Chapter 1 - The New

Chapter 1: Azerth 1

The morning was aggressively normal. Eiden Forth trudged through campus with a half-dead energy drink in one hand and headphones blaring to a Random anime opening song in his ears. Second-year college life had taught him two things: professors don't care, and sleep is optional. He hadn't signed up for philosophy at 8 a.m., but here he was — dragging himself across the cracked sidewalk of reality, "man why do have to attend this dumb classes anyway? I can probably learn more at you tube or something ,just as he was in his complaining thoughts something caught his eyes on a tree g, " Is that a squirrel or a cat ? I can't really tell , Thus he went to take a close look to find out ,"

And he came to see that the animal was a Cat. But this one had something... weird going on.It was stuck between two branches, tail flicking like it was flipping him off, and right where its backside should've just been fur and dignity—there was a shiny, metallic green object protruding unnaturally.Eiden stopped mid-step, stared and thought ...Am i crazzy? or is that a butt plug in a cat ..

He blinked, tilted his head, blinked again. The cat meowed,It was one of those loud, annoyed meows, like it blamed him for its current predicament."I'm not high, right? I swear all i drank this morning was a diet coke , not mushroom tea…" He pulled his hoodie down and looked around. No one else seemed to notice. Just him and this feline emergency-slash-interdimensional mystery kink scene that poped of an anime with weird title type shit .

Curiosity won out over common sense, as usual , Thus he dropped his bag, cracked his knuckles, neck and back to climb the tree.

Now, Eiden was not a climber. He was the kind of guy who searched on you tube "how to do pushups properly" with 3 am motivation and got winded halfway through the tutorial.

But still, something about that weird object tugged at his brain. Was it tech? A tracker? Alien?"Yeah right but maybe just maybe .

He got close. The cat hissed. "Easy, hentai furball. I'm not touching you. I just want to see what the hell is jammed in your—"

Just then the branch made a crack sound ,

"Fu**,His foot slipped, but didn't fall. It got jammed in a split in the tree, catching him upside-down like some urban piñata

"Ah—! Dammit! Dammit!"u have got to be kidding me ,The cat bolted, the shiny object slipped free with it, but in the same motion, Eiden managed to grab it — pure reflex. The cat launched itself onto another branch and disappeared. Now, dangling upside-down, he held the object in his palm. It was cold, metallic, and shaped like a sleek, smooth capsule — about six inches long, faintly glowing with a soft green pulse."This definitely doesn't belong in a cat. Or a tree. Or should it even be in my hand actually, it was in that cat's yuck and wasn't it a male ? double yuck."He tried to shift, hoping to pull himself upright, but pain shot through his leg.Hours passed. Or maybe just one. Hard to tell hanging upside down with blood rushing to your head, being roasted by the morning sun, and talking to yourself like a madman."Maybe this is karma for that AI girl dating sim I pirated."A breeze rustled the leaves. He moved his hand, trying to pull the object into his pocket and then pricked his palm on a hidden splinter in the bark."Son of a—!"Blood smeared across the capsule's surface. The glow intensified. It began to hum. Softly. Then louder.Nahhh this better not be a voddoo shit, the fckk i can't get it off Helll nahhh "The capsule vibrated. The green turned to white. Then..Boom.The air shattered. Not exploded , shattered like space itself cracked. Light burst out of nowhere, forming a swirling vortex around the tree. Eiden screamed as gravity stopped making sense.Branches twisted like ribbons. The sky folded. And then.. Nothing

He woke up with dirt in his mouth.

And pain. In every part of his body.

He coughed, rolled over, and groaned. "Okay. Okay. What in the flying flat Earth just happened?"The cave was dim, lit by glowing veins of crystal embedded in the stone. The capsule was still in his hand, now dull and inert. A faint green shimmer pulsed from within the crystal walls, like the whole cave was breathing. He staggered to his feet, wiping moss and dirt off his hoodie. The air smelled different — cleaner, colder, like after a thunderstorm but with a tinge of metal. He limped toward the cave's exit, pushing aside hanging vines, and squinted.A forest. But not like any he'd seen on Earth. The trees were impossibly tall and thin, bark a bluish-black, leaves glowing faintly in the shadows. Strange bird-like shapes flitted overhead, and in the distance... A town...Or at least, something that resembled one. Structures with sharp angles and rounded domes, glowing lines etched into their surfaces, rose beyond the trees. What caught his eye, though, were the massive blue crystal spires that surrounded the town like a protective ring. They shimmered in the light, refracting with an eerie hum.Eiden's brain stopped for a moment.

"…What. The. Actual. Hell!! ."

He stared at the town. At the alien sky, where he could see a sun and 4 planets like object in four direction with one of them looking shattered ,they weren't glowing but looked liked a moon visible on sunny days . Then looking down at the capsule which has now became transparent with its radiant bright light all gone .And finally, for the first time since he'd woken up, he realized something bone-deep with his years of anime, manga and novel experience that ,He wasn't on Earth anymore.

I really, really hope that glowing butt plug wasn't cursed.

To be continued....
