Chapter 11 - Shin Jutsu?

Time was passing by, and more and more sentient mana morcels set out to explore the vast world, sneakily and quietly attached themselves to the blissfully unaware denizens of Khonoa. Naruto was being monitored from afar by the ANBU, and the descolarized kid had to grow up on the streets, pulling pranks on everyone. These were entertaining at first, but Mr. Marrow was a busy gentlefox.

Years of studying bore fruit, and his chakra control reached its pinnacle—he could divide his unique body into multiple copies of himself and assign them specific tasks.

He nearly got caught during the Uchiha massacre, and it was only by sheer luck that his activities went unnoticed by the investigation teams. After all, no one would check for a bijuu chakra signature if no giant kaiju had been spotted nearby.

At six, Naruto started attending the Ninja Academy, while Elias and his friends received their diplomas from a very proud Mrs.Professor.Nyan, who was emotional and in tears—deeply proud of her students' performance. Then she announced she had to deal with a rebellion somewhere in the southern part of the Milky Way, claiming that those catnip-hating rebellious freaks deserved nothing but brutal death! A grand party was thrown for her departure aboard her majestic and fantastical spaceship, a destroyer-class vessel. Mrs.Nyan was a pink cat of justice.

Elias continued to influence Naruto in his dreams, disguised as a friendly talinking fox. Naruto, when alone, often talked to him—at least he tried to, though most of the time Elias had better things to do than play babysitter. The ANBU transmitted this behavior to the Hokage, but after a discreet investigation, they concluded that Naruto simply had an imaginary friend. It wasn't surprising; isolated and antisocial children often created such companions.

Two years later, it was time for Elias to wrap up the scouting operation "Cookies Are Freedom," named following a very serious debate in the Council of Friendship and Love, of which he was a proud member.

Naruto attempted to graduate early again but failed—as expected. Anyone could tell he was the worst student in the academy. It was a miracle he hadn't been dismissed yet.

After eating comfort ramen at Ichiraku, he went home and, after idling for a bit, fell asleep. Meanwhile, all the little sentient chakra pieces were converging toward the ceiling of his tiny apartment. It had taken weeks to gather every piece produced so far and discretely begin fusing them. Now, a large, red, liquid-like blob hovered above Naruto and with a soft "plop" it fell on him. The assimilation was fast but still emitted a chakra signal.

The Yamanaka on duty sounded the alarm, and squads of ANBU, accompanied by the Hokage, rushed to Naruto's place. But upon arrival, they found only a peacefully sleeping child—nothing else. After the Third Hokage checked the seal, he found no changes. The seal was intact and no chakra leakage was detected. Something felt off, but with no concrete signs, Hiruzen classified the event and treated it as a training exercise.

In the inner sanctum, however, Elias was submerged under mountains of information: ninja training techniques, citizens' daily lives, contents of ninjutsu scrolls, classified documents—everything. Even Root's most guarded intel had been obtained. Danzō was too busy catching up on delayed research to bother installing a bijuu chakra detector in his headquarters. And why would he anyway?

Processing and comparing all this information to what Kyūbi's memories contained was a monumental task. But Elias had the ultimate power: the power of friendship. Humbert Cumberdale, Marjory Stewart-Baxter, and Jeremy Fisher divided the tasks with him. Still, it took more than two years of relentless effort to process and organize the data.

And Naruto turned eleven.

Elias now understood the strange light he had seen above the villagers' heads—and why the previous beast had hated it. He rarely spotted positive emotions; everyone seemed consumed by negativity. He wasn't at fault was he?

He also noticed a major difference between his own composition and that of humans. He had no chakra nodes or channels. His organs only mimicked those of a fox, while the villagers' functioned normally. He was pure sentient chakra, producing infinite amounts over time. Humans, by contrast, were limited by their physical bodies. They held only faint traces of spirituality. The previous beast had more—an ocean compared to the villagers' mere drops. Strangely, Elias's spirituality was like a galaxy, if measured on the same scale.

They were different from Naruto too, only the surviving Uchiha kid did display a similarity, as a barely noticeable and different shakra was ever mixing with his. Was it genetics? Or something else?

The most significant difference, however, lay between Elias's Yin and Yang chakra: he possessed something else—a spark. This spark didn't do much by itself, but when stimulated, his chakra output increased drastically. When he funneled even the tiniest amount into an attack, it destroyed physical and chakra matter, erasing them from existence.

After studying Might Guy's Hachimon technique, and discussing with the cleverly delicious Marjory Stewart-Baxter, Elias conducted experiments—some of which unfortunately hospitalized Naruto. Eventually, he discovered how to safely stimulate the spark.

Instead of eight gates, Elias had eleven: Kingdom, Foundation, Glory, Eternity, Beauty, Severity, Mercy, Understanding, Wisdom, Crown, and finally, Death. He named this technique Ku no Mon, or eleven gates.

It was the perfect technique for someone like him—immortal with limitless energy. Even with all eleven gates open, Elias didn't die; he just became exponentially more powerful. However, the technique's novelty limited him—he could only sustain the first form for 14 minutes and the 11th gate for just one second. When Ku no Mon got interrupted, Elias suffered no consequences—but Naruto did.

Naruto was in class when it happened, whispering something to Choji at his desk. Then, suddenly—a brown explosion.

He vomited a fountain of happiness and expelled the filth of the world, which flowed down his pants in a never-ending flood of chocolate.

Everyone was shocked. Many were splashed by the wave. But once Iruka-sensei recovered from his flabbergasted stupor, the brown turned red, and he rushed Naruto to the hospital, leaving the dirtied classroom behind. From then on, Naruto earned a new nickname: The Brown Comet of Khonoa, and he had to stay hospitalized for weeks. Indeed, he didn't benefit from the usual fast regeneration jinchūriki were known for—Elias wasn't sharing.

Over time, Elias learned to use the spark more efficiently. His chakra now radiated a golden glow but his body remained that of a red fox. After much testing the conclusion was the following: it resembled the Cosmo from a manga he loved as a German kid: Saint Seiya – Die Krieger des Zodiac.

In the series, the knights of various gods combined Cosmo with ki, chakra, kundalini, and other energy forms. The most remarkable similarity was its ability to enhance physical prowess and—if mastered—achieve godlike power. In that world, Cosmo originated from a spark left in all beings after the Big Bang. But in this world, Elias alone seemed to possess it—perhaps it was a spark of creation indeed!

He also learned of the existence of Shin Jutsu, something Root had searched for over decades. His body retained faint memories of it. If the researchers' notes were correct, Shin Jutsu was a power beyond the laws of the world. His behavior-shaping meditative technique could qualify as Shin Jutsu—he wasn't supposed to be able to resist the Sharingan's influence, yet he did.

He also learned that additionaly to sealing techniques, bijuu were weak against Mokuton and Sharingan dōjutsu.

To test his power, Elias closed his eyes. He seemed to vanish from his mental prison and stood alone—on water stretching to the horizon, smooth like a mirror, infinitely deep. Above him, the sky was full of stars. Galaxies shone and twirled. Their beauty reflected perfectly in the water.

Overwhelmed by it all, he whispered:

"Non ha solo catturato la bellezza: l'ha sfidata, l'ha domata, e poi l'ha superata con un sorriso beffardo!"
