"And that convenes, the end of this meeting if any of you have concerns or opinions about Jurassic Zoo, please come to me in private to express them, now if you all would kindly GTFO of my trailer so I can get some sleep it'll be greatly appreciated." I say while smiling but being serious at the same time as this is my third day without sleep between paperwork for the zoo, reviewing contracts with Jessica and going over financials with Lisa I'm beat, I even have a couple of grey hairs coming in.

Lisa stays behind which isn't odd. She and I have spent a lot of time together going over financials, employment contracts, salaries, stock options and how much things cost.
The woman is beautifully intelligent and understands numbers and finance in a way I never will.
"I haven't seen you take a break in the last three months since I met you, you need to rest and take some time for yourself." Lisa says to me, as she goes to my fridge which is embarrassingly empty except for some cans of Coke, Pepsi, a stick of butter and a bottle of ketchup.
Then my pantries and grabs out a half a loaf of bread and a half empty jar of peanut butter, and starts making a sandwich.
"Lisa, you don't have to do that." I tell her but resign myself to her care when she gives me a look that says I'm doing this whether you like it or not.
"I do, you saved my babies, and you gave me a job when you didn't have to, Regardless of your and Alexis's short relationship, Tim sees you as his big brother and I'll be damned if someone that important to my son gets sick because he isn't taking care of himself by not eating and working all the time." The woman goes on and I find myself sitting at the small table eating a peanut butter sandwich.
'I mean, I usually do take personal time to go play and hunt bunnies and or pigs with Little One, and I usually make something to eat before crashing…but I guess it does look like I'm neglecting to take care of myself.' I think but it's not like I can just go and say that I keep a pet Velociraptor in a pocket dimension, and usually spend any and all few moments of free time I have with her.
'Being a single RaptorDad is hard work.' I think jokingly, and wonder how Owen did but remember he had that black guy and whole support staff.
"Thanks for looking after me Lisa, I appreciate it…but, you should go home and get some rest and spend some time with Tim and Lex." I say to the woman and find it hard to look away from the woman with her auburn hair lit up brightly by the sunlight coming in through the window shades.
"I will once I'm sure you've eaten and fallen asleep." Lisa crosses her arms underneath her chest, and I can see it in her body language and eyes that she enjoys trying to take care of me and find my eyes being drawn to her chest amusing.
Rolling my eyes I shrug in an uncaring manner as I polish off my peanut butter sandwich and bottle of water.
Standing up from the table, kicking off my boots and taking off my shirt, enjoying the way the single mother's eyes rove over my naked torso, while I walk over to and crash face first on my couch.
I shut my eyes and let my breathing level out like I'm asleep, a trick that Little One likes to play with me and then jump on me, for playful fighting. Lisa walks over to me and places her hands on my back, I can hear her breathing rate increase as her hands run along my back.
"That silly girl, should just talk to you, I know she's afraid that now that you guys are off of the Island and safe…that she isn't good enough, but that it's not up to her to decide on her own, and just watching how hard you work…" Lisa mumbles and sighs.
"And that you hired me so I could keep giving them the type of life they're used to…She doesn't know what she's missing out on, but you also shouldn't have just walked away either…but I guess this is what it is to be young in this generation." I hear Lisa murmur finally before she clears her throat, removes her hands from my back and leaves my trailer.
'Guess I'm pretty popular with mama…and she's right, my just ignoring Lex like I have been wasn't the right way to handle things…but I've just been so busy…' I think as I stand up from my couch, walk over to my door and lock the three deadbolts on the door and open a doorway to my "Loft" and I use the word loft loosely.
As soon as I'm through the door, a three foot tall, six feet long Raptor pounces on me making happy noses, "Did you miss me Little One?" Playfully I tease Little One as we start, play wrestling.
After some playtime and some steak I lay down in my bed with Little One resting her head on my chest.
"Good night sweet girl." I murmur to the adorable sleeping raptor.

Waking up getting dressed in a business suit, I leave the loft, for my meeting with Henry Wu.
"Hello Doctor Wu." I greet the man who is waiting at my front door, "Mr.Grant, it is not like I had much of a choice you are my employer now." Wu greets me back and continues dismissively.
"Ah, yeah I forgot about that to be honest with you, anyways please come inside there is something I want to discuss with you." I offer mockingly, and step to the side while flourishing with my hand for him to come inside, the man snorts but does so.
"So what is this about Mr. Grant?"
"Simply, I was right you were wrong your creations can reproduce, but honestly I'm not concerned about that, I'll take precautions to limit populations, for the island's flora ecosystem. Now what I'm interested in is if the idea to miniaturize the dinosaurs is possible, T-rex's and other species the size of large Labrador retrievers or even smaller to the average largest size of a common mouse, so Doctor Wu tell is such a thing feasible?" I say to the man before getting to the point, I had this idea when remembering spy kids and how cool it was to see miniature dinosaurs.
The applications for such things would be countless, I already have billionaires and other rich influential people calling me about buying dinosaurs.
"I…I don't know." I could tell Wu was going to instantly deny the viability of my idea, but he stops himself from shutting it down immediately.
"Such research…would be costly and I'd need advanced equipment…" Wi continues.
"I don't need to be told that Henry, I need a person to make it happen…it's a side project of course you'll have to continue your regular duties as well."
"I'll need another lab, and skilled workers/researchers to assist me."
"Like I've already said, I need someone to make it happen, you'll have what you need but you fail me and I'll feed you to Rexy, after all if it wasn't for me protecting you, when Hammond was looking for people to blame, you'd be spending the rest of your life in prison."
"I-I'll do it."
"Good, now if you'll excuse me I have another meeting in about twenty minutes." I nod to Henry and verbally wave him goodbye.
Releasing a sigh and leaning back in my chair, "I don't think I have anything pressing to do today so I might just relax the day away." I hum and my phone starts to ring, reaching over I grab the landline off of the answering machine.
"Hello?" I answer the phone kindly.
"Hi, Alec, it's Lisa. I got some new numbers from Jurassic Zoo, and would like to go over them with you. Can you meet me at that little diner you took me too last week for lunch, for breakfast in say an hour."
"Umm, sure…see you there."
"Thanks, see you later."
'This is Saturday right? Doesn't Lisa have today off?'

To say I'm shocked when I go to meet Lisa for breakfast and Tim slams into me giving me a hug,while Lex stands behind him holding her arms awkwardly.
"Hey." I wave to her with my right hand as I ruffle Tim's hair with my left.
"H-hey…today's Saturday…mom thought we needed to get out of the house so she brought us along." Lex says to me and I nod, "Cool, where is Lisa?"
"Hi Alec, it looks like you got some much needed sleep." Lisa comes up to me with a conniving smile on her face looking between Lex and I.
"And it's been so long…I thought you'd like to see Tim and Alexis…" Lisa continues and Lex blushes slightly and glares at her mother before turning to look at me then she looks away.
"Yeah, it is nice seeing you two, I've been so busy…I haven't gotten the chance to pop in and see how you guys are coping with the move, sorry for that Tim, Lex." I agree as it is nice to see them both even if things feel incredibly tense and awkward between Lex and I now, Tim is just so happy to see me.
