Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The World Beyond

The interface shifted as the divine light faded from the newly upgraded palace. Several new construction options quietly unfolded before him:

[New Construction Options Unlocked]

Residential Quarters (Requires Blueprint)

Resource Processing Structures (Locked)

Defensive Structures (Locked)

Special Divine Buildings (Locked)

Blueprints required for construction. Can be acquired via Trade, Quests, or Divine Chests.

The palace layout had also changed:

[Seedling Sanctum – Interior Layout]

Main Hall: Active

Lord's Bedroom: Active

Auxiliary Rooms: None (Expansion Possible)

Clark stepped inside. The palace was simple but dignified now. Smooth stone floors reflected the faint glow of the etched vine-like patterns that climbed the walls — a reflection of his Verdant Domain. It smelled faintly of fresh greenery, despite no plants in sight.

The main hall was empty, save for a raised stone dais where his simple throne sat. The lord's bedroom behind it was equally modest — a wooden bed, a desk, and a few storage shelves. Just enough for now.

He pulled up the interface again.

[World Chat – Activated]

Instantly, the entire global chat flooded his vision. It was worse than the regional chat — ten times more chaotic.

[World Chat – Divine Continent Global]

[DragonSlayerX]: My dragon pool's crazy! Black Dragons, first summon C-rank!

[SilverSaint]: Wood Elf pool unlocked. Two pious followers on first pull.

[IronFist]: Orc Warriors! C-Class frontline. Solid start.

[NightBane]: All villagers. Fantastic.

[SkyEmpress]: Phoenix Scions pool! This faith gain is absurd!

[BloodEmperor]: Undead supremacy. No need for food or rest.

[StarPiercer]: Any way to improve believer loyalty fast?

[DarkLord999]: Trade area's open and it's already a bloodbath.

[ShadowFox]: Buying blacksmith blueprint. Name your price.

[VoidHunter]: Barely missed top 10. Wooden chest was a joke.

Clark's eyes moved across the messages, absorbing bits and pieces of information.

Many gods had already unlocked powerful pools. The pools defined their path — elves, dragons, phoenixes, undead, orcs. The lucky ones had rare or specialized pools; others were stuck with villagers or low-grade fighters.

The Trade Area was open, prices were rising quickly, and blueprints were in demand. Faith, blueprints, resources, even divine crystals were already flowing like currency between gods.

[Trade Area – Activated]

Universal Will moderates trades for balance. All transactions are final.

Clark examined the Trade Area interface carefully. Multiple tabs lined up across his vision:

Building Blueprints, Military, Special Area, Open Trade, and Auction.

The two primary currencies were clear: Divine Crystals and Divinity.

One Divinity was equivalent to 1,000 Divine Crystals. However, crystals could not be converted back into Divinity, making Divinity far more valuable. Most lords barely had any left after their initial ascension.

He selected the Special Area first. A small window expanded, revealing its exclusive listings:

Special Area Trade

Pool Enhancement Token (x1): 1000 Divinity

Used to upgrade a recruitment pool to the next tier.

Special Ability: Divine Eye: 1000 Divinity

Grants the ability to analyze creatures, buildings, and items in detail.

Unknown Temple Blueprint: 5000 Divinity

A mysterious temple said to attract unknown followers.

Divine Soil (Tier 2): 500 Divinity

Enhances crop growth and natural resources within the Domain.

Hero Equipment Set: 2000 Divinity

Includes a full set of gear for one hero, boosts combat capabilities.

Clark's gaze paused at each option. The prices were steep. As expected, very few could afford any of these at this stage. His own wealth in Divinity was abnormal thanks to his Divine Multiplier.

He switched over to the Military Area.

Military Trade

Here, multiple options appeared:

Recruitment Books: Sold in varying grades, from Common to Epic.

Skill Books:

Normal Skills

Immortal Skills

Origin Skills

Divine Skills

Each skill type had strict learning limitations depending on god rank. For now, as a Rank 1 Low-Tier God, he could learn two skills. Every time he ranked up, an additional skill slot would unlock.

His believers, including heroes, could also learn skills — though only one per rank unless special conditions were met.

Clark browsed slowly, weighing the options while considering his resources. He had a unique advantage, but even so, spending Divinity recklessly was dangerous. Every point mattered for his long-term growth.

Balance:

Divinity: 9,900

Divine Crystals: 998,900

Clark stared at the Special Area interface, tapping his finger lightly. Every single item was useful for his early growth. Normally, this would be madness — but thanks to his Divine Multiplier, his reserves were enough.

He made his decision.

Purchase: Pool Enhancement Token – 1000 Divinity

Purchase: Special Ability (Divine Eye) – 1000 Divinity

Purchase: Unknown Temple Blueprint – 5000 Divinity

Purchase: Divine Soil (Tier 2) – 500 Divinity

Purchase: Hero Equipment Set – 2000 Divinity

One by one, the purchases processed instantly.

A soft divine chime rang out as each item materialized in his inventory, sealed within small glowing cubes. The moment he acquired the Divine Eye, a strange pulse went through his mind — his perception sharpened instantly.

[Special Ability Acquired: Divine Eye]

Allows detailed analysis of creatures, structures, skills, and items.

His balance dropped sharply, but he was still satisfied.

Remaining Resources:

Divinity: 400

Divine Crystals: 998,900

Clark reviewed his haul carefully.

The Pool Enhancement Token would allow him to raise his Banished Crusader pool to the next tier, increasing both the number and strength of followers he could summon weekly.

The Unknown Temple Blueprint — mysterious and intriguing — might attract special believers once constructed.

The Divine Soil (Tier 2) would boost his resource output and agricultural growth once placed into his territory.

The Hero Equipment Set would immediately strengthen Seraphiel, making her even more formidable.

And the Divine Eye — that alone was priceless.

The purchases finished, Clark returned to the main Trade Area interface. His wealth had dropped significantly, but his Domain was about to take another massive leap forward.

After clearing his Special Area purchases, Clark opened the Building Section, fully aware that managing his population would soon become a priority.

The list of Residential Blueprints appeared before him:

Residential Blueprints

Basic Structures (Reusable — can be built multiple times, max 10 times each)

Basic Hut Blueprint – 500 crystals

Capacity: 1 follower

Slightly improves daily loyalty increase.

Wooden Cabin Blueprint – 2000 crystals

Capacity: 3 followers

Minor loyalty bonus, slightly improves faith generation speed.

Stone House Blueprint – 5000 crystals

Capacity: 5 followers

Provides stability to residents, better resistance to disasters or events.

Small Manor Blueprint – 20,000 crystals

Capacity: 10 followers

Provides prestige; followers housed here gain faster loyalty progression.

Special Structures (One-time use Blueprints — powerful but limited)

Village Blueprint – 100,000 crystals

Instantly creates a structured small village.

Capacity: 20 followers.

Adds small market area and minor automatic faith generation bonus.

Noble District Blueprint – 250,000 crystals

Capacity: 50 followers.

Significantly increases faith output from housed followers.

Provides minor domain prestige and population growth buff.

Holy Sanctuary Blueprint – 500,000 crystals

Capacity: 100 followers.

Automatically converts residents into Pious category after time.

Dramatically boosts faith accumulation.

The system added a note under the interface:

"Note: Higher-grade residential structures contribute significantly to faith output and loyalty growth. Expansion of population housing directly affects long-term divine power."

Clark rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"So I'll need both mass capacity and loyalty acceleration if I want to scale fast."

Clark's eyes hovered over the list of blueprints. Many lords would start small — cabins, huts, maybe a stone house or two — but his gaze locked onto the most expensive option.

Holy Sanctuary Blueprint — 500,000 crystals.

Capacity: 100 followers.

Automatically converts residents into Pious category after time.

Dramatically boosts faith accumulation.

It was outrageously expensive. For most gods at this stage, such a structure was a distant dream. But with his current resources and his Divine Multiplier, Clark had the means.

"Faith is everything," he whispered. "And this… is worth it."

Without hesitation, he confirmed the purchase.

Transaction Completed:

-500,000 Divine Crystals

Holy Sanctuary Blueprint x1 acquired.

Remaining Balance:

Divine Crystals: 498,900

Divinity: 400

The scroll-like blueprint materialized in his inventory, radiating soft divine light.

Clark smiled faintly.

"With this, my faith production will snowball far faster than others."

He resisted the urge to immediately build it — for now, planning was crucial. He would place it strategically once his territory expansion stabilized.
