Lucian's POV
The caterer and her squad served the food on the table.
There are no exception to what as demons and humans eat.
It's just the same but the only difference is that us demons consume a large amount of pepper
We don't eat humans like what their legends say.
Just rare abondon demons do that
Takumi helped himself with some rice. Then the people presented on the table helped themselves too
I took a small portion of rice since I had little appetite
I do know that Noelle has a huge appetite when it comes to food so I made the caterers cook a lot today
But I realized that she didn't touch her food
Why, she must be very hungry, so why wasn't she eating? I thought
"Eat!!"I commanded looking keenly at her
"No" She responded firmly
She looked angry due to her response
No one has ever talked to me like that. Only demon lords talk to me with fluidity. Julian too
"Not scared of me now huh" I thought
I felt good and calm that she wasn't scared of me.
Why ?. I just couldn't put a finger on it
Just then a subordinate of mine stood up and started walking to the door muttering "I can't do it anymore"
Is he okay?
"Where are you going? I asked in a very chilling tone
"I .... can't take..."he responded until I killed him
My demon killed him as he was clearly fustrated that Noelle hasn't eaten a thing when she came here
"You irritate me"I said in a bored and cold voice
It was true though. I never liked Steven. He stammered a lot
Such a weak guy also
I turned to Noelle and found her shivering on her seat ,partially covered in blood
"Eat" I ordered again
She picked up her spoon and placed some rice in her shivering mouth
I noticed something
She was .... crying?
