After Mewtwo and I regrouped with the rest of the team, I sent Pidgey up into the air. When he came back, he pointed us to a nearby pond. We then took turns using the water to clean ourselves up. I changed into clean clothes, and my ruined set would need to be disposed of. Following all of that, we got back on the road and continued south. I had Pidgey up in the air, once again, looking for Ash and the others.
"I wasn't able to find them, within the search radius." He said as he returned, settling onto my right shoulder. "Sorry, boss." he said. They had gone on ahead, like I had said for them to. Better than waiting here for us, for however long it would take…and then having me come back with blood on my clothes.
"It's fine, bud." I very softly scratched the top of his head. "You tried, at least. We'll see them again, eventually." I said. "Besides, it doesn't matter which of us gets there first. Whether it's our group, or theirs. The ones who arrive first can just wait on the others, for however long it takes." I added. Of course, I already knew that we'd be there first. Even if they did get a head start.
If Ash's sense of direction is anything like the original, they got lost. About what I'd expect, since if I were with them, there wouldn't be any getting lost, and Ash wouldn't get the Kanto starters. I guess it's not worth worrying about. Of course, Team Rocket not being a constant problem, day after day (Jessie, James, and Meowth, specifically) will change things up.
There's also a possibility that they somehow manage to get back to Kanto. With all of their gadgets, I wouldn't be surprised, I'll admit that. Eh, not like Mewtwo can't just teleport them away again. They're not nearly as bad as Team Rocket, as a whole, at least.
[Three hours later]
[Zeryph]
We were getting into the afternoon, about thirteen-thirty hours, when Mewtwo's eyes widened.
"Zeryph! Eight forms approaching from our six o'clock. Very quickly. Eight on the other three." More than likely mounted. I gave the signal to halt. It sounds odd, the way Mewtwo worded it, but he was kind of in a hurry to alert us.
Soon after, three Rapidash, talk about out of place, slid to a stop on the road. Three trainers were with them, dismounting as soon as they arrived. The other two- a pair of Lucario. So this must be-
"Trainer, where did you find her?" One of the trainers asked.
"In the forest a ways south from Cerulean City, up that way." I pointed back up the road. One of the Lucarios whispered something in his ear, and gestured at the Riolu's neck, where…she had a Lucarionite attached to a collar. That…must've been her mother's. I didn't even notice, I'll be honest.
"I…see. She went missing, a couple days ago. She, and her mother, both. We've been looking for them, since then. So, am I right to assume her mother's…"
"Deceased." I interrupted, earning a series of sighs.
"Understood. You did what you could, at least." He said.
"Yeah…wish we could've gotten there, much sooner. Melanie, hand her over, gently." Melanie approached the group. One of the Lucario took the sleeping Riolu from her arms. "She…was a witness. Saw her mother's death, and the aftermath of the battle. That Lucario must've been a hell of a great fighter." I said.
"She was. One of our best, even. Not the greatest overall, by any means." He responded. "But still, thanks…for what you could do. What did you do with her mother?" He asked.
"Buried her." I answered. "Best thing we could do other than that, was a moment of silence. We also…disposed of the dead Houndoom, but this was on one of them." I held it out, the broken collar that had been yanked from one of their necks. Mewtwo hadn't been gentle with it, for reasons I understand.
"What is this?" The lead trainer asked.
"A collar, that 'R' is the symbol of Team Rocket. I don't know their reasons for attacking the pair, especially since there were no live subjects for interrogation. I wouldn't normally hurt a Pokemon out of ill intent, unless that same Pokemon has willingly harmed others." And Dark types, despite being one of my favorite types in Pokemon, are the most likely to have that happen. Save for the night time friendship evolution, Umbreon.
"Just…be careful. There's a squad my team does personally know, who are…not the best. They're just thieves. Still bad, but they're hardly the worst Team Rocket has to offer. Mewtwo here, dumped them on Poni Island, in the Alola Region. It was the least aggressive way of dealing with them." I said.
"I also have…personal history. I don't like to talk about it. If not for Zeryph, I'd still be…" Mewtwo trailed off. I'm in no hurry to make him talk about what they'd done to him. He'll say when he's ready.
"Thanks…for your warning. I can't say that we can investigate ourselves, but I can get the word to someone who can. Thank you for your time, and…for finding our missing members. Shame that we were just too late." I nodded. Lifted my right hand and waved as they left, much slower than the speed that they had arrived at.
"Well…that was, unexpected." I commented, once they were out of earshot. "Still, I'm glad that she's back in good hands."
"Think we'll see her again?" Kaorah asked.
"Maybe. Still, I really hope they're going to be able to help her move past…what happened, earlier this morning." I answered. "Okay, different topic. Who wants lunch?" Several growls met my ears, and we shared a good laugh. We found a cafe to sit down and eat. I helped them move tables around for their outdoor area, so that we had space to sit.
Following lunch, our trip to Vermilion City continued. Although I'd like to do some things here in Saffron, I'll save it for later. Primarily so that Mewtwo has better control over his powers, by the time I challenge the gym. Since he's going to do most of the fighting, along with Solais.
We stopped, a few hours later, because it was getting dark. We found a place, a little ways off the road, to set up camp. A small clearing, but there was enough space for us to set everything up, at least. We settled down for the night, and went to sleep.
[???]
A portal rippled in the air as its creator shifted behind it. A pair of red eyes staring out from the shadowy world, at the camp below. It had been a decent amount of time, since he last checked on the human who had caught his attention.
Oh, how he wanted to draw the human to Sendoff Spring, and into the Turnback Cave. One of the few places where a human could cross into his world, without having to step through a portal. And, without knowing what the cave would lead them to. But at the same time, many could get lost within, as well. And, many have.
"Some day, human…you and I shall meet, in person. I, eagerly, await that day." The ghost dragon spoke. After all, if he was caught, then that meant he no longer had to remain in the Distortion World, at all times. Outside of the meetings, of course. Or, any significant disaster that he was actually needed for.
At least, he wasn't the only one, anymore. His brothers, and even Father, knew about the human now. Of course, it was always possible that Arceus knew from the start. From before Giratina, or his brothers, had found out. Though, Arceus didn't say that He already knew, either. Which itself was certainly interesting.
To be able to hide from the Creator, Himself, was no small achievement. If one could hide from Arceus, then who knows what sort of things they could do, during the time that they were hidden.
Giratina angled his portal so he could see to the east, as the sun began to rise. Though only moments had passed in his world, for the human and his team, it had been a full eight hours since they settled down. The Ghost Dragon had not missed how the human and his Garchomp, snuggled as they slept. The intimacy between the pair was obvious, for those who knew what to look for.
He'd even seen the human's scars, the mate mark left by the Garchomp's fangs. But, he didn't care. It was obvious that their love was genuine, not forced. And, as far as Giratina was concerned, it didn't matter anyway. If a human wanted to date a Pokemon, they were more than welcome to. Arceus would likely agree with it, but only if it were genuine, along with other factors, such as age, most importantly. Especially for any Pokemon species not capable of evolution.
Giratina decided that he'd reveal that bit of information he'd acquired, to Arceus, at their next meeting. Dialga was the only one to see them in person, even if under the guise of a human, himself. His brother hadn't said anything about the pair smelling similarly to each other. But then again, Dialga wasn't going to intrude upon their privacy, either.
Neither was Palkia, though the dragon of Space was the least likely to spend time observing the team below. And Dialga, would rather appear by chance, as they knew the human could pick him out of a crowd, easily. Then again, anyone could. Dialga's choice of outfit in his disguise, did stand out. Though, most wouldn't think he was related to the dragon of Time, in that form. If they weren't from Sinnoh, that is.
As the team began to emerge from their tents, Giratina closed the portal he'd been watching through. Although it wouldn't be visible if he didn't want it to, he chose to avoid the chance of being sensed. And there was also the matter of Mew's clone, too. He knew, almost as soon as he'd seen the strange psychic type, who the Pokemon's genetics came from.
He decided that he'd report that to Arceus, later on. In addition to what else he had discovered, much as he didn't like Father. It was strange that his brothers didn't say anything, during the last meeting. Either they didn't notice, or they just decided they wouldn't say anything.
[08:00 Hours]
[Zeryph]
Following our breakfast, we began to pack our things up again, then started south. We would be in Vermilion, by late morning, at the earliest.
"Zeryph, a moment please." I nodded. Mewtwo and I fell back behind the others. "I feel that I need to alert you to something. Earlier, just before sunrise, I…sensed something, watching us. It was there for about an hour, and only left once you and the others began to wake up. I was awake two hours before the rest of you, and only sensed it when I began to meditate." He said. How…strange. For something to watch us for…likely, much longer than Mewtwo was even awake.
I'm surprised he didn't sense it sooner, but like he said, his meditation was what let him sense it. Normally, he would have, anyway. It's, most likely, a ghost type. If it had been dark, he wouldn't have sensed it at all. Well, either that, or it's extremely powerful. Could even be a mix between the two.
Although, if he could sense it, it is probably a ghost type. He can't sense dark types, he's even said so before.
"No idea what it could be. No reason to focus on it, right now. If it pops up again, just make note of it somewhere. We can at least keep track of when it's appearing." I said. "For now, let's get to Vermilion City." We caught up with the others, and continued onwards at a good pace. We weren't going to run to get to the city, as it would be a pointless waste of our energy. Not without an actual reason to do so.
It was late morning, by the time we arrived, just as I thought it would be. Since we didn't have to stop for battle, or anything. I figure it's likely because I leave my whole team out. Were I any of these other trainers, and I saw someone with a team like the one I have now, I wouldn't want to challenge them, either.
We checked into the Pokemon Center, and as Nurse Joy was handing me the key, something came in. Some Pokemon transporting an Oddish, with some pretty serious injuries. I frowned…so, it seems that's still a problem.
"What happened to him?" I asked, just to be sure.
"That Oddish…likely lost against Lt. Surge." Nurse Joy answered. "His battles are harsh, and often, leave Pokemon injured." I shook my head.
"Well…we have to wait a few days, for some other folks to catch up. Then, my team and I will face them. We have ourselves, a significant advantage." I said. Kaorah let out a snort. She'd destroy Surge's team, with ease.
"Ah yes…your…Garchomp, right?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Yes, that's right. She's a ground type. And is one of eight Pokemon species that are powerful enough to be considered a pseudo-legendary. She's my starter too, which is just a bonus." I said. "So, if you feel any minor tremors a few days from now, it's her fault." Kaorah snorted, once again. With how powerful her Earthquake is, should her attack get boosted, she could level an entire city if she didn't hold back.
"Alright, everyone. Let's go and settle in." We headed to the rooms we were given. Melanie had hers to herself, like in Cerulean City. There were so many on our team, that we had to work with this arrangement. Not that it was a problem.
And, once we were in our rooms, I called everyone together, gathering the team in front of a portal for an empty dungeon.
"Alrighty. So, since we're going to be waiting for several days, I have an idea for something we can do." I said. "We're going to have a series of free for all battles, over the next few days, using the empty dungeon. You can bow out, if you feel like you can't continue at any point. Just remember- no serious injuries of any sort." I heard various agreements from my team.
"Alright. Pick an edge of Vermilion City to stand at, battle begins with my signal. Pidgey, if you don't want to take part, you don't have to." I said.
"No, this is team training. I might be far behind everyone else, but I'm still taking part." I smiled.
"That's the spirit. Alright, let's go." We went through the portal, and everyone scattered. "Rules on collateral damage, you're all good. Damage will not carry over. I will call out when the time to stop is, or when only one is left standing." I said. Both out loud, and mentally. Solais started within hearing range, for that reason.
"Ready? Begin!" I then sought out a place to safely observe everything as it happened. The first engagement happened to be Kaorah and Mewtwo. The two strongest members of the team. The others stayed well clear of their fight. Pidgey, up in the air, had one advantage in that he could see where everyone was, but they also could see him. As indicated when a weak lightning spell was cast in his direction.
Melanie was already on him, it would seem. More than likely just trying to get him out of the air, so he couldn't avoid the fights below. I saw him send a wave of air downwards with his wings, from Gust. Though, it wouldn't do much damage. With Melanie's force cloak, it wouldn't do anything at all.
A crash drew our attention, as Kaorah was blasted through a building with Telekinesis. I watched her get to her feet, and then braced myself as her tail begin to glow. The glow faded as she slammed it into the ground. Though the wave wouldn't affect her, myself, or Pidgey, it did affect those who got hit by it. Mewtwo had teleported out of the way.
Melanie stumbled as the wave hit her, and I couldn't see where Solais had gone. Several buildings crumbled as Kaorah's Earthquake destroyed them. It was only after the dust settled that Solais appeared, horn lit with an amethyst glow. She swung around with Payback, hitting Kaorah's back. The dragon stumbled, wincing as the Absol's successful flanking attack made its mark.
She rounded on Solais, intent on retaliating with a slash, but missed, only barely. Solais seemed to have chosen to hit and run, rather than face Kaorah or Mewtwo head on. A fantastic idea, one that would also give her some help with Melanie.
Kaorah's distraction let Mewtwo make a hit of his own. He appeared, smacked her at very close range with Psystrike, and then was gone just as quickly. This time, Kaorah was knocked off her feet, but transitioned into a use of Dig, vanishing beneath the ground.
Pidgey settled onto my shoulder, looking exhausted. While my attention had been on the team's heavy hitters, he'd been fighting Melanie. It's likely that she chose to play defensively, letting him wear himself down.
"Hey, bud. Already done?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Melanie's defensive barrier is something else. If I were stronger, I'd be able to break it." He answered.
"You're certainly right. I'm sorry that we haven't been able to do much for your training. Just keep in mind- you'll get plenty over these next few days." A loud bang sounded through the false-city, following a bright flash. Kaorah stumbled, singed from a powerful lightning spell hitting her. The scales on her chest had blackened, where she was hit, singed by the heat of the bolt. Though she's immune to the effects of electricity, it doesn't meant that the heat won't at least cause discomfort
"That…hurt." She growled out. She crouched, and then leapt. Flying forward at high speed. Melanie's hands flew up, her force cloak flaring to life at her command. The sound of shattering glass echoed as Kaorah slammed into the barrier, breaking through and slamming into the Gardevoir with a great deal of force.
"Ooohh…that looked painful." Pidgey commented. I winced. Melanie had been knocked off her feet by the hit. She tumbled to a stop, holding her abdomen with her arms, though I could see the faint light of a healing spell, seeping through her fingers. That's a good indication, as it means she's healing herself. Any worse and I'd have to call an emergency stop.
At least Kaorah toned down the speed of her rush. A two hundred pound Pokemon slamming into you with that much force, doesn't matter who you are, is going to hurt. Unless you're a steel type, but still. I walked over to Melanie, avoiding the rest of the fighting going on. Mewtwo and Kaorah had engaged, once again.
Mewtwo's defense was, so far, proving to be a perfect counter to Kaorah's offensive fighting. The fact that Mewtwo can sense attacks coming, definitely helped. If not for the fact that he could teleport, he would have to block every attack, as Kaorah's just fast enough that her hits are very hard to dodge. At least, for now. I think Mewtwo's just barely faster, but without teleporting, it's not much.
I plan to start them all on using weights, soon. It'll be a fantastic boost for everyone. Kaorah's already our fastest, not counting use of teleportation, so it'll be especially good, for her. Of course, it helps everyone else, as well. The fact that I can order them through the cross-world market, now that it's working, is nice. Of course, they'll need to be adjusted to fit their wearers.
Solais revealed herself again, making an attack at Mewtwo's back, while he was focused on defending himself. The sudden Night Slash to his back, threw off his concentration and caused him to stumble. Using the break in his guard, Kaorah slammed a Dragon Tail into his body. Mewtwo was thrown from his feet, and through the window of a nearby store. I winced, the cuts from the glass, wouldn't feel good.
Solais made an attempt to get away, to prepare herself to attack again, when she saw another opening. Kaorah was much faster, using another Dragon Tail to knock the Absol out of the fight, eliminating the possibility of being flanked again. She could've done so, much earlier, but for whatever reason, she didn't.
Melanie had also gotten to her feet, limping over to myself and Pidgey, and arm still across her body. She was sore, that was very clear, but better than being injured. The fact she could walk was a good indication, too.
"We'll get you checked over properly, once we're back in the Pokemon Center." I told her, earning a soft smile and a nod. While she did have Restoration, her level wasn't all that great. She could only do so much, before exhausting herself. If she wasn't already, that is.
Mewtwo emerged from the store he'd been flung into…and he was a mess, from where the glass had cut him. He was bleeding, but it wasn't bad. Mostly just light cuts, though I can't imagine that it felt good.
His eyes began to glow, and he brought his hands together, drawing energy for a huge attack. Kaorah braced herself as he launched it, a supercharged psychic blast, sending forward a wave of energy that kicked up a lot of dust as it traveled. Kaorah stumbled as it hit her, but she didn't fall. Her response was to send back an Earthquake. Mewtwo dodged it, though he had to quickly prepare himself, as Kaorah charged.
He began to charge an attack in his right palm. And, at the last possible moment, he vanished in a purple flash, slamming downwards with a powerful Psystrike as he reappeared, interrupting Kaorah's flight and slamming her into the ground with a loud bang. Kaorah being slammed into the ground, created a decently sized crater. And, for the first time, ever, she'd been knocked out in a battle. Even if it wasn't an official one.
Mewtwo slowly walked over to us. As the adrenaline began to wear off, fatigue began to set in. He went from fine, if not for the cuts, to looking exhausted. Solais had begun to wake up, as well. It was clear that she was suffering from a headache, based on how slowly she lifted her head. I hope it's just a headache, and not something more serious. Kaorah had hit pretty hard.
"Good job, bud." I complemented Mewtwo. He smiled, a rare sight, but one worth remembering. "Come on, help me get her up." Together, we lifted Kaorah from the ground, and began to return. When we reappeared in the Pokemon Center, we startled Nurse Joy. If not for the fact we had injured Pokemon, it would've been suddenly appearing from a portal that caused a scare.
"What happened?!" She recovered from her shock, very quickly. The medical team had everyone rounded up, and took them to the back as soon as they could.
"Training did." I took out an Oran Berry, and held it up so that Pidgey could eat it. He still looked tired, though he was grateful for the snack. "Took them to a place where we wouldn't have any chance of causing serious collateral damage, and then, I had them engage in a free for all. Mostly, to see where everyone stands currently."
"I…see. Well, in the future, please don't train so harshly. Even if they can take it." Solais was the first one to come back.
"No promises." I told her. "Besides, it gives us a good idea of who needs the most improvement. Pidgey's going to be our first focus, then I'll work on the others as they come up." I softly patted Solais on the head, making sure not to irritate her headache, if it was still there. She didn't have a concussion, at least. "First thing to start them on will be weights."
"Weights?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Yeah, training while weighted down, increases their strength. But at the same time, weight slows whoever's holding it. So when that weight gets released…"
"They go faster." She finished for me.
"Exactly." Mewtwo was the next to return. He didn't have any bandages on, an indication that Melanie had used some of her Restoration magic on him. Seriously though, having a mage on our team really gives us an edge. If she can't use it in combat, then healing magic is her choice, for when we aren't in a battle. It really shortens our recovery time.
Speaking of whom, she was the next one to come back. With Kaorah right behind her. Kaorah's scales were still dusty, but there was no sign of injuries. Both from when she took Melanie's lightning blast, and from what Mewtwo did. She seemed irritated, though it's likely because she'd just lost, for the first time, ever.
"Come on, everyone. Let's go clean up, and then head out for some supper. Tomorrow, we'll start working on our training." I said. We began to head for our rooms, taking our time to walk up the stairs to them. As we approached our doors, I felt Melanie grab my right hand, and she began to slow down.
"Kaorah, I'll be with you in a little bit. Let me see what she needs, first." I told her. She was going to want some personal time, for sure. She was likely dealing with some minor soreness, so she'd get a massage. I stepped into Melanie's room, with her, once I had said what I needed to.
"So, what do you need?" I asked her, sitting down on her bed. She had the room to herself, of course, so there wasn't any need to share with anyone.
"It's from earlier. I still feel sore, after Kaorah slammed into me, like she did. The medical staff downstairs, said that I was fine. And I feel okay, just…" I stopped her, holding up a hand.
"It's perfectly fine. I'm glad to hear that there aren't any injuries. However, I can still help you, so you don't feel as sore, any longer." I said.
"You can? Great." I stood up, walked over to the door that connected the rooms, and slowly pulled it open. From my bag, on the dresser, I got the bottle of oil that I'd used, back when I gave Kaorah her first massage.
"Someone's going to have a good night." I heard Kaorah comment. "You going to give her a happy ending, too?" I felt my face heat up, just a little bit.
"A what?" Solais asked. I noticed Mewtwo's absence, though the sound of running water, explained it.
"Nothing you need to worry about." Kaorah replied.
"You get a massage tonight, too, ya know." I told her. "Plus happy ending." Kaorah's response was to nuzzle me.
"You really know how to improve my mood, don't you?" She asked. "Still, hope you enjoy that massage." That was directed at Melanie. I feel like I should ask Mewtwo if he wants one, as well. I bet he'd enjoy it. I didn't hear whatever Melanie said to Kaorah, in response.
"This…massage thing. Could I have one, too?" Solais asked. Seems like everybody wants one tonight, I guess. Pidgey's the only one who hasn't asked by now. And Mewtwo hasn't been asked, yet.
"Sure, if you want one. I've got to go tend to Melanie, first. Then I'll get you ladies, once I'm done with her." I went back into Melanie's room, shutting the door behind myself as I passed through.
"I need you to lay down, for me." Melanie did as she was asked, finding a position she could get comfortable with. It is some relief that the chest spike is actually soft, not solid. It is still very sensitive to touch, though.
"Can the dress come off?" I asked her.
"No, it can't. It's a part of us, if you weren't aware." I nodded.
"That's fine. Though, a spell I have can anthrofy a Pokemon." I don't even know what affect it would have on a Gardevoir. "It might make it removable, but you would have to remember to put it back on." I told her.
"Maybe…later. I don't feel comfortable having my body changed like that." That's fine. I got onto the bed, then carefully straddled her. I opened the bottle, and then squeezed some of its contents out, into my left palm. Snapped it shut and set it aside, then began to rub my hands together.
"This is going to feel very cool, at first. But, you'll enjoy it, I promise." I then pressed my hands down on her back, firmly. I started at her shoulders, much like I had with Kaorah, previously.
"Mmmm…" She moaned, quietly. "Just…be careful." I nodded. I didn't have to worry about whether or not she saw that. As I began to slowly work my way downwards, I listened to the soft sounds she made in response. I could see a faint blush on her cheeks, and I'm not surprised about it, either. This sort of contact is quite intimate, so it can be expected.
I decided to work down her arms first, before I did her back. Her eyes slowly closed, a soft smile appearing as I worked. Her arms didn't take too long. They did feel tense, though it wasn't too bad. Her upper back was next. I pressed down, moving my hands in small, slow circles. I felt her relax below me.
I carefully worked around what was part of the spike in her chest, never once touching it. I knew when I was hitting a good spot, as she leaned up into my touch, as best she could. The sounds of her enjoyment had quieted, though she was still awake. I moved down her waist, paying attention to her sides, as well as her mid to lower back. I couldn't help a small smile, as she let out what sounded like a purr. I was hitting around where she felt the most sore, even if it was on the opposite side of her body.
"Now, this is up to you. I can do your legs, and then, if you want it, you can roll over and allow me to do a full body massage, rather than just your back." I offered her.
"My legs, but…you watch where your hands go, and, I'm not going to take a full massage. Not now, anyway. I already feel much better." She answered.
"Very well. We're almost done then." I finished with her back, then skipped downwards to about half way down her legs, avoiding any spot she didn't want me to touch. I didn't miss the deepening of the blush on her cheeks. The fact she was allowing at least this much, was a great sign of trust. It didn't take long to finish her legs.
"And…all done. How do you feel?" I asked her. I'd already gotten off of her so I could work on her legs, for what she'd allow, anyway.
"Much, much better. Thank you." She sat up, before moving to the end of the bed and standing, stretching once she had. "You're going to have to give me one of those again."
"I'd be glad to. If we ever have a long day, I'm more than happy to give you one." She smiled.
"Well, I appreciate it. Still, you should go take care of your mate. I'm going to go and get myself a shower. See you tomorrow morning." She paused long enough to share a quick hug, which I returned.
"And you, as well." We pulled away, then she went into her personal bathroom. I'd gotten her things to use, for herself. A quick explanation of how to work a shower was the only other thing she needed.
Of course, Pokemon don't really need such things. It just so happens that they'd picked it up from me. Solais and Pidgey were the only ones who didn't get in on it, for their own reasons.
"So, how did it go?" Kaorah asked.
"Great. She enjoyed it. Melanie's in her own shower now." I saw that Mewtwo had finished his. I put the massage oil back in my bag. "Come on. We've gotta get that dust off your scales." I went for the bathroom, and she followed behind.
