"System," Kael gasped, vaulting over a garden hedge, "evac protocol. Now!"

"Teleport! Teleport me anywhere—heck, I'll take the middle of a volcano—"
[ERROR: All escape methods disabled until Harem Stability reaches 70%. Current: 13%. Dangerously low.]
Kael stopped mid-run, panting. "Thirteen?! Are you serious?! That's not even a D grade! That's worse than my old math scores!"
Suddenly, vines burst from the soil, coiling around his ankles.
"Wha—?!"
From the shadows, Vivienne stepped out, holding a glowing herb charm. Her eyes sparkled with an unholy mix of cute and crazy.
"Kael~ You shouldn't run from love. Didn't you like my cookies? I put my hair in them... just like you asked!"
"I never asked that!!"
The vines surged.
Kael broke free using raw panic, barreling back into the dorm buildings. He burst through a laundry room window and rolled onto the marble floor like an action hero gone horribly wrong.
But fate wasn't done laughing yet.
He looked up...
And saw Iris leaning against the hallway wall in gym wear, sweat glistening on her abs, her toned legs glimmering like war machines sculpted for dominance.
"Oh? Running this late?" she purred. "I love it when my prey has stamina."
Kael screamed and took off the other direction.
Meanwhile, in the "Obsession Control Room"...
A massive ethereal space constructed by the System shimmered above the academy. Inside sat all the other girls, tracking Kael's movements in real-time like generals in a war room.
Clara spun her thread around a map projection. "Sector B-6, possible escape route. Block it."
Luna yawned. "How long are we letting him run?"
Lady Ravynne stirred her tea. "Let the boy struggle. It makes the surrender so much sweeter."
Aria grumbled. "This is ridiculous. We look like stalker demons."
Selene raised an eyebrow. "You are a stalker demon."
Aria flushed. "That's… that's different! I'm elegant about it!"
Back on campus…
Kael thought he was clever when he found a teacher's unused office, locked the door, and pushed a bookcase in front of it.
He collapsed on the floor.
"Okay… okay. Deep breaths. You're not crazy. They're crazy. I'm the normal one... right?"
He heard breathing behind him.
Kael turned slowly.
In the corner of the room stood the maid, her eyes like polished obsidian, lips curled in serene madness.
"...You left a sock in the garden," she whispered.
Kael's scream echoed across three dormitories.
Cut to: Five minutes later
Kael was tied to a chair.
Again.
"Why is it always chairs?!"
The girls had convened.
All seven obsessions were now present—a circle of insanity around Kael's sweat-drenched, tear-streaked body.
Luna patted his cheek lovingly. "You poor thing~ You tried so hard."
Clara hummed. "He has such adorable scream-pitch variance."
Vivienne: "Let's make him cookies for his effort!"
Kael: "I want cookies that don't have DNA in them."
Eva growled, shadowy flames leaking from her eyes. "Okay. We need to stop pretending this is normal."
"FINALLY," Kael gasped. "Someone sane!"
Eva pointed at the other girls. "We're all trying to win him over the wrong way."
Kael: "Wait, what—"
Eva stood proudly. "We need to start an official Yandere Tournament."
Kael: "I immediately take back what I said."
Aria facepalmed. "A… what now?"
Lady Ravynne smiled. "Oh my~ What kind of tournament, darling?"
Eva's eyes gleamed. "Challenges. Trials. Obsession duels. Winner gets him. One-on-one. Until we're down to one final yandere."
Luna raised her hand. "Are murder spells allowed?"
"Only light maiming," Eva said helpfully.
Kael looked like he was about to die.
[SYSTEM EVENT UNLOCKED!]
"Trial of Obsessions: The Yandere Games Arc" has begun.
Event Duration: Until Only One Remains.
Winner: Receives Full Contract. All Others… will be reset.
Everyone went quiet.
"Reset?" Clara whispered. "As in… memory wipe?"
Lady Ravynne's cup cracked in her hand. "They want to erase us if we lose."
Aria's eyes narrowed. "So this isn't just for Kael anymore. This is war."
Kael: "PLEASE DON'T START A YANDERE WAR OVER ME—"
Luna kissed his forehead. "You'll be the trophy, Kael~ Just relax and shine."
Kael fainted.
