"OW OW OW!!"
Yamato clutched her bleeding butt in agony, rolling back and forth as fat teardrops flew from her eyes.
It hurt—worse than getting smacked by her old man's kanabō!
Her hands were wet and sticky.
Uwaaah~~ I'm bleeding!!
"Wha—!"
A shadow loomed over her.
Yamato looked up in panic. A massive black shape was falling from the sky!
It was Rogan!
The man's muscular arms were bent triangle-tight, and his stone-like elbow was pointed directly at her!
Yamato's pupils shrank sharply.
Wait—if that hits me, I'm definitely—
"Megaton Elbow!!"
The elbow slammed into her stomach!
POOF!
Yamato's eyes bulged wide. Her waist was crushed into the earth while both ends of her body pointed toward the sky, forming a perfect V.
She was… losing consciousness.
Dazed, her body was suddenly grabbed and spun violently.
"Spinning Top – Giant Windmill!!"
Rogan grabbed her ankles and began rotating at high speed on the spot. When the centrifugal force peaked, he suddenly released her.
SWOOSH!
Like a cannonball, the girl was hurled toward a cliff wall.
BOOOOM!!!
The cliff face shattered into pieces. Stones rained down like hail, engulfing Yamato in dust and debris.
Any sane person would've stayed far back after witnessing that.
But not Rogan. He charged straight into the falling rocks, risking it all.
In under three seconds, Rogan burst from the cloud dragging a limp Yamato behind him—and began sprinting straight up the cliff face.
Wind roared past her ears.
"…Wind?"
Yamato's eyes fluttered open. Everything was upside down. The ground was far, far below.
It didn't take her long to realize the truth:
She was flying upward!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!
At nearly 100 meters high, Rogan flung her skyward with all his strength, then launched after her, locking his arms around her upside-down body.
Together, they began to spin.
They plummeted back to earth like a comet!
"WAAAAAHHH—SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!"
Yamato realized what was happening and struggled in terror. But her weakened body couldn't break Rogan's iron grip.
"Finisher – Spiral Piledriver!!!"
The two, locked together, slammed into the ground like a meteorite.
BOOOOOM!!!
The earth erupted and smoke swept across the back mountain like a tsunami.
The watching pirates stood dumbfounded.
This guy… is insane!!
As the dust cleared…
Rogan stood tall in the crater's center. Not far from him, Yamato was stuck headfirst into the ground, her long legs poking straight into the air.
Like a turnip.
Plop!
Her legs wobbled, then flopped lifelessly to the side.
K.O.!!
"A real man always goes for the wrestling moves!"
Rogan was thrilled.
Compared to swordplay, his body was far better suited for close-quarters combat—especially grapples and throws.
Now it was time to bask in victory.
Rogan raised his arms and struck a champion's pose, parading in circles around Yamato's limp body, expecting cheers from the crowd.
Instead…
Silence.
"Huh?!"
Rogan frowned.
What's with the lack of applause?
Tch. Bunch of tasteless idiots.
He glanced around.
The pirates all took three steps back. Their expressions were full of shock and fear—as if staring at the devil himself.
"He really used a combo like that… on a girl?!"
"He even hit her in the butt!!"
"Is this guy some kind of demon?!"
Murmurs echoed through the crowd.
The female pirates in particular looked at Rogan with terror.
Then someone started it—and all the pirates began booing him with exaggerated pouts, pointing their thumbs to the ground.
Even his own allies joined in the loud jeering.
"DEMON! DEMON! DEMON!!"
"SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU!!!"
Rogan roared, face dark.
Yamato had monster-level durability. If he hadn't gone all out, she never would've stayed down. Honestly, he should be thanking Kaidou for shaving off 99% of her HP beforehand—and Uruti and the others for softening her up.
Otherwise, his attacks would've barely been a warm-up for her.
And besides—mercy to your enemy is cruelty to yourself.
Especially in a world where everyone had cheat-level physiques. The only real strategy… was overkill.
What if she just did a zombie sit-up and got back up?
In five more years, the Beasts Pirates would get steamrolled by her!
"Hmph!"
Rogan snorted, hoisted Yamato over his shoulder, and strode toward the Skull Dome.
The crowd parted silently to let him through.
They booed, sure—but none dared block his path. In the brutal world of the Beasts Pirates, strength was the only rule.
Even the other Shinuchi didn't interfere.
Rogan had earned their respect. Not to mention, with Uruti as his backer, he wasn't someone to mess with casually.
"Wait for us, Rogan-nii!"
The fan club ran after him, carrying Uruti and Page One. Their eyes sparkled with awe and admiration.
In their memory, Rogan-nii was always strong—but never this strong.
He was definitely Shinuchi material now!
"Rogan-nii, you've gotten stronger, huh?"
"Of course I have!"
Rogan grinned.
In just two and a half months since transmigrating, his physique had nearly doubled in power. He'd finally reached the baseline for a Shinuchi.
And the reason was simple.
After transmigrating, something else came with him—a tenant living inside his body.
A baby Pokémon wrapped in red armor.
Its name—Groudon.
Yes—that Groudon. The one that constantly fights with Kyogre, then gets beaten up by Rayquaza. The only legendary who can't fly.
Right now, Rogan was basically Groudon's jinchūriki.
You could also say he'd eaten the Zoan: Mythical Model—Groudon.
But unlike normal Zoan users, he didn't suffer from sea water or seastone weaknesses.
Rogan closed his eyes and dove into his inner space.
A warm, dry cave. Inside, a Groudon the size of a soccer ball curled up peacefully, fast asleep.
Sensing Rogan's arrival, it opened one eye—then excitedly opened its mouth.
"Waaa (hungry)~ waaa (hungry)~~"
"Wait a little longer, alright?"
Rogan replied with a headache.
This little guy was like a bottomless pit—eating at least eight meals a day, and ridiculously picky. Only high-nutrition meats. Wouldn't even glance at carbs.
A money-burning machine.
He couldn't save a damn coin—because this thing ate like a king.
But… there were upsides.
Since they were one, the Groudon's growth boosted his body too.
He'd also gained control over earth—like the Cliff-Splitting Sword and his cliff-run earlier, all thanks to Groudon's power.
And the kid was still just a baby. After only two and a half months, Rogan's physique had already doubled.
He couldn't even imagine how strong he'd be once Groudon fully matured.
One thing was clear—
The future looked bright!
