigashima—and they'd never get another chance to wound Kaidou's heart.
The final battle… is now!
"Kill this pirate!"
"Even if we all die—we must take down Kaidou's daughter!"
"Let Kaidou feel Kozuki's wrath!"
Fueled by determination, the samurai let out a battle cry and charged at Rogan.
"Good!"
Rogan roared, lifting his massive two-meter sword, muscles swelling and veins bulging, and swung with all his might!
"BOOM!!"
The earth trembled violently.
A huge fissure split from the impact point, ripping toward the samurai like a jagged scar.
In an instant, the battlefield looked like it had been struck by an earthquake.
"AAAHHH! HELP!"
Dozens of samurai fell into the chasm, while the others staggered, overwhelmed with fear.
No one had expected a pirate to cleave the earth itself—in the chaos, they were struck down with ease.
And that… was only the beginning.
Rogan's eyes went wide with fury. His strength poured through his sword into the ground.
The earth shook again.
The samurai crouched, staring at pebbles dancing across the cracked ground beneath them.
Something was coming.
"Sword of the Cliffs!!"
With Rogan's roar, blade-like stone pillars burst from the ground, impaling samurai and launching their bodies into the air!
"AAAAAHHH!!"
Screams echoed across the battlefield.
And still… it wasn't over.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!"
More stone spikes erupted, nearly covering the entire field.
The Kozuki loyalists were plunged into despair.
When the dust settled, dozens of sharp stone pillars stood like grim monuments, each impaled with a fallen samurai.
It was hell on earth.
