The room was filled with a tense silence as I stood before the three of them—Bella, Nil, and Fil. The air still shimmered faintly from the residual energy of the ritual I'd just performed. I'd used Alpha Bite, one of my most mysterious and powerful skills, and now... I waited.
I kept my eyes on them, scanning for any immediate changes. At first, nothing. No claws. No fangs. No growls or glowing eyes.
"Don't move," I instructed calmly, my tone serious. "I want to observe what happens next."
They stood obediently still, looking at me with a mixture of trust and confusion. Then, like a switch being flipped, their levels spiked in front of my eyes.
Bella's level jumped to 27.Nil and Fil reached levels 32 and 33 respectively.
Before I could react, a subtle transformation began. Patches of black fur emerged across their bodies. Their eyes—once ordinary—flared to life with an electric blue glow. The transformation accelerated rapidly.
Bella's voice cracked the silence, filled with fear and confusion:"W-What's happening to me?!"
She screamed, her voice deepening unnaturally. Her hands shook as fur overtook her skin, her limbs reshaped, her posture shifted. Her body grew more powerful, more wild. She had become a full-fledged werewolf—tall, feral, and majestic.
The floor trembled as she stomped in panic, her massive claws digging into the floorboards. The other two followed her transformation, their bodies morphing in sync. Nil and Fil were now hulking beasts of black fur and glowing eyes. Three werewolves now stood in front of me, panting heavily, confused but instinctively aware of something.
And then—they knelt.
All three of them dropped to one knee, their heads bowed in submission. As if it was the most natural thing in the world, they spoke together in deep, echoing voices:
"We repent to the Alpha…"
My eyes widened.
They… called me Alpha.
Had my bite imbued them with an understanding of our new hierarchy? Was it my aura? Or did they inherit knowledge through the ritual? It didn't matter. They recognized me. that mattered
A system notification chimed in my head:
[Congratulations, Host. You have successfully created three Beta Werewolves.][Your level has increased.][Level Up!][Level Up!][Level Up!]
Level 52.I grinned. "Nice."
I stepped closer to them and said in a calm but commanding voice, "You're not stuck in this form forever. You can transform back into your human forms whenever you want. All you need to do is concentrate."
They stared at me, processing the information. Bella, now towering and monstrous in form, tilted her head curiously. Her voice, deep and rumbling, asked, "Are you sure? Won't something go wrong?"
I hesitated.
I knew exactly what would go wrong.
If they shifted back now, they'd be completely naked. Bella especially… I didn't mind seeing her—but with two other dudes around? That would be one hell of an awkward scene.
Just as I opened my mouth to give them a warning, the system saved my pride.
[Host, do not worry. Your robe is a unique divine item. Since they were turned using your Alpha power, they will receive a similar blessing. When they return to human form, clothing will materialize on their bodies.]
"Really?"
[Yes, Host.]
I exhaled in relief. "Alright, go ahead. All of you, focus. Shift back."
They nodded.
One by one, they began to shrink down. Muscles compressed. Fur retracted. Their limbs reformed into more delicate shapes. Soon, they stood before me in human form once again—except this time, they wore brand-new outfits.
Nil and Fil wore matching suits of dark blue and gold—similar to mine in flair, but clearly designed to mark them as lieutenants, not leaders. They looked sharp.
Then I saw Bella.
Holy shit.
A thin, shimmering golden outfit clung to her body like it had been painted on. The dress followed every curve with precision, exposing a teasing amount of cleavage and outlining her hips and thighs in sinful detail. My nose tingled.
Nosebleed.Yep, there it was.
I instinctively gave her a thumbs-up before I could stop myself.
Bella's eyes widened. Her cheeks exploded with color. She blushed so hard it looked like steam might rise from her head.
And… well, let's just say my "dragon" woke up and tried to stretch its wings. I quickly coughed and looked away.
Stay down, you bastard.
I cleared my throat and tried to shift the mood. The restaurant around us was trashed. Tables overturned, walls cracked, and broken glass littered the floor. People outside were probably terrified or confused. The aura of raw power we now exuded was unmistakable.
I looked at the twins. "Alright. I never got your names. You two?" i can see thier names but i still asked.
Nil stepped forward and bowed. "I am Nil, my lord. And this is my brother, Fil. We are twins."
I nodded. "Yeah, I figured. You two look damn near identical."
I turned serious again. "This place is wrecked. You guys know anywhere we can go? Somewhere safe?"
Nil nodded. "There's an old warehouse—the previous gang leader's hideout. It's not much, but it's secure."
"Good enough. Lead the way."
We stepped out of the restaurant. The moment we did, heads turned. People gasped. We weren't just a group walking down the street—we looked like royalty. A prince and his elite guards. And they felt it too. The fear. The awe. The respect.
We reached the warehouse. It was… disappointing.
A run-down, dusty place with old wine barrels and a boss table that had definitely seen better days.
I sat down in the so-called "boss chair" and leaned back with a sigh.
"This place is shit."
Nil flinched. "Apologies, my lord. This is all we have for now."
I waved it off. "We'll make do. For now."
Then I leaned forward. "You guys know what you are now?"
Bella stepped forward. "A name popped into my head when I changed. its Werewolf."
I smiled. "That's right. You're now Beta Werewolves. You have strength, speed, healing, endurance—everything's amplified. Even in your human forms, you'll punch above your level. Bella, you're level 27, but you could go toe-to-toe with a level 30. Easy."
Their eyes sparkled in wonder.
"But in your werewolf forms…" I paused, letting the weight settle in. "You're ten times stronger."
All three of them stared at me like I'd descended from the heavens.
I raised a hand. "Now before you get too excited, there is one downside. But we'll get to that later."
I stood and faced them fully. "Let me formally introduce myself. I am Gray Soliski, Alpha Werewolf, and the leader of this pack. You are my Betas. From today onward, we are a family. A pack."
They knelt again, proudly this time.
"Yes, Boss" they echoed.
I glanced at Bella. She was smiling—truly smiling—for the first time. Her eyes shone with new confidence and purpose.
Then I turned to the twins. "Tell me your story. How'd you end up in a gang?"
Fil spoke first, his voice low. "Nothing special, my lord. We were orphans. Taken in by the Black Wolf Gang. Started as errand boys… worked our way up. That's all."
Classic gang origin. Sad but expected.
Then I looked at Bella. "Your story?"
She took a breath, just about to speak—
But I froze.
My eyes snapped toward the door.
Heavy footsteps.
i can sense a foul aura.
I clenched my jaw. "Looks like we have guests."
I turned to them, my eyes cold and sharp.
"Time for your first test. Get ready."
