Chapter 6 - Origins of the Black Something Sect

Many years ago, the Black Something Sect wasn't always called that. In fact, it had once held a proud name the Black Thunder Dragon Sect named after its powerful founders, Alex's parents. It was a sect renowned for its combat prowess and fierce cultivators, born from the blood and sweat of those who had fought against the demonic beasts that threatened to overrun the world. But now, the name was only a whisper of a forgotten past, lost to time and tragedy.

Alex's mother and father had once been prominent figures in the Black Thunder Dragon Sect. They were cultivators of incredible skill, leaders in the defense of the world against the demonic invasion. Together, they had built the sect from nothing, leading their disciples with strength, wisdom, and an unyielding sense of duty. They fought alongside their comrades, bravely standing in the frontlines to protect the people. But despite their heroic status, their deaths came suddenly, in battle. It was an event that left a deep scar in the world, one that would forever change the course of Alex's life.

Before their final battle, Alex's parents had left him in the care of a trusted elder an old, drunken master who went by the name of Master Gongzu. Though he was a cultivator in his prime, by the time Alex was born, he had long since given in to his vices. With a fondness for alcohol and a carefree attitude, Master Gongzu was ill-equipped for the responsibility of raising a child let alone a child who was destined to become the heir of a great sect. And so, it was with neglect that Alex was raised under the master's care.

Master Gongzu, despite being an accomplished martial artist in his youth, had long since lost interest in the day-to-day tasks of sect management. His days were filled with wine, gambling, and a heavy dose of apathy. He only had one job take care of Alex and his sister, Mia Kai. But his neglectful ways would come back to haunt them.

Mia Kai was only a child, but she was sharp and mature for her age. At just 13, she understood the situation better than anyone else. She was the one who noticed when Master Gongzu disappeared into his drunken stupors, leaving Alex alone in their small, dilapidated home. She was the one who made sure they had enough food to eat when there was nothing but scraps left in the kitchen. She was the only one who truly understood her brother, and the only one who cared enough to look out for their future.

But Mia's devotion to Alex and the sect would soon lead her down a dangerous path. At the tender age of 13, after realizing Master Gongzu's neglect would do nothing to help their situation, Mia made the bold decision to venture out on her own. She left their home in search of opportunities, seeking out any chance to support their family, their sect, and most importantly, her brother. She did everything she could to improve their living conditions whether it was gathering herbs, trading scraps, or even searching for powerful cultivators who could help them rise from the ashes.

Then came the news the devastating news that would change everything.

Five years after Alex's parents had gone to fight in the great war against the demonic beasts, a message was delivered. Their parents had died in battle, protecting the world from the demonic forces. It was a heroic death, and the world was forever grateful to them. In recognition of their sacrifice, the world offered the remaining family members a reward: land to build a sect, and a sum of money to support it.

But the reward, the recognition, and the land none of it mattered to Alex. His parents were gone, and Mia, his only real family, was out there somewhere. When the news came, Alex shy, withdrawn, and deeply affected by the years of neglect didn't know how to act. His uncle, a man of far less ambition and far more selfishness, was the one who received the money. While the world offered their support and recognition, the uncle took the reward, not for the sake of building a future for the sect, but to indulge in his own pleasures.

The money was spent on beer and other indulgences. The land was his, granted to him because of his family's status. He had no interest in cultivating the sect, in taking up the mantle of leadership. But there it was a piece of land, a potential legacy that Alex's uncle had squandered without even considering it.

For Alex, though, it was a bitter reality. He wasn't ready to lead, and he was too shy to take the responsibility. But the land was there, and as useless as it seemed, it was his inheritance. It was all that was left.

And so, the once-great Black Thunder Dragon Sect was reduced to something far more humble a forgotten memory of what could have been. Alex, unsure of himself and his place in the world, couldn't bring himself to even think about rebuilding it. Instead, he took the name "Black Something Sect," an almost sarcastic gesture a quiet rebellion against the burden he didn't know how to carry. It was a reflection of his own uncertainty. He didn't have the power, the knowledge, or the courage to continue his parents' work.

Instead, Alex tried to live as best as he could. He had a home, a few scraps of food, and the faintest hope that maybe one day, he'd be able to stand tall and find his way. But for now, he would remain in his little corner of the world, hidden and forgotten by the rest of the world.

And so, the Black Something Sect came to be.

Back in the present day, things had changed. The sect was still small, with only a handful of disciples, and even fewer prospects for growth. But Alex's life, like the sect itself, was about to change in ways he couldn't predict. He had a long way to go, but at least for now, there were people who believed in him people who would follow him, even when he couldn't see his own potential.

At last looking at his desiples laying down like there is no tomorrow they are sleeping like the world don't matter made him remember his parents
