Chapter 16 - Self-Created Cultivation Method, Demon God Art

After leaving the Dean's office, Gu Yue Na took Yun Ze for a stroll around the academy to familiarize him with the environment.

The Sun Moon Royal Academy might not cover as much area as some large academies, as it only had three main building complexes, limiting its footprint.

However, its usable area was in no way inferior to those large academies.

With three main buildings and twelve auxiliary buildings, the total number of floors exceeded four hundred. Each floor had a usable area of over a thousand square meters, making the total area quite substantial.

Each of these buildings was a combination of soul tools and reinforced concrete, with a magnificent exterior concealing potential dangers.

The interior was also full of technology, including soul tool shell laboratories capable of withstanding bombardment from Level 8 fixed-mount cannons, and training grounds where Titled Douluo could battle.

Mecha exhibition halls, Battle Armor exhibition halls, virtual training rooms – everything that other academies could offer their students was available in these buildings.

"Where else do you want to see?" Gu Yue Na asked Yun Ze beside her.

The two were walking along a walkway between the buildings. Gu Yue Na had just finished showing Yun Ze the academy's library.

The library wasn't just one room, or even one floor, but five floors, located on the top five floors of one of the main buildings.

The books and materials stored on these five floors were the accumulation of the Sun Moon Royal Academy over the past ten thousand years.

The history of the Sun Moon Royal Academy exceeded ten thousand years. The reason there were only ten thousand years of books and materials was that the academy had suffered a devastating disaster ten thousand years ago.

The great explosion at that time caused the complete disappearance of the academy, which had a history of several thousand years. Not to mention books, not a single person survived.

After that incident, the Sun Moon Royal Academy couldn't even be said to have been severely weakened; it should be said to have been directly annihilated.

If not for the strong support from the royal family later, this academy might have vanished into the dust of history.

Except for the first floor, which was freely open, the other four floors required corresponding permissions to enter, with the top floor being the most restricted.

Gu Yue Na took Yun Ze around the first four floors. They couldn't enter the fifth floor with their current permissions.

Although Dean Xu Lin had promised Yun Ze free viewing rights, the fifth floor involved some top-secret documents and was not within the scope of free viewing.

To enter the fifth floor, even Dean Xu Lin had to submit an application, which had to be reviewed and approved by the academy's board of directors, and relevant documents had to be signed before entry was permitted.

Since he himself was subject to such restrictions, how could he have the right to grant entry qualifications to Yun Ze? "There's nothing else I particularly want to see, so I won't wander around anymore. Next, I plan to find a temporary place to stay outside and refine pills there," Yun Ze said.

What he cared about was the academy's library. Now that he had seen it, there was naturally no need to keep wandering.

"Is that all?" The smile on Gu Yue Na's face faded, and she nodded helplessly, saying, "Alright then, I'll see you out."

"Okay," Yun Ze nodded. The two walked forward. The gate they entered through was not far ahead.

"Oh right, what kind of pills are you going to refine?" Gu Yue Na asked curiously, tilting her head and looking at Yun Ze with her beautiful eyes.

Up until now, she had only seen Yun Ze refine Transformation Pills once. When he taught Bi Ji before, he only gave verbal guidance and didn't demonstrate with his hands.

Now that she heard Yun Ze was going to refine pills again, it immediately piqued her curiosity.

Seeing Gu Yue Na's curious look, Yun Ze couldn't help but chuckle, "It's nothing new, just ordinary Foundation Establishment Pills and Breakthrough Pills."

"Didn't that Fire Pattern Engraving Knife cost one hundred and thirty million? I can't just take the money Bi Ji and the others earned for nothing, so I'll refine some pills as compensation."

Gu Yue Na paused in her steps. She hadn't expected Yun Ze to be refining pills for this reason. She quickly said, "You don't need to do this. You've helped us a lot. If we're being honest, we owe you, not the other way around."

"You can use the money we earned however you want. Even if you use it all up, we won't say anything."

"After all, you taught us how to make money. Isn't it only right that you use the money?"

Yun Ze looked up at Gu Yue Na, saw the sincerity in her eyes, and smiled slightly, saying,

"Everyone has their own way of doing things. You might think it's only right for me to take it, but I don't think so."

"I don't have the habit of taking things for free from others. Only by refining some pills as compensation can I feel at ease."

"But..." Gu Yue Na wanted to say something else, but before she could open her mouth, she was interrupted by Yun Ze.

"Refining pills is a small matter for me. We don't need to argue too much about this issue," Yun Ze said.

Hearing Yun Ze say this, Gu Yue Na gave him a helpless look and said no more.

The two continued forward, and Yun Ze casually asked, "How is your cultivation of the Demon God Art that I gave you coming along?"

Hearing about the Demon God Art, a hint of excitement flashed in Gu Yue Na's eyes, but then it dimmed, and she said somewhat awkwardly,

"This Demon God Art is a bit too profound. It's very difficult to cultivate. I'm still stuck at the first layer... early stage."

Yun Ze stopped and turned his head to look at Gu Yue Na. The latter felt his gaze, and her cheeks flushed with shame.

"Circulate the Demon God Art, and don't resist my spiritual power," Yun Ze suddenly grabbed Gu Yue Na's hand and said calmly.

Being suddenly grabbed by the hand, Gu Yue Na's heart fluttered, and she instinctively wanted to break free, but knowing it was Yun Ze, she just quietly let him hold her.

She began to circulate the Demon God Art as Yun Ze instructed. The moment she did, she felt a spiritual force invading.

She suppressed the instinct to resist, allowing Yun Ze to feel her condition without hindrance.

She understood Yun Ze and knew his character. He would never do anything unfavorable to her at this time, or take the opportunity to pry into anything.

Yun Ze carefully felt the energy circulating within Gu Yue Na's body. After more than ten seconds, he released her hand.

"There's a problem with your cultivation. I'll help you correct it tomorrow. This way, your cultivation will be much smoother," Yun Ze said.

Knowing the problem Gu Yue Na was facing, it wasn't difficult to solve. It just required a little guidance.

The so-called Demon God Art was a cultivation technique he had created himself over the past few years by observing the circulation of soul power in soul beasts. It was a technique tailored specifically for soul beasts.

The technique had seven layers, and each layer was divided into early, middle, and late stages, encompassing both body and spirit refinement.

As long as one could cultivate to the fifth layer, they would essentially possess the ability to break the constraints of the world's rules and achieve the so-called godhood.

Upon reaching the seventh layer, they should be able to become the so-called God King. This was a judgment he made based on the energy within Gu Yue Na's body before her transformation.

He had taught this technique to Gu Yue Na half a year ago, and for now, he had only taught it to her, planning to see her cultivation results before deciding further.

Currently, Gu Yue Na's progress wasn't slow, but it hadn't reached the speed he had anticipated.

"Okay," Gu Yue Na responded with some excitement. She could feel the extraordinary nature of this technique. If she continued to cultivate it, it would be very helpful for improving her strength.

This help was not limited to the present. Even after her strength was fully restored, it would still be of great help, meaning she could benefit for life.

With such a miraculous cultivation technique, she naturally hoped to cultivate it well.
