Suhani's gaze drifted towards section B, searching for the familiar figure, Anshu Prasad.
His features weren't conventionally handsome, but his fair complexion and chiseled jawline commanded attention. However, it was his gorgeous beard that truly captivated Suhani - perfectly trimmed, with hints of chestnut brown that complemented his hard hair.
Khushi noticed her distraction. "Suhani, what's caught your attention?"
Suhani quickly looked away, feigning nonchalance. "Nothing..."
But Khushi's curiosity was piqued. "Is it Anshu Prasad? I've seen you staring at him" Suhani's cheeks flushed. "Don't be ridiculous Khushi.."
Khushi's grin hinted at amusement. I've never seen you interested in anyone. What's so special about him?"
Suhani shrugged, attempting to downplay.. "He's just.. different.."
As the teacher droned on, Suhani's thoughts wandered. What made Anshu tick? Why did he sit alone, detached from the world ?
After class, Suhani gathered her belongings, her eyes scanning the room. Anshu stood by the window of her class, lost in thoughts. Their eyes met, and Suhani felt a jolt. For a fleeting moment, she saw something in his gaze - a glimmer of understanding.
Anshu looked away breaking the connection, but his jaw clenched - as if fighting the urge to look back. Suhani's heart sank. Khushi nudged he. "Let's grab lunch.."
