š Whispers of the Moon

Episode 59: When the Moon Weeps
The sky quieted.
The rift sealed.
And for the first time in what felt like an eternity, silence returned to the world.
Juvia stood in the stillness, her body bruised, bloodied, and aching, yet somehowāwhole. Beside her, Ha-jun remained silent, staring at the fading dust of his brother, the Forgotten Prince.
He was gone.
But not forgotten.
The battlefield lay scattered with threads of magic, remnants of timelines that would never exist again. And in the center stood the last survivorsāwounded warriors from other versions, displaced souls who had risked everything to stop one who had lost everything.
Sae-rin approached slowly, her armor cracked, face pale. "It's over⦠isn't it?"
Juvia's voice trembled. "No."
They turned to her.
"It's just the beginning."
She walked forward, past the broken stones, through the eerie silence. Her blade, once radiant, was now dull and brittleāburnt out like a dying star. The glow in her eyes had faded. All that remained now was the burden of what she had seen.
"Time doesn't forgive," she whispered. "It just forgets. But we remember."
She reached the center of the battlefield where the threads had settled in a circleāglowing faintly in silver and blue. In the center lay a crystal⦠the last echo of the Forgotten Prince's soul.
Ha-jun knelt and touched it gently. "He didn't want to destroy us. He wanted to be seen."
"He was," Juvia said. "In the end."
She looked around at the scattered soldiers.
"Gather them. The ones from other timelines. We have to send them home⦠if their homes still exist."
Sae-rin shook her head. "Some can't go back. Their timelines are erased."
Juvia closed her eyes, pain pulsing in her chest. "Then we make space for them here. They fought for us. They deserve to live."
Suddenly, the ground rumbled.
The sky flickeredājust once.
Juvia snapped her head up. "No⦠that shouldn't happen. The breach was sealed."
Then a voice whispered in the wind. It wasn't angry. It wasn't even loud.
It was ancient.
And grieving.
"You changed too muchā¦"
Juvia froze.
Ha-jun turned to her. "Did you hear that?"
The moon began to dim, like someone was pulling a veil over it.
Thenāfar in the distanceāan enormous shadow emerged from the horizon.
A tower.
No⦠a temple. Rising slowly from the ashes of the erased timelines.
Sae-rin gasped. "That's not supposed to be here."
"It's a fragment," Juvia breathed. "A piece of a broken future that refused to die."
The temple loomed higher, built of obsidian and shifting mirrors. Carved across its face were names⦠of those who had been forgotten by time.
Ha-jun's hand found Juvia's.
She looked at him. "We saved this world. But something older just woke up."
His eyes narrowed. "And it remembers everything we erased."
The moon bled silver.
And somewhere deep in that rising templeā¦
A pair of golden eyes opened.
Watching them.
Waiting.
