Time skip - internship first day :--
TRRRRRING....
"UGHHH----SHUTT UP DUMBASS" Jennifer said, waking up from the sound of the alarm ringing and roaming her one hand on the night stand in order to find the alarm clock.
After successfully turning off the alarm clock, she went inside her bathroom and did her morning routine. She came out of the bathroom wearing a white bathrobe with her hair in a towel. She went towards her cupboard and took out a white shirt, a red pencil skirt and a red coat. After wearing her clothes, she dried her hair and did a high ponytail.
"JENN! Come down, breakfast is ready." her mother said, calling her for breakfast.
"COMING, MOM!" Jennifer replied.
Jennifer went down and greeted her parents, "Good morning, Mom! Good morning, Dad!"
"Good morning, baby." Her parents said, greeting her back.
She ate her food and went to the shoe rack to pick up a pair of red flat slilettos. She took her handbag and bid goodbye to her parents.
"Bye Mom and Dad."
"Bye Jenn! Do your best. Good luck!" her parents wished her good luck and bid their goodbyes in return.
First she went to Mia's house, as they both decided to go together.
"Oh my God! You look so nice in formals." Mia said, coming out of her room in the same colour and same type of clothes as Jennifer (#bffgoals).
"Oh, please! You yourself look nice too."
Just then, Mia's father came out of his room.
"Hello Uncle Jones! Good morning." Jennifer said, smiling brightly.
"Hello Jenn! Good morning." Mia's father said and patted Jennifer's head.
Mia and her father have their breakfast.
"Both of you! Come with me. I'll drop you at your company on the way to my work place." Mia's father said while picking his car keys from the keyholder.
Mia, her father and Jennifer sat in the car and left for their destinations.
Time skip - half an hour later :--
They both reached their destination. They both bid goodbye to Mr. Jones. They both looked at the 40-floor tall building and then each other. They both showed thumbs up to each other and said together, "WE CAN DO IT." while bumping their fists.
They both enter and go directly to the receptionist.
"Excuse me!" Jennifer said.
"Yes? How may I help you?" Noticing both of them, the receptionist said politely.
"Actually, we're here for an internship, so can you please tell us where we have to go?" Mia asked politely.
"Ok! First, may I know your names please?" the Receptionist said, looking at both of them.
"I am Jennifer Wilson."
"I am Mia Jones."
"Ohk! Wait.", the Receptionist said and picked up the telephone from her desk.
She dials a number and when the other line responds, she says, "Hello! Good morning Sir! Sorry for disturbing you. There are these two girls for internship."
"Their names." The person on the other side asks.
"Sir, Jennifer Wilson and Mia Jones," the receptionist replies.
"Ok! Send them to my cabin with my assistant." The other line says and hangs up before the receptionist could say something.
"Ok....sir."
She again dials a number, and says, "Emma! Please come to the reception area."
After a few minutes, a girl with tight clothes and loads of makeup comes and stops by the reception.
"Hey! Why is she looking like a makeup cake and why is she wearing kid's clothes?" Mia whispers to Jennifer, while looking at that girl up and down.
"Shut up! Don't speak like that, otherwise they will throw us out." Jennifer whispers back.
Mia shut her mouth and stood there like she never spoke anything.
"Yes! Tell me, why did you call me, and please speak fast, I've got a lot of other work left to do." Emma says rudely and rolls her eyes.
"Well..... That was rude." Mia again whispered to Jennifer.
"I agree." Jennifer says, nodding her head.
The receptionist tells Emma about Mia and Jennifer. First, Emma eyes both of them with a judging look, as if they both came from a trashcan, and she is the only one clean there.
"Ok! Girls, follow me." Emma says, walking away like she owns the building, without even greeting back the employees, who were greeting her nicely.
"From where does she bring this much attitude." Mia mutters under her breath.
But the receptionist hears her and says, "Don't mind her. She's just like that, she always thinks so high of herself because she's the CEO's assistant."
"Oh! That's why. By the way, thanks for your help. We should go otherwise, who knows what she'll do." Jennifer said, still looking at Emma who was walking towards the lift, walking like a model.
"Yeah! You're right, you both should go. Good luck!!" the Receptionist says and smiles.
"Thanks!! Have a nice day." Jennifer and Mia thanked the receptionist and hurriedly go behind Emma to match her pace. The lift doors open and Emma enters first, Jennifer and Mia enter after her. They both go and stand behind Emma. Emma presses the floor 38 button.
Jennifer and Mia (in mind) : Why is all the CEO's cabins always on the highest floor?
After a few minutes, the lift stops and all of them come out of the lift. There was a door with the CEO's room written on it. Emma told Jennifer and Mia to sit on the bench kept outside the room.
"Hey Jenn!! I have a question."
"Ask."
"Why is every CEO's room on the highest floor?? I mean, like, haven't you read those BTS fanfictions?"
"I was wondering about that too."
Meanwhile, in the cabin :--
"Sir! They are both here." Mia tells the person sitting in front of her on the CEO's chair.
"Ok! Send them in." He says, then thinks about something and again says, "No!! First send Ms. Jennifer in."
He smirked, looking at his computer screen that was showing the CCTV footage of the corridor outside the cabin.
"Okay T-"
"Ms. Emma!! For your kind information, I'm your boss, not your friend. So stay within your limits."
"Ok sir. Sorry sir." Emma says and walks out of the cabin embarrassed.
"Ms. Jennifer!! You may go in. Ms. Mia, you'll be going after she comes out."
Emma informs both Mia and Jennifer.
"Okay!!" Both of them replied.
"All the best, Jenn!!" Mia says.
"Thanks!!"
Jennifer opens the door of the cabin.
"Sir!! May I come in?" Jennifer asks after knocking twice on the door.
"Yes Ms. Jennifer."
On being permitted, Jennifer enters the cabin. But the CEO was facing back.
"Good morning! Mr. Williams." Jennifer politely greets Mr. Williams.
"Good morning to you too, Ms. Jennifer." The CEO says turning around.
"YOU!" Jennifer shouts.
