"Duke we have to kill that guy" Alen said
"Which guy and are you dumb any of them will kill you in a single spell." Duke said in a surprised tone
"We have to do it for her" said Alen
"Yeah being killed for a woman who you just met, best reason possible" Duke said in sarcastic tone
"She is not just a woman, when she touched me I felt like something inside me competed" said Alen
"Fck, for someone's love story I have to be sacrificed. Let's do it" Duke said in annoyed tone
As Alen reached the place where battle was happening. He was surprised that both were bleeding but the Cosmo energy aura of old man was decreasing his swords were not big as they were few minutes ago. Blood was coming out of his wounds constantly.
Younger guy was bleeding too but it's beast was healing him.
"Such a rare and powerful predator beast, no wonder every family wants to get a new tamer join their family." Said Alen.
"When I will evolve, I also will be as strong as this if not even stronger" Duke said in a Angry tone as his pride was hurt.
"So what's your plan, are you planning to fight it head on" Duke added
"No do you think I am this stupid" Alen answered
Alen was looking at beast for sometimes than he looked at the forest and a idea came to the mind of Alen.
"Listen Duke , you have to run and jump with your full power such that I am just below the beast and then you hace to kick trees and broken them diagonally so they become pointed." Alen explained
"That's easy but what will you do" asked Duke
"Just risk everything I have, we don't have time. Let's start" Alen said in a serious tone.
Duke started running and took a jump of around 20 foot in height but it was not enough Alen jumped from back of Duke to the height of another 8 foot.
He started swinging his blades with help of chains and later he throw his short swords such that they rammed inside the beast and stayed there.
Before beast was able to understand anything Alen concentrated whole his thunder cosmic energy and released the most powerful thunder attack he has ever done.
Electric flowed from chain to short sword to beast and young mage and they both experienced the extreme pain but it was not enough to kill any one of them
Suddenly Alen shouted "Old man hammer them down"
The old mage heard Alen and was surprised but still he used rest of his power to do a hammer attack like last time.
The second hammer was about to fall on them, Alen released the chains which made the beast and its owner both fall. On the trees which were diagonally broken and their edge was sharp.
Several broken trees went inside the beast and it was shouting in pain shrieking his last breath.
The young mage was flying suddenly a huge fireball hit the injured mage hurting him even more.
He looked at Alen and said "kid I will kill you and torment your soul for a infinity" and he vanished.
Old man came to Alen " Kid I will be taking this Beast's soul and blood. Come to hut , I will explain you everything."
They went to the hut where the girl was sleeping.
"Start explaining, old man " Alen demanded explanation
Old guy came with two containers and put them on table both were of glass but they looked magical. One was most probably containing the soul of beast and other was containing the blood of beast.
As old guy started explaining "That guy is the finance of our Sophie"
Alen shouted in surprised "so are you kidnapper ?and why is a guy in late twenties is finance of a girl who is just fifteen?"
Old man explained "That guy is prodigy of our family, he become a warlord mage when he was twenty five and Sophie was thirteen that time. So the clan elders decided that they will marry sophie to him so that they can tie him and his talent to family. But Sophie rejected him."
"So why are they attacking you now ?" Alen asked
"Sophie's dad is head of family so they can't do anything while he was there but right now our family is at war and our leader Sophie's dead is in battlefield so they want the marriage of Sophie and this guy during this time so later no one can do anything." Explained Alen.
"What about curse? It will kill Sophie." Alen asked
"That's when the soul of this beast will help us. This beast has healing properties and Sophie is a Holy mage with it's properties together, Sophie will be recovered." Answered old man
"But the beast is a Water elemental beast and Sophie is a Holy mage their power will not match" asked Alen
"Sophie has both water and holy element" old man told Alen
"Is Sophie a battle mage already, isn't she little younger to be a battle mage" asked Alen in surprised
"Well she was born with already awakened holy element and she is super talented as a mage" the old man answered proudly
"But still a battle mage can only absorb soul of fighter beast, a predator beast will be too much" Alen was curious
"Yeah, that is for normal mages she is born with Cosmo energy her Cosmo energy reserves and control is one of the best in world for any battle mage" old man's spoken in a very proud tone.
"Anyways you can go home, come in three day, till then Sophie will also absorb the soul to the same hut I will compensate you for your help" old man added
"But that mage is alive what if he came back to attack" Alen asked as he was worried about them.
"Kid that guy has lost his beast, his soul will surely be injured and also he took my hammer spell his physical injuries will be as bad as his spiritual injury. So we can rest assured he will not come back in a month or so." Old man said in a calm tone.
"Fine, I am going but what should I call you" Alen asked
"Just call me guide" the old man replied.
Alen later on went to Duke, and with Duke he went to corpse of the beast the harvested it.
"Beak, claws and wings of beast is to be sold and I can have meat."
For three days Alen absorbed the meat and trained on the mountain top where he used to train.
Alen found out his eyes have evolved in 3 days they can be see clearly than many binoculars human use. His skin was becoming smother and now he can feel Cosmo energy more clearly.
"Having meat of an Predator beast is best thing" Alen thought as he was going to the hut of old man.
As Alen entered the hut he saw Sophie and guide both were sitting and talking about the fight.
Alen asked "Have you absorbed the soul successfully, Sophie" because she was looking more beautiful than last time her eyes did not have any dark circles and skin was more glowing.
"Yes and it was all thanks to you Mr...." Sophie hesitated she thought she don't even know name of the guy who saved herife.
"Alen, just call me Alen" said Alen with his hand forward for a handshake
Guide gave a angry looks but Sophie smiling shaked his hand and said "than you Alen"
But the thing that struck both of their mind was "this guy is a commoner, having this much power as a commoner without any support."
First they thought Alen was maybe a young master of some small family that resides near this forest but it's hard to believe he was a commoner.
Suddenly guide said "Alen give me your hand to analyse your power so I can give something to you which will help you tha most" but the real reason of guide was to get a hold of Alen's talent.
As he touched Alen's hand and inserted Cosmo energy his face' expression changed, his face was showing the signs of surprise.
"What a big world, I used to think our Sophie is a monster in terms of talent but to we would find another monster in this forest" guide said with a surprised face.
"Such built physique that put shame to close combat mages, such a huge mana reserves that makes spell mages jealous and also talent of awakening with two elements. Are you really human? " Said Guide
Sophie was shocked after hearing the description of Alen's power and now when she was taking a good look on him he looks were comparable to some flim stars, Alen was first guy this handsome she has seen in real life, even though because of her high power post she has met countless celebrities.
"Dear, Alen there is nothing worth to you that I can give, the god had given you best gift possible but there is one thing I can give you." Old man added
Alen asked "And what is that?"
Alen was not shocked except the awakening of two elements Cosmo breathing and eating was reason of every thing
"You use short swords and maybe you don't know but I am known as weapon master in this continent, no one has more knowledge than me about using weapons. So I will teach you how to use a short sword from beginner to advanced." said Guide
Even though Alen did not rely on his weapon to win but still learning from a master was never bad idea.
"Fine so when can I learn" Alen asked
"Every morning six to ten you are with me but today I have to do some work so I should be going." said guide
Guide left the hut
"So how are you feeling" asked Alen
"I am fine, but I have to absorb this blood to heal completely" said Sophie
"You wanna go to a secret place where you can absorb this faster" said Alen.
"Are you sure" said Sophie
"Yeah it's safe and beautiful"said Alen
Alen and Sophie both went outside hut and Alen whistled suddenly Duke came running with full speed
Sophie summoned a water ball suddenly Alen said "he is a friend."
"Duke, take us to the most beautiful place you know" Alen said in Duke's ear so Sophie can not listen.
"Yeah I know a place that will be best for your first date."
First Alen made Sophie sit on Duke then he sat behind Sophie holding Rien
