Chiga stood at the bow, arms crossed, frowning as if deep in thought. Kalifa, seeing his expression, softly asked,
"What's wrong, Boss? Are you worried about this?"
"Hmm, it still doesn't feel secure enough. Never mind, I'll go ahead. You and Ain go inform Vice Admiral Tsuru and the others."
With the previous incident involving Zephyr as a lesson, Chiga felt he couldn't rely too heavily on information from the anime. His arrival had already altered the course of events far more than he expected.
With that, Chiga soared into the sky, flying toward Swallow Island.
On a nearby warship, Tsuru narrowed her eyes, watching Chiga gradually disappear into the horizon. She quietly murmured,
"I hope you succeed, Uchiha Chiga."

Corazon excitedly handed a heart-shaped fruit to Law. Things had gone smoothly so far—at least he hadn't been injured while stealing the fruit.
"Law! This is the Op-Op Fruit! The Marines are almost here, quickly eat it! Eating it will cure your Amber Lead Syndrome!"
Trafalgar D. Water Law, who would one day have a bounty of three billion Berries and become a powerful rookie who fought Kaido and then Blackbeard, was now just a small boy around twelve or thirteen, his face covered in pale patches.
Seeing Corazon more excited than himself, Law couldn't help but feel moved.
However, with his usual cold demeanor, he simply reached out to take the Op-Op Fruit—what to him was a fruit of life.
Just as Law's hand was about to touch the fruit, a blur shot through the space between them. The unseen force struck a rock behind them, splitting it cleanly in two, the cut as smooth as glass.
Startled, Corazon and Law froze. Corazon quickly turned in horror, and Law followed his gaze stiffly.
A tall man draped in a pink feathered coat approached with hands in his pockets—Corazon's brother, Doflamingo.
At this moment, his stride was still human, not yet bearing that arrogant flair he would later be known for.
He was accompanied by nine members of the Donquixote Family, including a young Baby 5 and others.
Veins bulged on Doflamingo's forehead. Normally he would be laughing with madness, but now his face was grim. He hadn't been this angry in years.
Corazon had just mentioned the Marines were almost here. But how did he know they had set out early?
Doflamingo himself only knew because of his spy—Vergo. That meant Corazon had been exposed.
Indeed, one thing Chiga had overlooked was Vergo's presence in the Marines. It had been too long since he watched the anime, and oversights were inevitable.
Although Vergo hadn't yet reached Swallow Island, he had already passed the information to Doflamingo.
Doflamingo might have overlooked Corazon giving the fruit to Law. If Law had eaten it, Doflamingo could've simply brainwashed him into becoming a puppet.
But if Corazon was truly a Marine… that was outright betrayal.
Clenching his fists in his pockets, Doflamingo stepped forward.
"Law, quickly eat this fruit!!"
Corazon shouted and was about to force the fruit into Law's mouth, but in the next second, Doflamingo appeared in a blur and stomped him into the ground, seizing the Op-Op Fruit.
"Mr. Corazon!!"
Law screamed and charged at Doflamingo, punching his legs in desperation.
"Don't touch the Young Master, brat."
A sticky substance appeared beneath Law's feet and wrapped up to his mouth, immobilizing him. Trebol had used his Sticky-Sticky Fruit to restrain him.
Ignoring Law, Doflamingo stared coldly at his brother beneath his foot.
"You really are a Marine spy, huh? My foolish brother... Do you know what happens to traitors?"
Despite the situation, Corazon showed no fear.
"You've lost everything that made you human. Nothing good will come from following you."
Doflamingo's expression darkened even further.
Unlike in the anime, where he had his men torture Corazon, here he pulled out a pistol and aimed it directly at his head.
"Mmph! Mmph!" Law struggled, desperately trying to scream, but he was completely restrained.
Corazon glanced at Law, regret in his eyes. He hadn't been able to make him eat the fruit. He could only hope Doflamingo might force it on him later.
But nothing happened.
Law's eyes were wide, staring above Corazon. The older man looked up.
Behind Doflamingo stood a Marine in a "Justice" coat—Chiga had arrived.
Looking calmly at the flamboyant man, Chiga said softly,
"You'd better not move."
Doflamingo sensed someone behind him. Without turning around, he muttered,
"A Marine?"
Chiga said nothing. Doflamingo scoffed and pulled the trigger.
Buzz!
A violent repulsive force exploded from behind him. Doflamingo was launched away, vanishing in the blink of an eye. The Op-Op Fruit dropped safely into Chiga's hand.
Examining it, Chiga muttered,
"I told you not to move. It's annoying having to control my power."
The Donquixote Family members were frozen, stunned. Trebol finally reacted and shouted in panic,
"You—you're that Marine Vice Admiral Chiga!?"
Chiga turned and gave the snot-covered man a cold look. In a blink, he was above Trebol, and smashed a powerful punch down.
Trebol didn't even scream. His body was crushed into a compact, trash-can-like shape.
"So noisy."
Chiga landed, looked at the mess with disgust, and kicked the Trebol-can far away. It vanished alongside Doflamingo.
In less than a minute, two powerful Donquixote officers were gone.
The remaining members panicked and rushed at Chiga. Even Baby 5 turned her arm into a weapon and fired.
Chiga didn't move. A terrifying aura burst from him, and everyone froze, then collapsed unconscious.
With his ocular abilities, he could've used a Shinra Tensei and killed them all. But some had valuable Devil Fruits. Even if he didn't need them, his Door-Door Space had plenty of storage.
Corazon and Law were both speechless—especially Corazon.
It was his first time seeing this mysterious new Vice Admiral in person. Before, he'd only seen him in the papers.
Now he watched as Chiga made Doflamingo vanish and crushed Trebol in a single hit. This strength was beyond his understanding.
After finishing off the enemies, Chiga approached Corazon, knelt, and checked his condition.
Satisfied that he was still intact, Chiga smiled and extended a hand.
"Nice to meet you, Lieutenant Commander Corazon."
