Nanashi clenched his right fist, golden energy crackling around it, and swung with full force.
Boom!
A deafening tremor shook the space station.
Cracks spread across the antimatter core like a spiderweb, fracturing outward in chaotic patterns. In the next instant—
Shatter!
"ROAR!!!"
The Doomsday Beast let out a final, mournful cry as its body dissolved into a golden-purple light, vanishing into nothingness.
"Yeah! We won!" March 7th cheered, jumping in excitement.
Nanashi rejoined the group, his gaze immediately locking onto Stelle.
The energy within her continued to surge outward, unstable and uncontrolled.
"This... what should we do?" The others exchanged uncertain glances.
"Leave it to me."
A calm, authoritative voice cut through the tension.
A cane's handle was gently placed against Stelles forehead, and a flash of purple light pulsed through the air.
The runaway energy came to an abrupt halt. Stelle, suddenly drained, lost her balance, but Nanashi swiftly caught her, lowering her carefully to the ground.
"Uncle Yang!" March 7th called softly, her eyes shining with relief.
"Mm."
The owner of the cane, Welt Yang, stepped forward.
Adjusting his glasses with a measured movement, his gaze turned inquisitive.
"You two appear to be acquaintances of Little March. The train crew is grateful for your assistance."
Himeko and Dan Heng approached as well.
"May I ask for your names?" Welt continued.
"Nanashi," Nanashi replied vaguely.
"My name is Suzuki!" the distant voice of Suzuki rang out as he raised his hand enthusiastically.
Dan Heng frowned. "Mr. Nanashi, Mr. Suzuki—where exactly did you come from? Why haven't we seen you in the space station before?"
No response.
Nanashi simply smiled and waved to March 7th.
"Let March figure out how to answer that. It's time for us to leave."
Their mission was complete, and their travel time had reached its limit.
[System Notification: Nanashi has defeated the Doomsday Beast. The Antimatter Army has retreated. Travel time has expired. The Doomsday Journey has ended.]
[Nanashi earned 60,000 Doomsday Points; March 7th earned 15,000 Doomsday Points; Suzuki earned 5,000 Doomsday Points.]
[Non-members of this world will be forcibly returned when the countdown ends.]
[Countdown: 5, 4... 1. Forced return initiated!]
As the countdown reached zero, Nanashi's figure vanished instantly.
"Huh?" Dan Heng's eyes widened as he turned his head.
Behind him, Suzuki had also disappeared.
"They're gone?" Himeko frowned in confusion.
Welt's gaze flickered with a thoughtful expression.
"Little March seems to know where they came from."
Three pairs of eyes immediately landed on March 7th.
"Ah? This... that... uh..." March 7th let out an awkward chuckle, scratching her head nervously.
Meanwhile, Stelle remained on the ground, exasperated.
"...I'm still lying here, you know!"
"I'm back."
Nanashi reappeared in his room.
Without hesitation, he lay back down, pulling Eriri into his embrace, letting out a deep sigh.
Then he opened the Doomsday Chat Group's ability enhancement function.
Recent Gains:
Cleared a city of evil spirits and monsters: +70,000 Doomsday PointsTraveled to Nami World's Doomsday: +60,000 Doomsday PointsCompleted the latest journey with March 7th: +60,000 Doomsday Points
Total: 190,000 Doomsday Points.
His vector manipulation ability had already reached level 5. Five-Elements Lightning-Dharma, however, was mainly useful for clearing lesser threats like evil spirits, so further upgrades weren't necessary. Level 3 would suffice for now.
"Let's enhance my physique first."
He immediately consumed 50,000 points to upgrade his physical enhancement to level 4.
Just as he considered further upgrades, a system notification appeared:
[Current B-level ability 'Physical Enhancement' has reached its max level and cannot be upgraded further.]
"Max level?"
It was the first time he had encountered such a limitation.
"S-level Vector Manipulation can reach level 5, but B-level Physical Enhancement caps at level 4."
It was clear now—an ability's rank determined its upper limit.
Since physical enhancement couldn't be improved further, he shifted his focus elsewhere.
"Intuition. This is what I need next."
This battle had revealed a major flaw—his lack of high-intensity combat experience against opponents of equal strength.
His combat instincts were rough, and against attacks he couldn't reflect, his reactions were lacking.
Upgrading intuition would refine his ability to read his enemies and react accordingly.
Without hesitation, he spent 60,000 points to raise Intuition to level 4.
As expected, A-rank Intuition could still be further improved.
"Looks like B-rank caps at level 4, while C-rank might max out at level 3. That's useful information."
With 80,000 points remaining, Nanashi turned his attention to the Roulette Wheel.
"Might as well take a spin."
He activated the roulette.
For the first time—it actually landed on something useful!
[Congratulations! You have obtained the 'Six-Style Training Manual.']
"Six Styles?"
He inspected the item.
[Item: Six-Style Training Manual]
Effect: Grants rapid learning and mastery of the Six Styles techniques.
It was the martial arts system from Nami's world.
"Unfortunately, it's useless to me."
At his current level, he had no need for such a technique. However...
"Maybe Eriri, Sayuri, and the others could benefit from it."
They were family now. Teaching them basic self-defense might not be a bad idea.
