Chapter 37 - Chapter 37

As the full-service system broadcast echoed through the air, Xu Yuan glanced at his inventory. This time, he had been rewarded with 10 gold coins and a Hell Explorer medal.

*Hell Explorer: After use, displays the location of a nearby Nether fortress (cooldown: 5 hours).*

When Xu Yuan saw the Hell Explorer medal, his eyes immediately lit up. This item was incredibly useful.

In the perilous world of Hell, locating a Hell fortress can mean the difference between life and death. If lucky, you could find one as soon as you enter the Hell Gate; if unlucky, you might search for hours without success.

With this Hell Explorer medal, the task became much easier.

*Purpose of Xu Yuan's trip was simple: craft a Weakness Potion, secure the first blood achivement of a few monsters, and gather some land deeds.*

The ingredients needed for the potion were Nether Warts and Blaze Rods. Hell Warts could only be found inside Nether Fortresses.

"Let's see if there are any buildings like dark red bricks nearby" Xu Yuan said, glancing at Ken's group.

At this moment, the expressions on Ken's team were priceless, some awe, some confusion, and a hint of disbelief.

Ken, the boss, remained relatively calm, but the other three looked as if their jaws were about to drop.

Xu Yuan had prepared himself mentally for this. His system displayed in pixel quality, so it was manageable. However, Ken and the others viewed it in high definition.

(A/N:I'm changing Hell into Nether)

Nether itself was a red expanse of magma, roaring monsters, and an oppressive atmosphere. The high-definition visuals, combined with the perception of temperature, made it feel as though they were truly in hell. An indescribable depression weighed heavily on them.

Seeing this, Xu Yuan couldn't help but sigh. He hoped the others could get a few kills to boost morale, but their current state made even movement difficult.

"It's better if you switch the image quality to pixel mode." Xu Yuan suggested.

Ken and his team immediately adjusted the graphics, and sure enough, it became much more bearable.

"Whoa, that scared me half to death just now."one of them exclaimed.

"This HD quality is really intense, full of oppressive feelings..."another added.

Xu Yuan nodded, pleased that they seemed more relaxed.

"Alright, let's see if there's a building made of red bricks nearby." he instructed.

Ken's team nodded and began searching.

Soon, Xiaoyu made a discovery. "Boss Steve, do you see that building over there? The one you mentioned?"

Xu Yuan looked in the direction Xiaoyu pointed, and sure enough, it was the Nether Fortress! a dark red brick structure standing ominously amidst the chaos.

"Yes!" Ken's team confirmed, and they set off toward it.

Along the way, zombie piglins wielding golden swords patrolled the area. There were at least 15 of them within 10-20 yards, their presence adding tension.

Ken's group looked nervous. Seeing this, Xu Yuan offered reassurance.

"Don't worry. These zombie piglins are neutral monsters. We won't be attacked unless we attack first."

Although Xu Yuan aimed to get the first kill, he had no intention of provoking them. With so many nearby, attacking one might immediately turn all of them hostile, complicating their progress.

Ken's team relaxed their vigilance.

Then Ngawang whispered, "Isn't Enderman like afraid to look at them?"

Xu Yuan smiled. "You can look, you can watch."

Hearing this, Ngawang breathed a small sigh of relief!he had been hesitant to make eye contact earlier, fearing the zombie piglins might attack.

Suddenly, A Hao, with sharp eyes, spotted a chest beside one of the zombie pig spirits.

He quietly crept toward it, excited. Seeing that the zombie piglins had ignored him, he eagerly opened the box.

He shouted back to Xu Yuan, "Boss Steve, look! I found a chest!"

"There's more..." he added excitedly.

Before he could finish, the zombie piglin suddenly turned toward him and swung its golden sword down. The surrounding pig spirits also rushed in.

Xu Yuan's heart sank. He immediately realized he'd forgotten to warn the team about the chest's danger.

"Quick! Help!" Xu Yuan shouted.

Everyone rushed over. A Hao, reacting quickly, dodged the attack and ran toward Xu Yuan, with only a single heart remaining and still wearing his iron breastplate. Another hit might mean sending him back to the respawn point.

"Don't touch that chest!" Xu Yuan warned.

Ken's team moved swiftly and set up a protective barrier to block the zombie piglins attack.

A Hao finally breathed a sigh of relief. His last block of health was nearly gone, and if he was stabbed again, he'd need to be sent back.

Xu Yuan looked at the chest and shook his head. "I forgot to tell you! don't touch that box."

Though he wasn't angry, he felt responsible for the oversight.

Ken's team was surprised by Xu Yuan's reaction! they had expected him to blame A Hao, but instead, he explained the situation calmly and didn't scold.

This earned their admiration for Xu Yuan.

At this point, Xiaoyu, Ngawang, and A Hao were even more convinced of Xu Yuan's leadership.

"Farming.." Xu Yuan muttered, referring to a weapon mechanic though the weapon had a chance to burst, it was ultimately useless.
