Forest Edge – Night
Arsh walked toward Noar, who knelt with his head lowered.
"I told you not to enter the forest, didn't I?" Arsh asked, folding his arms.
"Forgive me, my lord," Noar replied. "The demons lured me in. They ran, I chased… and before I realized it, I was deep inside."
"Ugh… That's exactly why I keep telling you to study the terrain," Arsh sighed. "Whatever. Let's go home."
Arsh picked him up and carried him on his shoulder, heading back through the shadowy forest.
Haunted Mansion – Deep Forest
A cursed house stood in the center of the woods, guarded by Level 3 demons.
Inside, Demon Commander Greed limped in, blood dripping from a fresh wound on his arm. Across from him stood another behemoth—Gluttony, a bulky, monstrous figure.
"So… you saw him," Gluttony said. "Think we can actually beat that human?"
"He's faster than I imagined," Greed admitted. "I'm the fastest among us. Yet he cut me."
"Bah, it's just a scratch. You'll heal in minutes."
"That's not the point. Our regeneration takes minutes. He can slice us apart in seconds," Greed growled.
"Then we evolve," Gluttony replied with a dark grin.
Safe House – Ainz's Room
"Hey, OSAI," Ainz said, lounging on his bed. "How does Arsh even control his powers? I've seen him fight—and he says he's holding back."
"He uses handicaps," OSAI replied. "For example… his watch weighs over 200 kilograms."
"Wait—what?! That thing? No way!"
"It's made of osmium. He also has weights in his boots. Try lifting his watch sometime."
"Unreal…" Ainz muttered. "And yet he moves like lightning."
"His axe is heavier. Over 500 kilograms," OSAI added.
"Ragnarok, right? What's its story?"
OSAI's voice shifted as he activated a hologram, displaying fiery images.
"Eight years ago, a volcanic eruption destroyed the western region. Arsh went to help. Amid the lava fields, he found a metal unlike anything else—pure osmium. Heavy. Heat-resistant. Deadly. He forged it into a weapon… and trained for three years to wield it."
"Then why name it Ragnarok?" Ainz asked.
"Because it was born from destruction, forged for destruction… and destined to bring destruction."
"That's so cool…"
Just then, the door creaked open. Arsh entered, carrying Noar, who was bloodied and unconscious.
"What the—? What happened to Noar?" Ainz asked.
"No time. Go upstairs and clean the blood. But don't go into the forest," Arsh said, disappearing into a room with Noar.
After patching up Noar, Arsh returned.
"Is he okay?" Ainz asked.
"He'll be fine. Just needs rest."
Ainz frowned as he noticed blood on Arsh's shoulder.
"Wait—you're bleeding. Who did that? Was it a Commander?!"
"Relax. Just a scratch from a Rank 3 Demon Beast."
"Demon Beast? Stronger than regular demons?"
"Somewhat. Think of them like wild predators. Stronger than normal demons, but they're just brute force. No brains."
"So… basically like a wild animal on steroids," Ainz said.
"Exactly."
"Damn. I can't imagine fighting something like that…"
"Anyway, I need a shower. I stink of blood."
As Arsh walked away, Ainz turned to OSAI.
"Are you sure Arsh is human? He's… too powerful."
"It's a common question," OSAI said. "Yes, he's human. But he's trained to surpass every limit a human body should have."
The Next Morning – Ainz's Room
"Wake up!" Arsh shouted. "Training and college today."
"Huh? Already…?" Ainz groaned.
"It's 7 AM. Get moving."
City Rooftop – Demon Detection
"What are we doing here?" Ainz asked, suiting up.
"Scanning complete," OSAI reported. "Detected: 1 Rank 3, 4 Rank 4s, and 6 Rank 5 demons."
"Ainz," Arsh said, "all the lower ranks are yours. Don't disappoint me."
"Let's go! Time to test these upgrades!" Ainz grinned.
The two dropped into the streets where demons wandered.
"Hey," Arsh called out to them. "Having breakfast?"
"More food!" one demon snarled, turning.
Two Rank 5 demons rushed Ainz.
He activated his rocket boots and slammed into them, sending them crashing through a wall.
"That was epic!" Ainz laughed.
With a blade-formed arm and rocket propulsion, he cut down three more.
The remaining demons attacked. Ainz dodged effortlessly, slicing them down one by one.
A Rank 4 demon lunged.
"Ugh, weaklings—can't even handle one human!" it roared.
But Arsh caught its punch mid-air.
"Sorry, but this human isn't your opponent."
He slashed the demon's hand off.
"Didn't enjoy the show? Then die."
One swift move—its head rolled.
"Anyone else got a problem?" Arsh asked, turning to the others.
The rest charged—but the Rank 3 demon commander stopped them.
"Let your rage build. We'll kill him after."
"Smart one," Arsh said with a grin.
The lower ranks swarmed Ainz. But he activated his super speed and cut through them effortlessly.
"I'm loving this suit!" Ainz cheered.
Arsh vs. High-Rank Demons
Arsh turned toward the Rank 4s.
"Show's over. Now, your turn."
The Rank 4 demons charged. Arsh blurred—reappearing behind them in an instant.
The Rank 3 tried to attack from behind.
"You're finished!" it screamed.
But Arsh vanished.
He reappeared behind the demon and whispered:
"That was a dirty trick."
He sliced its head off in one clean motion.
The remaining Rank 4s turned to flee—only for Arsh to appear before them in a blink.
"Going somewhere?"
They attacked wildly. Arsh dodged, fluid as water, and beheaded them all.
"And now," he said, flicking blood from his blade, "the show truly ends."
