Everyone had reached the hospital. Mr. Vishwanath went to the information counter to inquire about Yuvraj. The man at the counter told them to go to the emergency ward. Everyone headed in that direction, and the police were also present there.
Mr. Vishwanath stammered as he spoke to the police, "We got a call from you. I'm Yuvraj's father."
The police officer began explaining in detail, "Today's accident happened on Mumbai's Marine Drive Road." Hearing this, everyone was shocked. Kaushalya Ji collapsed to the ground, crying. Mayank helped her up and made her sit on a chair.
By that time, Mannat had also arrived and overheard the news. She came rushing forward and anxiously asked, "How is Yuvraj? Where is he?"
The police officer replied, "He's in the emergency ward. The doctors haven't come out yet. Once they do, we'll ask them."
3:00 AM – Operation Theater
Everyone was standing outside, waiting for the doctor. When the doctor came out, everyone anxiously waited for him to speak. Mr. Vishwanath stepped forward with folded hands and asked, "How is my son?"
The doctor removed his mask and said, "Your son is out of danger, but he hasn't regained consciousness yet. Once he wakes up, we'll shift him to the general ward."
After saying that, the doctor left. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Mannat, standing nearby with folded hands, prayed to God for Yuvraj's recovery—and God heard her prayer.
Mayank told his mother, "Mom, you should go home. Dad and I will stay here."
Kaushalya Ji replied, "No, I won't go anywhere until my son regains consciousness."
Mr. Vishwanath folded his hands and said to Keshav Ji, "You all may leave if you want."
But Keshav Ji replied, "No, we'll stay here tonight too—until Yuvraj wakes up."
No one was willing to leave. Everyone stood in place when suddenly, the police returned and pulled Mr. Vishwanath aside. They informed him that the accident had occurred on Marine Drive Road, and after checking the CCTV footage, it was revealed that the accident was caused by the car of famous businessman Yug Bajaj. While the police were talking, someone else was listening—Mannat.
The moment Mannat heard Yug Bajaj's name, her blood began to boil.
With tears in her eyes, Mannat began mumbling to herself, "You took such a big revenge for one article? And that too, on an innocent person?" Then, angrily gritting her teeth, she said, "Mr. Yug Bajaj, you may be famous for the world—but to me, you are a criminal. A criminal who has now committed a crime for the second time. You got away once, but not this time. This is a promise from Mannat Aggarwal."
Since it was nighttime, Mannat couldn't do anything just yet. She waited for morning—to show Yug Bajaj his true face.
While Mr. Vishwanath and Inspector Mahendra were talking, Mannat stepped forward and said, "I want to file a complaint against Yug Bajaj and make sure he gets the harshest punishment."
Mr. Vishwanath turned to look at Mannat. Inspector Mahendra asked, "Who are you? Two people are talking here."
Furious, Mannat replied, "I'm the fiancée of the man who had the accident. His future wife. And if you don't want to go against Yug Bajaj, say it clearly. What you won't do, I will."
Angered by Mannat's words, Inspector Mahendra snapped, "Don't try to teach us our job—we know what we're doing."
Mr. Vishwanath stepped in and gently said to Mannat, "Beta, please calm down. Let us handle this. Everything will be fine."
Mannat stormed off angrily, still waiting for dawn.
7:00 AM
Yuvraj regained consciousness. The doctor informed them that only one person at a time could go inside and that the patient shouldn't be made to speak much.
Everyone was overjoyed. First, Mr. and Mrs. Vishwanath went in, then Mayank, followed by Keshav Ji and Seema Ji. Lastly, Mannat went in, her eyes filled with tears. She sat beside Yuvraj, and when he saw her, he moved his lips and whispered, "M-Mannat… sorry."
Mannat replied, "Why are you saying sorry? You didn't do this on purpose."
Yuvraj tried to speak slowly, "T-this all happened because of me."
Furious, Mannat glared at him and said, "Not another word! The doctor strictly told you not to talk. If you say even one more word, I'll punch you right where you're hurt—and then we'll see how much it hurts!"
Yuvraj chuckled at her words, though it made him wince in pain. But the smile on his lips showed he was amused by her scolding. They talked for about twenty minutes before Mannat came out.
Mannat left the hospital and took an auto to Bajaj Industries. She reached there by 8:30 AM. Employees hadn't arrived yet, but soon people started showing up. Mannat waited outside because the guard wouldn't let her in.
By 9:00 AM, the receptionist arrived and allowed Mannat inside. Mannat approached her and said, "I want to meet Yug Bajaj."
The receptionist looked her up and down—recognizing her as someone who had come earlier. She said, "Ma'am, you'll have to wait. Sir hasn't arrived yet. I'll inform you when he does."
Mannat insisted, "Call him right now. I need to speak urgently."
"Ma'am, please understand—Sir isn't in the office yet."
Pointing her finger, Mannat warned, "If you don't call him right now, I'll create chaos right here."
The receptionist called Shera and informed him about the situation. Shera immediately called Yug and explained what was happening.
Yug told Shera, "Get the car ready—I'm about to leave."
Yug quickly got ready and headed to the office. In 30–40 minutes, he arrived at Bajaj Industries—wearing a business suit, sunglasses, and carrying a dashing personality.
As he entered, the guard greeted him. Yug ignored everyone and walked straight inside, heading toward his private lift.
The receptionist greeted him too. Mannat, standing nearby, saw him—but Yug ignored her as well.
Just as Yug walked a few steps, Mannat blocked his path. She looked like a wounded tigress.
Yug took off his sunglasses when he saw her. Shera stepped forward and said, "Ma'am—"
Before Shera could finish, Yug raised a finger, motioning him to step aside. Shera quietly moved back.
Yug looked around the office where all the staff were present and coldly said, "Let's go to the cabin."
As Yug turned to leave, Mannat, gritting her teeth in rage, shouted, "Mister Yug Bajaj!"
Her voice echoed loudly through the office. Everyone turned to look at her. Yug stopped upon hearing his name.
He turned back, took a step forward, and in a low voice said, "Can't you hear? I said—let's talk in the cabin."
Just as he finished speaking, Mannat slapped him hard across the face. The slap echoed through the corridor. Everyone—including the guards—witnessed it in shock. Yug wasn't prepared for it and staggered slightly.
As he straightened up, Mannat slapped him on the other cheek too. It happened so fast that Yug couldn't even react.
Standing tall now, Mannat pointed her finger at him and said, "Those who are your slaves might listen to you—but I'm not one of them. I'm not here to listen. I've come here to speak—and you will listen. Understood, Mister Yug Bajaj? I've slapped you in front of everyone. Now, what will you tell them? How does it feel? Do you think your actions go unnoticed? If you enjoy causing people pain so much, then do it openly. Why hide?
And now—I'll tell everyone what you've done. Last time I didn't write much about you—but this time, I will write everything.
This story will end… only when Mannat Aggarwal ends it."
