Chapter 25 - 26

[North of Fuchsia]

[East of the Camp]

[05:30 hours]

Two yellow eyes blinked open, and their owner sat up from where she had been lying. She began to stretch before she got up. Her mane waved in the light breeze, and the smell of rain met her nose as she took a slow breath. Dried blood stained her fur, left behind by a hunt, a few hours prior.

She had heard that horrid howl, and had sought shelter, should its source be looking for her. She didn't like the idea of dying…again. Oh, how she hated the ones who'd done this to her. Essentially condemning her to unrest for what was essentially an eternity.

The humans would pay for what they had done to her, if she ever found her way home. But that had already taken too long. She knew by now that she was far out of her own time.

A sound met her ears. A rabbit Pokemon ran past outside the cave she was sheltered in. She didn't know why she'd traveled south. As for the Pokemon, she'd never seen one like her. She knew the rabbit was female, by her scent. And she looked strong, very strong. The Pokemon seemed to glance in her direction, and she was quick to hide before she was spotted in the shadows.

She waited, and slowly emerged from her cave, before she began to stalk the rabbit, all the way back to a campsite. She then smelled them, four of them. Humans. Her aura swelled, and she growled. Her claws began to glow, a deep blue.

She began to stalk towards the tent, unaware of the watchful eyes in the trees above. A string readied, an arrow knocked. A sound similar to a bow being drawn. Her ears twitched, her head snapped upwards, but it was too late…

[Zeryph]

[Danger!]

I was jolted awake by a shock of energy through my system, and I jumped up in a hurry. Apparently, suddenly waking up was more than enough to extract myself from the position Kaorah and I were in. And, it woke her up, too. She growled, but being unhappy was forgotten, because of the sound of fighting outside.

By the time we got out, it was already over. Arrows stuck in the ground, and cuts along the tree line. Whatever it was, it had been quick, started and over in almost an instant. The claw marks looked like it might've been a Zoroark who left them.

The arrows, those I definitely knew. Cerise revealed herself to us. She was slightly injured, but nothing more than a few light scratches and some ruffled feathers. She was holding a pair of glowing green blades. Upon seeing us, she relaxed, and her Leaf Blades faded away.

"Cerise, what happened?" I asked.

"You…were about to be attacked in your sleep." Cerise answered. "It was a…Zoroark, I think?"

"Ugh, again?? We've already had enough problems with the first one." Kaorah said.

"That we have. Still…why would one randomly attack?" I asked.

"She was white and red, if that helps." Cerise said.

"Hisuian, of course. That makes perfect sense…a restless spirit, perhaps." I said. "But…question is, if she's recent, or if she's from a long time ago."

"Hisuian?" Kaorah asked.

"Yeah, ancient Sinnoh." I said. "It seems now we have two potential displaced…maybe. That, thing, from last night. And now a Hisuian Zoroark. The latter is going to be especially spiteful, considering how her variant came to be." I started to set up things for breakfast. "We can worry about this later. Go ahead and wake the others. I'll start on breakfast."

As I began to prepare our food, there was a flash of blue light. Dialga appeared from it, and he seemed worried.

"Zeryph, we have a problem." Dialga found a spot to sit down while he was speaking. He didn't have to, but it's his choice. "There is something in this area that does not belong. Its presence threatens the future timeline." He said.

"The Zoroark?" I asked while I was cracking some of the edible eggs, before putting them in a bowl to be scrambled.

"No, that one, has no notable effect on the future. The other one though, it's an anomaly. One, which seems to have the power of Darkrai." I offered Dialga some coffee, and he shook his head. "This…unknown Pokemon, is strong enough to threaten cities. If not directly, then by weakening them through constant nightmares. I must ask that you deal with it, as soon as you possibly can."

"Any preference on how we handle this?" I asked.

"Do what you must. If you believe its death to be necessary, then it's your call." Dialga stood. "I must be going, I have other matters that I need to look into. Contact Giratina once the creature has been handled." He said.

"We'll handle it." I said. "Before you go, with the Zoroark being from Hisui, how should we handle her?" I asked. "She may have been displaced from her own time."

"I will look into the circumstances of her arrival, but she is unimportant. Focus on our bigger issue." Dialga said. "I must be going now, good day." Dialga then vanished in a blue flash, the same way he had arrived.

[Quest Added!]

[The Howling Fox]

[Dialga has asked you to deal with a problem. A Pokemon, combined from the fusion of DNA from two others. You need to handle it, before it's too late.]

[Objective 1: Locate the anomaly from last night]

[Objective 2: Deal with the anomaly by whatever means necessary]

[Objective 3: Contact Giratina once the problem is handled]

[Rewards: 2,000 EXP, and whatever the trio decides to give you, as well as gaining reputation for helping them out. Optional reward- If you spare the target, they may appear to help you in the future, if you or your team are in trouble]

[Failure conditions; 1- Timer- you have three days to deal with the threat. After that time, it becomes a danger to civilians. 2-Target escapes, and is not pursued.]

[Failure penalties; 1- the target attacks a random town or city. 2- target escapes, and you miss your opportunity to stop it. In both cases, you lose reputation with the Creation Trio.]

Oh, interesting, first time the reputation system has appeared since I got that quest from Giovanni. I wonder why it hasn't showed between then and now. Maybe it's because the quest was given by Dialga himself, rather than being a random find. Wonder why it didn't show up after our help in Fuchsia, though? Maybe it's just more of a background thing that we won't really see much of.

"Was that Dialga?" Solais asked.

"It was. He had something urgent to inform us of. I'll tell you all later." I said. "For now, breakfast is our priority. Go ahead and find a spot. I'll have food ready in a few minutes." I shifted my focus back to what I was working on- pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage.

Lexie joined in on cooking, after reappearing from wherever she'd gone to clean up after her morning run. The scent of breakfast had awakened everyone else that wasn't already up. By the time it was ready, we had a huge gathering set up to feed. Brock went ahead and fixed some kibble, for the ones who preferred it over other types of food.

I held up a berry, and Evan snatched it from my hand without me having to say anything. He settled onto a branch in one of the nearby trees, before he began to eat. With that out of the way, I started to serve everyone. Mewtwo seemed to catch on, right away, to what I was thinking about, so I shared.

"Did any of you hear that howl, last night? What was that?" Ash asked.

"That, kiddo, was a very serious problem. An…acquaintance of mine, has asked me to deal with it." I said.

"Acquaintance? Who?" Misty asked.

"Sorry, I can't say. It would likely change too much." Of course, I don't know if revealing my contact with Dialga so soon would actually be a problem, but it's better to stay safe. "If we're going to deal with this, my team needs to split off from the rest of you. Sorry to leave you guys again, but it's important." I feel like we should go visit Oak, before doing anything else.

After breakfast, and packing up, I gathered my team. Though Solais had to go into her ball, it was only temporary. I had already shared the decision to visit Oak, so my team knew what was going on.

"Where are you all off to?" Misty asked.

"To see the Professor." I answered. "Based on that howl last night, and what I may have seen…I have some questions that I feel only Professor Oak can answer." I said. Of course, there's another one who might be able to supply some insight. Dr. Fuji.

Of course, walking into a Team Rocket and asking about him might not be the best idea, but if I have to, then I will. If he was able to create someone like Mewtwo, then he could possibly answer the question on where a fusion came from. That is assuming, of course, that the fusion isn't displaced from its own world.

In Infinite Fusion, the answer already exists in the form of DNA Splicers, created by Silph Co., which have the ability to merge two Pokemon together into one. There are…a lot of combinations. Far too many to list here. Darkrai has…a lot, and it just so happens that Ninetales is one of them. Right now though, our priority is to figure out where it might've come from.

I put a hand on Mewtwo's shoulder. As soon as everyone was making contact with one of us, he began to prepare himself for a mass-teleport.

"So, you're going to see Professor Oak about what we heard last night?" Ash asked.

"That's right, kiddo. It means we're gonna be separated for a while, again." I said. "If we're not able to catch back up to you, then we'll see you on Cinnabar. Mewtwo, whenever you're ready." The world blurred around us, and shifted. When it returned to normal, we were just outside Oak's lab.

I released Solais afterwards, and she began to stretch. Mewtwo found a place to sit down, and he looked exhausted.

"You gonna be OK?" I asked.

"I just need a minute. Teleporting a large group is still draining for me." He said. "I'll be along shortly."

"I'll stay out here, with him." Kaorah said. "Might even go visit Delia."

"That's your call. Everyone else, you can do what you'd like. Melanie, Cerise, I'd like for you two to come with me." I said.

"Us specifically? Whatever for?" Cerise asked, as we began to head inside.

"Oak's going to want to know you've joined the team. As well as the fact that I've gotten yet another Pokemon who isn't native to Kanto." I said.

"You seem to have a habit of that." Melanie said.

"Heh, yeah, I guess I do." The door slid open as I was talking, when we got near it. I still knocked anyway, just to be polite.

"Ah Zeryph. This visit was---goodness me." Professor Oak approached us. "Where did you manage to find yourself a Decidueye?"

"Just north of Fuchsia, actually." I said. "We haven't figured out why she was there. That's not the reason we're here, either." I found a pen and some paper, then, drew a sketch of the silhouette I had seen last night, from memory.

"What's this?" Oak asked.

"This, is why we're here." I said. "I couldn't get any more detail than this. That Ninetales, which is what I believe it is, howled. In a way that I've never heard before. There's more, too."

"More?"

"That's right. But, before we continue, I need to contact an acquaintance of mine." I walked over to a nearby mirror. It's fortunate that Oak was the only one on site, besides myself, and the two who are with me.

"What on earth are you doing?" Oak asked.

"Oh, you'll see." I started to reach for the mirror. "You may want to lock us down. This, isn't something that any random person should be able to wander into."

"I'm not sure I understand what's going on." He said.

"Like I said, you'll see." I channeled magic into my hand and softly knocked on the mirror, causing it to ripple like glass. Then, it started to turn black, before two red eyes appeared. "Giratina,"

"What?!" Oak's surprise is understandable.

"Let Dialga know that he's needed, please." I said.

"Gladly." The mirror returned to normal as Giratina's silhouette faded away. It didn't take long before Dialga appeared in a flash of blue light. In his human form, thankfully.

"Mr. Ketchum, what is going on here?" Oak asked.

"Have a seat, please." Dialga said. "We have much to discuss." The world flickered and the color faded, leaving only the three of us, Melanie, and Cerise. Time had stopped around us.

"Anyone for some tea? We might as well have some." I asked.

"Please. I need a moment to let this all sink in." Oak said.

"I'll have some too, I suppose. Are you going to use-"

"I am." I took some glass mugs from my inventory and set them on a table that we were going to sit around.

"Where did you even get those?" Oak asked.

"There's a lot about me that most folks don't know. Not even you." I said. "The personal inventory, and my contact with the Creation Trio, are just two of those things." I pulled out a pitcher of tea, and poured a cup for everyone, before stashing it away. "Everything in my inventory is kept in the exact state it was in, when it was placed."

"I…see. Is there anything else?" Oak asked.

"Dimensional portals, for one. Really handy for training. My team can train at full power without having to worry about collateral damage." I opened one, just to demonstrate, then closed it again. "If you're at all curious, my reason for revealing this to you, is your contact with Celebi." I said.

"Not to worry, Zeryph is one worthy of trust. He has already proven such." Dialga said. "I have been personally assigned to keep an eye on him, by my Father."

"So, that means that you've met…" Oak trailed off.

"Arceus, yes." I finished for him. "And as for my powers, a really simple explanation is that I…basically live as though I am an RPG character, with all of the bonuses that might imply. My powers, also affect my team in their own way. For example." Melanie's hands lit up with golden light as I finished speaking.

"Is that heal pulse?" Professor Oak gently grabbed Melanie's wrists, and lifted her hands for a closer look.

"No, what you're seeing is Restoration Magic." I lit my own hands with the same spell. "I can also do it. She learned it from me. I'm sure you've no doubt heard in the news--"

"Yes, of course. A Gardevoir capable of healing injuries with strange golden light. I understand now." He released Melanie's hands. "I must say that this is all…a lot to take in."

"I know that, and I apologize for it being so sudden." I said. "Still, I must ask that you not reveal what we have discussed here, to anyone. The less who know about my powers, the better." Oak nodded. "Dialga, I have more things I would like to discuss, but they aren't for here." I said.

"Understood." Color began to return to the world around us.

"Zeryph, I'm sure I don't need to warn you to be careful going forwards. You're now connected to things most normal trainers wouldn't even get a chance at. Your powers, use them wisely." Oak said.

"Don't worry, Professor. I will, you have my word. Dialga, if I may, is there any way for us to keep him updated on things?" I asked.

"If there is no serious risk to doing so, I don't see any reason that we can't." Dialga said.

"Perfect. Professor, onto what I previously asked about before. Dialga?"

"That's right. This drawing, the Pokemon you see in the silhouette, I believe, is not normal." Dialga said.

"What do you mean?" Professor Oak asked.

"What we're hinting at is, this Pokemon, is a fusion of two different ones. A Ninetales, as you can see, and-"

"Darkrai."

"A…fusion? I…can't say I've ever heard of such technology. Or, any other means of that matter, for fusing Pokemon together. Well, except for two cases." He said. "The only two I have heard of, are the Kalos Region's Zygarde, and, the dragons from Unova. Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom." The Professor said, referring to Zygarde's cells, Kyurem White and Kyurem Black, respectively.

"But, to fuse a Ninetales with the power of Darkrai? That is definitely unusual. While the technology could exist, possibly, I don't believe it does." Oak said, before taking a sip of his tea. What I'm getting from what he's said, is that our anomaly isn't from this world, but from another. Question is, how did it get here? Was it the same way as Lexie and, possibly Cerise? Or is there something else going on.

Much as I'd rather not try to seek out Dr. Fuji and ask him, I may not have a choice.

"We must be off now. I've gotta round up my team, and then we need to discuss something sensitive. Sorry to say, but it can't involve you, unlike this." I said.

"I understand. And, Zeryph, if you get the chance, I would like to have the rest of the Creation Trio pay a visit, some day." Professor Oak said.

"I'll see what I can do. We're quite busy, most of the time." Dialga said. We left soon after. I decided to leave Professor Oak's cup of tea with him, so that he could finish it. I sent Melanie to gather everyone up to meet at home. When we got there, I was the one to knock on the door. My aunt was the one to open it.

"Hey, I figured you were in the area when your Garchomp showed up at the door." Delia said.

"Hey auntie. Yeah, had to pay the Professor a visit." I stepped inside, making sure to leave my boots by the door on the inside. It didn't take very long for my team to gather in the living room. Then there was another knock.

"Another? Let's…who's this?" Delia asked.

"A friend of mine." I said.

"Apologies for the sudden visit, madam. Your nephew believed it to be best that we find a private setting for a discussion." Dialga said.

"His voice sounds…strange." Delia commented. "Come in. Please be careful to not track any dirt."

"Not to worry. There won't be a trace." Dialga said. He seemed slightly amused about the comment on his voice. "As far as my voice goes, well, you likely wouldn't believe us if we told you." He said. Mr. Mime definitely seemed to already know who he was. He recognized Dialga, as soon as he entered the living room to say hey to me. Based on the sudden double take my aunt did, he'd told her what was going on.

"Him? A Pokemon? There's no way." Delia said.

"Oh, it's true. Go ahead, introduce yourself." I said.

"My name is Dialga. It's nice to meet you." Dialga said.

"Dialga? Should that be familiar?" My aunt asked.

"Honestly, no, it shouldn't." I said. "You likely wouldn't have heard of him, before now. Most people wouldn't, in fact." I told her. "And as for the proof, well…this isn't the best place to show you. He's kinda big."

"This is certainly true. My real form would damage the building, I'm afraid." Dialga said. "Not to mention the risk of potentially causing a panic, were I to reveal my true self here."

"Why does the crazy stuff always happen to you?" Delia asked me, once she'd processed everything we had just told her.

"Honestly, I don't know. We'll be in my room for a while. Our whole group. You're not going to hear anything though, thanks to a little something I picked up." I said.

"What would that be?" Delia asked.

"Soundproofing. Ya know that golden light that's in the news?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"It's magic. I can do it, too. Soundproofing just happens to be one of the things on the list." I said. Figured that I might as well be honest with her. I may not be her son, like Ash is, but we are still family, and she does worry about me.

"After that storm in Fuchsia, and then your reveal of Dialga here…I'm not sure I'll be surprised anymore." Delia said.

"There's going to be plenty of things in the future, more surprising than this." I said. "We'll be in for a while, and then we'll head back out. I've got a problem that's revealed itself to us, and it needs to be handled urgently."

"I assigned your nephew to the task of dealing with an anomaly." Dialga said.

"So you not only know him, but you're also working together?" My aunt asked.

"Sort of. He's been assigned to monitor me, as well. I can't really get into specifics unless I know for sure that it's safe to explain." I said.

"Well then, you owe me an explanation, one day. Go, have your discussion. Just don't make a mess." Delia said. As we all started to go towards my room, my aunt had one more thing to ask. She stopped me with a hand on my shoulder. "Zeryph, those new things in your room. Where did you get them?" From my reaction, she seemed to guess it wasn't good.

"That's…painful, to talk about." I answered. "Those figures, the pictures, and the other items. They're all…memories from a long time ago. You wouldn't understand, even if I explained it properly." I said.

"From…your parents? I don't remember them giving those to you." Delia said.

"My team and I. We went home, and…I brought those from my room." Not exactly the truth, but not a lie either.

"Alright, well, I'll keep the dust off of them for you, while you're away." Delia said.

"I appreciate it. Just be careful with the white and translucent red one, it has a bad knee. It'll fall from the slightest push." I told her. After our talk, I headed for my room. Dialga was inspecting the shelf, where my collection had been set up.

"These are some unusual items." Dialga said. "Where did you get them?" I cast a soundproofing spell, as soon as the door was shut.

"From a little trip I made to my old home." I said. "They're remnants of the life I had, before this one."

"I see." He carefully picked up the Octoling Amiibo from the shelf, in order to take a closer look at her. "An Octillery, perhaps? Is this some sort of secret evolution?" He asked.

"No, not at all. She's an Octoling. The one next to her is an Inkling. Both are from a video game I used to play, a lot." I took her, carefully, and set her back in place. "In their universe, they're the successors of humanity, after a catastrophic flood that wiped out the human race." I said. Then I decided to change the subject. "Now then, onto that talk I wanted to have. I've got some questions." I sat down on my bed. "First, when do you think that anomaly is going to appear again?"

"The next appearance will be within a day from now, near Fuchsia once again. You should make as much preparations as you can." Dialga said.

"Alright. Second, and this is the more important one. Why is it that I was given Mewtwo, when I know for a fact that normally, he never joins a team." I said.

"Zeryph? What are you--"

"I do know, but I'm not sure you want to." Dialga interrupted what Mewtwo was saying. "This knowledge will have an effect on the future, I warn you now. Are you absolutely sure you want to know?" He asked.

"I do. Question is, does he want to?" I asked, referring to Mewtwo.

"Why? What's the reason you're asking now?" Mewtwo asked.

"Think about it. A crime boss takes a random trainer off the street, and into their base. To train one of the most powerful Pokemon who ever lived. But not only does he give you to me, but also allows us to leave without any issue." I said. "Not to mention, the fact that not once did anyone voice an opinion that supported the idea, nor was there any against it."

"Hold on a moment, I think he might be onto something." Kaorah said.

"Yeah. It's strange, especially since I didn't really stop to think about it before. I got a quest from Giovanni for it, that much is true. However, the failure conditions were left blank." I said. "Perhaps…because the result of failure was something I had to discover through alternative methods, maybe?"

"Now that you've said something, I think you may be right." Mewtwo said. "I never once tried to influence them into letting me free. And I never could get them to tell me anything apart from a testing schedule. Every single time I asked."

"Yeah. Despite the high rewards, I don't think this is meant to be a partnership, at all." I said. "I think, we're just being used. And we didn't even realize it at first."

"Seriously?" Melanie asked.

"That's…yeah, I think you're right." Mewtwo said. "Dialga, show us, please."

"Oh, very well. But I warn you, you will not like it." Dialga clapped his hands, and the world around us changed, until it was like we were in Giovanni's office. "His office, immediately after you left. You won't be able to do anything other than observe. I ask that you all remain quiet, until we have returned to the present." Dialga said.

The room began to brighten until it looked exactly as it had when we left. Then everything began to move, starting with the door shutting behind my past self as he'd left the room. We were waiting for several minutes, before a screen rose from Giovanni's desk and flickered to life.

"Doctor." Giovanni said.

"Are you sure that was wise?" A man's voice came from some speakers on the desk. "Giving away one of our subjects like that? And to someone we don't know, no less." The man said.

"Dr. Fuji, as I have said before, what happens to the subjects is ultimately, my decision." Giovanni said. "Need I remind you, that it was my decision to have one trained on the outside, in order to see what happened differently from the first one?"

"No, but, I still don't feel that it was the best decision. That young man has seen that we have a base, in a gym, no less. And not only that, but what we are capable of." Dr. Fuji said.

"Of course. However, I don't believe that he'll go and reveal us to the authorities." Giovanni raised a hand, and quietly motioned to something in the room's shadows.

"How do you know that he won't?" Dr. Fuji asked.

"If he tries, well…we'll see about that." As Giovanni was speaking, something revealed itself from the shadows. I took a brief look around to see everyone's reactions. And the team was stunned. But Mewtwo, he looked horrified. Standing, just barely within the shadows, was another Mewtwo. Her form was thinner than his, giving away that she wasn't exactly the same. Unlike Mewtwo, she was equipped with some very advanced gear. Gear that I haven't seen before.

"Libra, my dear, insure that our recent visitor doesn't go and betray us." Giovanni said.

"Rules of engagement?" She asked, in English, no less. She spoke with a monotone, and her eyes lacked any sign of emotion.

"Stay out of their range. If I'm right, that young man will likely have your…brother, watching the area for anything that might sneak up on them." Giovanni said.

"Understood. If they notice me?" Libra asked.

"If you do things right, they shouldn't be alerted."

"And, if they try to report us to the authorities?"

"Eliminate them."

"But what about-"

"Silence, doctor. You've created two, already. You can always make more if the need arises." Giovanni interrupted Dr. Fuji. "If that young man turns on us, the Mewtwo we gave him will be considered expendable. Am I clear?"

"Fine, fine. But if something happens to him, you owe me." The doctor cut contact afterwards.

"Libra, go, you have your assignment. If it seems like they may be onto us, return and report, immediately. Do not make any attempt to deal with them, unless their actions prove they're a threat." Giovanni said.

Libra bowed her head, then vanished in a familiar flash of light. It was only after this that color faded from the world, and the room returned to my own. We all stumbled as things shifted, then found our own places to sit down. Mewtwo was staring off into space, seemingly frozen. After I recovered, I got up and walked over to him, then reached out to touch the side of his face.

"Zeryph…I-"

"I know." I interrupted what Mewtwo was going to say.

"I warned you that you wouldn't like it." Dialga said.

"No shit." I said as I sat down next to Mewtwo, and let him grab one of my hands to hold, like he'd done before.

"How much do you think she knows?" Kaorah asked.

"No idea. Doesn't matter. What does is that we're in serious trouble now. Listen, no matter what, do not give any indication that you know. Goes for all of you." I said. "This is not to be discussed outside of a private setting for any reason, understand?" After everyone nodded, or voiced their agreements, I spoke to Dialga. "So, how long have you known?"

"Since the day it happened, I'll admit that." He answered. "You see now, don't you? That you're in a situation that's much more serious than you thought." Dialga said.

"Yes, you're right. What's important now is, that we continue to act as we have been." I said. "We know there's a spy following us, so let's make sure that she doesn't get anything abnormal to report back with." I said. "We can worry about Team Rocket later. For now, we continue what we have been doing. First thing- dealing with the anomaly. I can only hope that our sudden teleport has at least delayed our tail, for a little bit."

"I shall return to Father, right away." Dialga said. "This is very important information, which needs to be shared."

"Arceus has the right to know, of course. Leave nothing out." I said. "Everyone else, you can head outside. We're heading back in a few minutes." As the others left the room, I felt Mewtwo squeeze my hand. "Are you feeling OK?" I asked.

"Honestly? No, no I am not." Mewtwo said. "All this time I thought I was alone, only to have just learned…it was a lie." I wrapped an arm around him, and he leaned against me. "How would that feel to you?"

"Not sure, actually. I guess it would…depend on the circumstances." I said.

"Well, still…not only, am I not alone, but also…they have her. And, what's worse is that she's completely under their control." Mewtwo said. "You heard the way she spoke, too. They've taken her emotions, and likely even her free will. Zeryph, we've gotta--" I silenced him, gently, with one of my hands.

"I know. We have to do something, there's no denying that." I said. "But, I don't think that, right now, there's anything we can do. Much as we might want to save her, risking what would effectively be a war, isn't a wise decision." I said.

"So, what do we do?" Mewtwo asked.

"We wait, and we plan. Come on, we've got an anomaly to deal with. That takes priority over this, then, we'll see if we can't start planning for her, while on our way to Cinnabar." I got up, then pulled him up afterwards. It's very likely that Libra, based on what Giovanni called her, is going to be facing us when we get to Viridian.
