[Remaining Realization Points: 10,187]

"Turns out murder and arson do pay," Shigure muttered, glancing at the steadily rising Realization Points. This was the first time his total had broken five digits.

As the name implied, Realization Points could manifest anything he imagined — as long as it was external. They couldn't directly boost his strength.

For example, he couldn't just give himself Ōtsutsuki blood, but he could manifest a way to awaken that bloodline.

And how did he earn these points?

By making people believe his lies — the more emotional the response, the better.

The amount of Realization Points he earned was evaluated based on:

The methods of deception used — represented in his list of [Achievements].

"Crocodile Tears," "Honeyed Words," and "Bluffing Through" were all basic tricks he'd used before.

But "Throwing Myself Into the Game," "Serpent's Tongue," and "Truth in Falsehood" were high-level strategies — the ones used on Orochimaru.

The number and strength of targets — it was clearly harder to deceive someone like Orochimaru than a mere genin.

How deeply the targets believed the lie and how much emotional upheaval it caused.

When Shigure first arrived in this world and activated the system, his starter pack contained only 100 Realization Points.

Based on his testing, 1 point could manifest a refined kunai, a fingernail-sized piece of chakra-conductive metal, or a poorly made explosive tag.

100 points wasn't much — too few to manifest powerful jutsu or any bloodline limits. Basically worthless.

So, upon grasping the dire situation he was in, Shigure set his sights on Orochimaru.

Shigure knew his greatest asset wasn't those 100 points — it was his knowledge of this world.

At this point in the timeline, Orochimaru had lived through two ninja wars. His obsession with "truth" and his fear of "death" had grown into an all-consuming desire for immortality.

Just like how, later on, despite his body crumbling, Orochimaru would delay taking a new host just to wait for Sasuke.

And remember — Kabuto once broke him with a single line:

"If you don't take a new body now, you'll lose everything. Is that really okay?!"

For Orochimaru, losing everything was a greater fear than even his fixation on the Sharingan.

What he truly wanted wasn't immortality or eyes — it was everything: to master all jutsu and uncover the world's secrets.

To achieve that, he had to keep living. He needed stronger bloodlines.

So Shigure crafted a fake ancient scroll, filled with two parts fiction and eight parts truth, designed with an intricate sealing technique.

In reality, the back of the scroll was completely blank. Orochimaru couldn't "break" the seal — because Shigure hadn't even written that part yet.

Or rather, he had — but he didn't intend to let Orochimaru read it yet.

Everything Orochimaru saw was exactly what Shigure allowed him to see.

Even the act of letting Orochimaru steal the scroll and "Ōtsutsuki flesh" was staged — part of a plan to manipulate him further down the line.

The smarter and prouder someone was, the more convinced they were of their own judgment.

All of this had only cost Shigure 30 Realization Points — most of it spent on mimicking the seal. The "ancient" scroll's weathering only cost 1 point, and the so-called ancient secrets were pure invention.

The remaining 70 points went into manifesting a shell body — a flawless-looking corpse with no real essence.

This was the body Orochimaru referred to as "Ōtsutsuki flesh."

These two items, especially the scroll, shattered Orochimaru's worldview, skyrocketing Shigure's points in an instant.

Subsequent points were all poured into upgrading that shell body — transforming it over the years into something resembling an actual Ōtsutsuki body. He had spent over 10,000 points to create genuine-looking Ōtsutsuki organs.

However, this was modeled after the moon-dwelling Ōtsutsuki, not the alien ones.

True alien Ōtsutsuki — beings like the Sage of Six Paths — were on a whole different level. They weren't even the same species as regular shinobi.

"One hundred thousand points wouldn't be enough to create a real Ōtsutsuki body," Shigure mused.

Looking at the "5% Ōtsutsuki bloodline" listed on his panel, Shigure's eyes gleamed.

"When I manifested the organs, I used Ōtsutsuki Toneri as the genetic benchmark."

"Toneri had the purest Ōtsutsuki bloodline — even Urashiki called him 'kin,' unlike how he referred to Naruto or Sasuke as 'inferior species.' Aside from Kaguya, no one in the shinobi world had purer Ōtsutsuki blood."

Matching that bloodline was already pushing Shigure's limits.

Thankfully, the body he created had been custom-designed using his own frame as a template.

So when he transplanted the organs, they fit perfectly — triggering a complete biological metamorphosis.

Now, he just needed to figure out what level he had actually reached.

With that, Shigure got out of bed and walked into another room…

Time passed. The rain ceased. Dawn split the darkness, and dewdrops gleamed on the grass outside.

Konoha was still quiet at this hour, especially within the strict and hierarchical Hyuga Clan.

But suddenly, a loud, absurd laugh shattered the silence.

"Oho! What a perfect time to BLOOM in the SPRINGTIME OF YOUTH! Wahahahaha!"

The laughter echoed before the person even appeared, making the Hyuga sentries flinch.

Then they saw the green blur in the distance.

Bowl-cut hair. Thick black eyebrows. Red scarf. Forehead protector tied around the waist. Bandaged arms.

A bright green jumpsuit kicked up a storm of dust as he ran on his hands.

There was only one such man in all of Konoha.

Chūnin of Konoha — Might Guy.
