Chapter 21 - 21 Brave explorer

East Sea, as the weakest among the four seas, has much weaker currents, rarely experiencing hurricanes or giant waves. However, there is a place where a huge current exists, which is the entrance to the Grand Line, the reverse mountain.

Here, at the entrance to the Grand Line, the nearby currents strangely surge up the reverse mountain, forming a special climbing sea current on the mountain.

The enormous current and the violent magnetic field create fierce storms here, with waves constantly crashing against the mountain, forming a thick fog.

On this day, a ship of moderate size was approaching from afar, gradually nearing the reverse mountain.

"We've finally arrived." Listening to the distant roar of the waves crashing, Nami stood at the bow of the ship, shouting excitedly.

"Mountain Chicken, steady the helm, I don't want us to end up with a shipwreck and casualties," Albert said calmly as he looked at the huge reverse mountain.

"Yes, Boss Albert!" Chicken hurried to stabilize the helm.

"Albert, what is that?" Nami pointed at the wreckage in the distance, surprised.

"Those are debris of the ships that were unable to enter the Grand Line," Albert looked at the storm near the reverse mountain, feeling emotional yet reminding, "Near the reverse mountain, there are huge, violent multi-directional currents. When the ship enters the entrance, if not careful, it can be swept off course by the currents and crash into the mountain, leading to shipwreck and loss of life."

Nami's face turned pale, stammering, "Ww-what should we do?"

"That depends on you," Albert smiled at Nami.

Nami thought for a moment, her face suddenly changing to a resolute and calm expression: "Chicken, fold the sails, reduce power. We don't need the sails' power now; the currents are enough for us to enter the Grand Line. I will observe the direction, Albert, you and Chicken steer the ship."

"Yes, Big Sister Nami!"

"Okay, Nami!"

The sound of the huge currents crashing and the raging storm made Albert and his crew feel deeply tense and cautious, carefully observing the currents around the reverse mountain.

"Damn it, it's fog. Albert, do your best to control the helm. The currents here are just too strong," Nami said angrily as she looked at the thick fog ahead.

"Understood, Nami!"

"No problem, Big Sister Nami."

"Full left!"

"Full right!"

"Good, keep the course, we're about to enter the entrance of the reverse mountain."

"Quick, full right!"

"Yes, Nami."

*Crack...*

"Big Sister Nami, it's not good! The helm is broken! What should we do now?"

"What!" Nami exclaimed in shock, hurriedly checking the distance to the entrance and the ship. After observing the distance, she suddenly became frantic and shouted loudly, "No, Albert, we're just a little off. The ship is about to hit the mountain!"

"Don't worry, I'll handle it," Albert said, then jumped off the ship with a moonwalk, flying to the side of the ship, using both hands forcefully, and then stepping on the moon step again to try to correct the direction.

The huge current drained all of Albert's strength just to push the ship a few meters away.

Accelerating with the moon step, Albert unleashed his full potential, employing martial art strength, borrowing force, and once again adjusting the ship's course, but it still couldn't avoid the fate of crashing into the reverse mountain.

"Chicken, quickly use the barrier fruit to wrap the ship, don't let it directly hit the mountain," Albert shouted calmly.

"Yes, Boss!" Bartolomeo quickly used his fruit ability to cover one side of the ship, preventing it from being damaged by the mountain.

The ship rapidly approached the entrance of the Grand Line, but as it neared, it still deviated slightly.

Bang...

Bartolomeo's barrier collided violently with the mountain. He felt a tremendous force transmitted through his barrier, almost causing it to break.

Bartolomeo trembled, veins bulging on his forehead, gritting his teeth and growling, "Damn it, hold on! I will complete the task the boss gave me."

At this moment, Albert stood on the reverse mountain, finally finding a place to leverage, his internal energy wildly circulating, employing Tai Chi strength with all his might.

"Open up!" he roared.

Creak...

With Albert's furious shout, the twisting sound of wood echoed, and the ship was finally stabilized.

Splash...

Exhausted Bartolomeo, after the ship was stabilized, released his barrier ability and collapsed onto the deck with a thud.

Bang bang...

Amidst a burst of explosion, Albert stepped back onto the ship using the moonwalk, looking at the ascending ship with a surging heart.

"We're here at the Grand Line!"

Nami was also excited, shouting along with Albert, "We're here..."

Albert helped Bartolomeo up, and the three of them stood at the bow, watching the rising ship path: "Nami, Bartolomeo, we're about to enter the Grand Line. From now on, we will make a name for ourselves in the world, and let the world be amazed by us!"

"Yes, boss! Boohoo..." Bartolomeo was moved to tears again.

Nami smiled sweetly, hugging Albert, and said, "I will always stay with you, be your lifelong navigator!"

Albert laughed heartily, teasing, "And a wife for life!"

Nami blushed and slapped at Albert.

Next to them, Bartolomeo was forcibly fed some dog food by Albert and Nami, feeling depressed and muttered, "Boss, I'm still here. Don't keep feeding us single dogs, okay?"

Albert kicked Bartolomeo aside with his foot, jokingly scolding, "Go away, go away. If you have the ability, find someone too."

Bartolomeo squatted nearby, the surroundings turning grayish-white, continuously drawing circles on the ground with his finger: "Single dog, no rights! As a single dog, I feel like I might die!"

...

"By the way, Albert, what's the name of our ship?" Nami suddenly changed the subject, ignoring Bartolomeo.

Albert was stunned for a moment, stroked his chin, and said, "You didn't say, I forgot. My ship doesn't have a name yet. Let's give it one now."

Bartolomeo heard the name and immediately put aside the single dog matter, quickly ran to Albert's side and said: "Boss, I think the ship's name should be Albert explorer."

"Not good, Albert, I think it should be called Orange explorer."

"Boss, call it Albert explorer!"

"Albert, call it Orange explorer!"

...

"Alright!" Albert shouted: "Stop arguing, I've thought of a name. Since we are adventurers, let's call it Brave Explorer."

"Brave Explorer?"

Nami and Bartolomeo kept repeating the ship's name.

Nami laughed: "Good, brave in exploration, discovering the unknown, we'll call it Brave Explorer."

Bartolomeo flattered Albert, saying: "We are the brave ones, fearless of hardships and dangers, heading towards the endless unknown. Not unworthy of my boss. Boss, our ship will be called Brave Explorer. Although I think it's a bit inferior to Albert explorer, as the boss says, I have to obey."

After finalizing the name, "Brave Explorer" finally reached the top of the mountain.

The next moment, "Brave Explorer" left the water surface and fell downward, changing from climbing to diving.

Aoooooh~~~~

A huge whistle roar came.

"Boss Albert, Sister Nami, did you hear any animal roars?" Bartolomeo asked doubtfully.

Nami waved her hand, looking unconcerned, and said: "How could there be roars? It must be the sound of waves crashing."

"That's Laboon's voice!" Albert said lightly.

"What Laboon's voice? Albert, you must have heard wrong!" Nami still didn't believe.

"Ah, what is that?" Suddenly, Bartolomeo exclaimed, attracting Nami's attention.

Nami looked in the direction Bartolomeo was pointing and saw a black hill at the sea outlet ahead, over five hundred meters high. Nami looked carefully and realized it wasn't a mountain; it was a whale.

"Ah, what is that?" Nami shouted in shock.

"That's Laboon, the Island Whale Laboon, a poor guy." Albert sighed slightly.

"La... Laboon?" Nami involuntarily approached Albert and trembled: "It's so big, it won't eat us, right? I think we're not even enough to fill its teeth."

Albert hugged Nami and comforted: "It's okay, it's very gentle."

"Boss, what should we do?" Bartolomeo asked nervously.

"Do you see that lighthouse? Head towards there!" Albert pointed to the lighthouse confidently.

"Yes, boss!" Bartolomeo said and couldn't help but remind: "But, boss, our ship's rudder is broken."

"What... Σ(????)?" Albert completely forgot about the rudder.

The huge current carried the rudderless Brave Explorer, quickly rushing towards Laboon!

"Ahhhhhhhhhh..."
