My Cruel Love
Arman, the mysterious owner of the company, has given Maya a private office - something no one else has ever had. As Maya faces new challenges, hidden eyes are watching her every move.
Arman: "Abir! Get the office in front of mine ready for Maya. And explain all the tasks to Miraj by today.
And Maya - you'll report every update of your work directly to me."
Maya: "Alright."
Arman left the room after giving his instructions. Abir turned to Maya and Miraj with a smile.
"Come on, let's get Maya's office ready. I'll give you both a quick tour afterward."
They nodded and followed him. First, Abir unlocked the small office directly across from Arman's and called someone from facilities to clean it. Then he began showing Maya and Miraj around the office.
Abir couldn't help but notice something strange.
Even though Disha is also a Head Designer, she had always worked with the rest of the design team - no private space.
But Arman just gave Maya her own office?
And even more surprising-
The wall between Arman's and Maya's office was glass. From Arman's side, he could clearly see Maya. But from her side, the glass looked like a mirror. No one else in the office knew this, because the glass was always covered by curtains in Arman's room.
That's what puzzled Abir.
Why had Arman kept that office unused for so long - only to suddenly give it to Maya?
As they continued the tour, it was already lunchtime. So Abir brought them to the cafeteria.
Everyone ordered their own meals and started eating.
Halfway through lunch, Abir's phone rang. Arman's name flashed on the screen.
He sighed and rubbed his forehead. Of course - lunch. They usually ate together in Arman's office. But today, being with Maya and Miraj, he'd completely forgotten.
Maya: "Everything okay? Who's calling?"
Abir: "It's nothing. Just Arman."
He answered the call. Arman's cold voice came through the line:
Arman: "You started lunch without me?"
They were seated in the far corner of the canteen. Abir looked up at a specific spot and chuckled nervously.
Abir: "Sorry, man. Totally slipped my mind."
He glanced toward a light fixture as if Arman could somehow see him from that direction.
Maya and Miraj noticed.
Miraj: "What's over there?"
Abir: "Nothing. Just. spacing out."
Miraj: "You looked like you were staring straight at Mr. Arman, like he was right there."
Abir: "I was just looking around while talking."
Arman: (firmly) "My lunch hasn't arrived yet. Make sure it gets here fast."
Abir: "Got it. I'll send it over right away."
Back in his office, Arman was sitting silently at his desk, watching live security footage on his laptop.
Nearly every corner of the office had hidden cameras - but no one knew that.
And right now, his eyes were locked on Maya.
The way she laughed and chatted with Miraj - it bothered him.
Why did she have to act so familiar with every guy? Wasn't Abir enough? Now Miraj too?
Abir ended the call and asked a staff member to take Arman's lunch upstairs.
The three of them continued eating casually.
A few minutes later, the waiter came back.
Waiter: "Sir, Mr. Arman's lunch wasn't delivered today."
Abir's eyes widened. He quickly called Ruby, the usual person who handled Arman's meals.
Ruby explained: Arman had granted her a month-long leave, and she had already left for her hometown.
And during her absence, Maya had been assigned to take care of her responsibilities.
Technically, that meant lunch was Maya's job now.
Abir looked at Maya, a bit uncertain.
Maya: "What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Abir: "Ruby's on leave. Arman told her to go home for a while. And apparently... she passed her duties to you."
Maya: (surprised) "Wait - what? I wasn't told anything about that. I was only asked to bring lunch yesterday. And today, I'm here at the office."
Abir realized Maya genuinely had no idea.
So he quickly instructed someone to bring Arman a meal from the cafeteria.
After lunch, he showed Maya to her office and got her settled in.
He also found a desk for Miraj and helped him get started.
Then, Abir headed to Arman's office.
Just as he entered, a delivery guy was placing food on the table. Once done, he quietly left.
Arman didn't even look up.
Abir sat down on the sofa across the room, unsure what to say.
Without looking at him, Arman muttered,
Arman: "So. no lunch for me today."
Abir stayed silent, simply nodding.
Arman continued eating without another word.
Abir sat awkwardly for a few seconds, then quietly walked out of the room.
To be continued..
He wasn't just watching. He was planning.
What will he do next?
