Marine Headquarters, Marineford
Inside an office.
A curly-haired man in his fifties, sporting sunglasses and a yellow-and-white striped suit, lounged lazily in his chair.
He held a nail clipper, leisurely trimming his nails. Judging by his appearance, this was one of the Marine top combatants—Admiral Kizaru, Borsalino!
"Report!" a soldier voice suddenly rang out.
"Oh?" Kizaru paused his slow, deliberate movements and pursed his lips. "What is it…?"
"Admiral Kizaru! Your younger brother is here, saying he has urgent business with you…" The soldier spoke cautiously, his expression awkward.
At this, Kizaru face twisted slightly in resignation. He was already fifty-six years old.
Yet his so-called "younger brother" was only eight!
He truly couldn't wrap his head around it.
At his parents' age—let alone his own—how had they managed to have another child nine years ago?
He didn't know whether to call it "old age vitality" or something else entirely…
But precisely because of this late-life miracle and because his little brother was exceptionally bright, their parents had spoiled him rotten.
Case in point—they even indulged his wish to join the Marine Research and Development Division and that was only after they had repeatedly begged Kizaru to pull some strings.
Given his parents' pleas and his own admiral status, Kizaru had reluctantly arranged it.
But who would've thought his little brother would actually stir up trouble?
In fact, the soldier reporting to him was thinking the same thing.
But since this involved an admiral family, he didn't dare make any decisions on his own.
So he had no choice but to seek Kizaru instructions.
"Oh?" Kizaru expression flickered with surprise before settling back into resignation.
"Alright, alright, I get it. Bring him in…" He covered his face with a hand and sighed deeply.
But before he could finish—
A childish voice suddenly piped up from behind the soldier.
"Big bro, no need! I'm already here!"
With that, a small, round head peeked out from behind the soldier.
A closer look revealed an adorable little face—soft, pink, and slightly chubby, like a delicate porcelain doll. His big, bright eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief.
Draped over his shoulders was a miniature lab coat, custom-tailored to his size, giving him an oddly distinguished air.
His name was Leon—Admiral Kizaru beloved younger brother.
"Oh, for heaven's sake!" Kizaru eye twitched as he hurried forward.
"Why did you come here on your own?"
Leon grinned up at him. "Big bro, of course it's because I have something important to tell you!"
Then, with a mysterious smile, he added. "This time, it's a really big deal!"
"A big deal?" Kizaru scoffed, feigning disinterest.
"What is it?"
Leon puffed out his chest proudly.
"I just want you to introduce me to Fleet Admiral Sengoku! I've invented something amazing—something that'll shock the entire Navy!"
Hearing this, Kizaru felt absolutely nothing.
He immediately switched to a lazy mode. "Yeah, yeah… I'll introduce you when I have time."
As if he'd believe an eight-year-old claims!
What kind of "amazing invention" could a kid possibly come up with?
If I really recommended him, I'd be out of my mind.
"Brother, you don't believe me?" Leon saw Kizaru dismissive expression but didn't mind.
Instead, he directly took off the large bag he was carrying.
Only then did Kizaru notice—Leon had been carrying a backpack almost as tall as himself!
But what could be inside such a massive bag?
He looked over.
Then, Leon opened the bag.
The next moment.
A small figure stepped out.
White hair, dark skin, a pair of tiny black wings—flames flickering atop them! And most shockingly… his face was identical to Kizaru appearance when he was a child!
"Huh? A kid? Wait… what is this—?" At this sight, Kizaru gasped in shock.
His face twisted in disbelief, his pupils trembling.
"What… what is going on?"
Staring at the little creature before him, Kizaru was horrified.
This child appearance was exactly like his own when he was a boy!
Moreover, his eyes were lively and bright, curiously glancing around—clearly a living being!
"Leon… what in the world is this?" Kizaru nearly popped his eyes out at the scene.
"Heh, didn't expect this, did you?" Leon grinned.
"This is my invention! A man-made weapon created using your lineage factor… and that of King, one of the Three Disasters of the Beasts Pirates, a Lunarian! It possesses formidable combat power!"
Hearing this, Kizaru expression darkened.
With his advanced Observation Haki, he could sense it—this weapon craftsmanship alone, in terms of complexity, precision, and realism… surpassed even Vegapunk Pacifistas!
As the head of the Science Division, he could recognize this at a glance.
Stunned, he turned to Leon, his face a mix of emotions.
Leon smiled.
This was, after all, the upgraded version of the future Pacifistas—just completed ahead of time by him.
Kizaru stood frozen, staring at Leon.
He never could've imagined… That his little brother—nearly fifty years his junior—possessed such terrifying scientific talent.
Without guidance or mentorship… He had independently developed something this monstrous.
Though its full power remained unknown, from what he could see, it was undoubtedly strong!
The key point? His brother was only eight years old!
Yet he had created such an invention!
This level of genius… even Vegapunk paled in comparison, didn't he?
Meanwhile, little Leon, seeing Kizaru reaction, smirked knowingly. He had anticipated this exact response from his brother.
The truth was… Leon was a reincarnator.
Eight years ago, he had reincarnated into this dangerous world of pirates—reborn as a newborn infant. Because he retained his memories, despite his young age of eight, his intellect far surpassed that of a child.
His true intelligence rivaled that of an adult!
Not only that…
As a reincarnator, he had awakened his own golden finger—a Technology System!
One that granted him access to all kinds of godly scientific advancements!
However, the prerequisite for activating this system was joining the Navy Science Division.
That's why he had been desperately pleading with his parents in this life—to have his brother Kizaru bring him in and get him into the Navy Science Division.
And right after joining, once the system was successfully activated, he obtained his first piece of scientific technology.
The first technology he acquired was none other than the future upgraded version of the Pacifista—the [Seraphim]!
