Chapter 2 - chapter one

The sterile white blurred, then sharpened into the sickly sweet tang of antiseptic and something else… something metallic and faintly coppery. My eyes, heavy and unfamiliar, fluttered open. This wasn't the sterile calm of the County General operating room. It was… disorienting. Pain, dull and throbbing, pulsed behind my eyes.

Then, a voice, cold and utterly alien, echoed in the recesses of my mind: *Host Body Acquired. Three Wishes Granted.*

Three wishes? Fragments of memory, disjointed and jarring, flooded my consciousness: a life, a family, a relentless pursuit of justice… But this wasn't *my* life. This was… Rick Grimes. Deputy Sheriff. King County. And I was inhabiting his body, lying here, vulnerable, in this hospital bed.

The system, if you could call it that, offered no user-friendly interface, just a stat panel It was a raw, brutal power, a cosmic genie with a limited supply of wishes. My first need was immediate, a matter of survival within this unfamiliar body

*Wish One: Complete and immediate peak physical and mental conditioning with mastery over all formed of armed and unarmed combat

The pain receded, replaced by a familiar, comforting strength. Rick Grimes' body, once weak and broken, felt whole, mine. The memories, once fractured and hazy, coalesced, solidifying into a clear, unbroken narrative. I was Rick Grimes, and this was my body

The change was instantaneous. My muscles tightened, coiled springs of power. My senses, previously dulled by trauma, sharpened to an almost superhuman degree. This wasn't just physical enhancement; it was mastery, an intuitive understanding of combat honed to a deadly precision.

I sat up now staring in the notification that had popped up

Two wishes consumed

Damm so a wish does have a limit and will consume as many as it needs to fulfill that wish wonder if I wished for so much my remaining wish couldn't fulfil would it just not complete it and give me a form of the wish or possibly consume wishes I don't have to do so

A low growl, a shuffling sound outside the room, prickled my senses. This hospital wasn't as deserted as it seemed.

*Wish Three: Grant me an unlimited inventory space in which I can freely enter where time doesn't effect what is in that space

Wish can not be fulfilled system has granted a wish with it's utmost capability

*wish granted an unlimited inventory space where time doesn't effect the items in said as I walk out of my hospital room I grab a pen left on the bed side table and stab the metallic end into the walkers head barely penetrating the skull I slam my hand down onto its head forcing the pen down ferther into the brain

Crumpling down knees buckling onto the emergency bed outside the door

Knowing it to be unsafe in the hospital I make a break for it even knowing all I do about the walking dead nothing can prepare you for the sight of a half torn body trying to swing at you ignoring all the walkers I head towards my former house planning on meeting Morgan

Arriving at the house I rummage through the kitchen a find a kitchen knife not optimal but temporary

Waiting on the steps to my home I spotted Duane trying to sneak up on me shovel in hand , deciding that my best chose would be to not be hit in the head but a 3 pound metal shovel

Hey over here ricks voice echos slightly in the abandoned town

Morgan who was only a couple of meters away from us hurriedly approached while telling Duane to put the shovel down

Using that as an excuse not to reveal any abnormal feats of awareness to turn and acknowledge Duane's presence

*A LITTLE BIT LATE (I couldn't think of a way to explain to Morgan with out making it seem even more reppetative than this story is )

All three can be seen walking on the side of the road to the sheriff's office

If you want to imagine him explaining it to them his back story *
