Cherreads

Chapter 9 - THE FAILURE..

The scene opened in Bhouldera Village, where the golden sunlight fell over the scarred earth like a cruel reminder of what had just transpired. Smoke rose in thin spirals. Blood had dried on the cobblestones. The wind carried a silence that screamed louder than any voice.

Villagers circled the AATMIK Team, tears in their eyes, some falling to their knees. "You saved our children... our lives," one man whispered, voice cracking.

The woman responsible for the attempted sacrifice kneeled in chains of shimmering light, her body broken but her mind untouched — grinning like she had already won.

Sahil walked forward, eyes blazing. He clenched his fists until his knuckles turned white, storming toward her. He grabbed her by the collar and lifted her slightly, voice trembling with rage.

"Why?! Why would you try to kill that innocent child?! What are you!?"

She didn't flinch. Her eyes were pools of madness, lips curled in a grotesque smirk.

"Because none of you will survive what's coming," she whispered. "This land is cursed. Bhouldera... was just the beginning."

Suddenly, a thunderous alarm echoed through the air — ancient sirens, magical and deep, embedded in the trees by the village ancestors. The ground itself seemed to shudder. Every face turned pale.

Radha spun around, eyes sharp. "That sound… it only activates during an invasion."

A scout stumbled in, breathing heavily, bleeding from the shoulder. "They're coming… Gautam is leading them. And… the Five Generals are with him."

Time seemed to freeze.

From the edges of the forest, the darkness stirred.

A line of soldiers emerged, black armor gleaming, their eyes lifeless. And behind them walked five figures — not human anymore, but something worse.

Raj. Ehtesham. Musa. Kareena. Anwar.

Each radiating power that made the very earth curl in discomfort. Behind them came Gautam, like a storm wearing a man's skin.

Radha turned to the elder. "Take the child. Evacuate everyone. Now."

Suddenly, Harun's breath caught in his throat. His knees weakened. His eyes rolled back — and then a vision struck him.

Zoya lying in a pool of blood.

Sahil screaming as his ribs caved in.

Radha dissolving into light.

And himself... staring lifelessly into the void.

He whispered, trembling, "We're all going to die."

But Zoya grabbed his arm tightly. "No," she said, voice like steel. "We're going to survive. But only if we fight. Now get up."

Sahil patted him on the back, grinning. "Oi, crybaby. Time to use that goth magic of yours."

Harun nodded, wiped his eyes, and summoned a massive hexagonal forcefield of abyssal blue. "Follow me!" he yelled, leading villagers out as spells and blasts thundered in the distance.

Soon, only the warriors remained.

Sahil cracked his knuckles, grinning. "Let's paint the battlefield red."

---

The First Clash

They came like waves — soulless, countless. And the AATMIK Team dove in.

Sahil roared, spinning in the air, slicing with his wind blade — fifteen enemies flew back.

Radha danced barefoot, vines turning into daggers, weaving death with every step.

Zoya spun gracefully, her Crystalline Ice Sword slicing through helmets and armor like paper.

Harun's chest glowed. He raised his hand.

"Abyssal Universal Core."

The orb burst into silence — a vacuum. Twenty enemies fell without a sound, their bodies collapsing as if reality rejected them.

Gautam narrowed his eyes.

"They're Moksha-level," he growled. "Generals… show them despair."

Sahil vs. Ehtesham & Musa — Magnetic Duel

Sahil stood alone in a clearing, wind howling.

From the sky descended the twins — the Magnetic Maelstrom.

Ehtesham raised his hand. Shattered metal swirled into a dome — a shimmering trap. Musa launched magnetic shurikens with impossible speed.

Sahil jumped mid-air, dodging, slicing two in half. But three slashed through his shoulder. Blood spurted. He landed hard, rolled, and stood again.

"Two against one, huh?" He grinned, eyes wild. "Then I'll fight like ten."

He spun his Oxy Sword — the blade howled as it sliced through magnetic waves.

But the twins moved faster — together. They synchronized a dual-core attack — Sahil was caught in an electromagnetic dome.

"No escape," Musa said.

> SHOOM—!

The dome exploded inward. When the dust cleared, Sahil lay there — breathing, bloodied, defeated.

His fingers twitched.

Zoya vs Kareena — Grace Against Death

On a silver-glazed battlefield, Zoya faced Kareena.

"You're beautiful," Kareena said, venom dripping from every word. "Let's see how well beauty survives poison."

They moved.

Zoya dashed, her sword trailing frost. Kareena danced, violet mist spiraling from her steps. Zoya coughed — one breath was too much. Poison mist.

But she wasn't done. Zoya activated her stone — frozen blades circled her like wings.

She slashed Kareena's arm. Blood.

Kareena licked her lips. "Now you've breathed enough."

Zoya's strength faltered. Her legs gave way. Kareena's whip coiled around her, dragging her into a tree.

Her ice sword shattered.

Zoya — Bhouldera's Ice Queen — fell.

---

Radha vs Anwar — Sound vs Soul

The battlefield trembled.

Anwar appeared like lightning itself, sound trailing behind him.

"So you're Radha," he smiled. "Let's see if the goddess of nature can bleed."

He vanished — reappeared behind her — BOOM!

She blocked it with bark-shield. It cracked but didn't break.

Radha swayed with the wind, dodging sonic blades, thorns rising to meet sound.

Then he clapped his hands.

"Reverb Inferno."

All color vanished. All sound… gone.

Radha's heartbeat was the only thing she could hear. She bled from slashes she couldn't see. Anwar laughed. "In this dome, sound cuts deeper than steel."

She whispered to the ground.

"Gaia… now."

A titan vine burst out, crushing Anwar mid-flight.

She whispered again, "You're not the only one with a domain."

Green light exploded.

A forest grew inside the sound dome. Her power awakened. Roots. Trees. Grass. Life.

"Gaia's Pulse."

They clashed mid-air — his sound blades vs her Gaia Spear.

The world cracked.

He unleashed Final Echo Cannon.

Everything turned white.

When light faded — Radha stood, bleeding, trembling.

Anwar was at her feet — unconscious.

But she collapsed too.

---

Harun vs Raj — The Final Gate

The sky turned red.

Raj walked forward, flames melting ground beneath him.

"You. The weakest. Why are you still standing?"

Harun stood firm, though his arms shook.

"I'm not here because I'm strong. I'm here… because they trusted me."

Raj smirked. "Then burn with them."

He launched HELLFLARE.

But before it hit—

Harun whispered, "Soul Void."

Abyss exploded.

A dome of pure nothingness.

Inside: no flame. No heat. Just cold silence.

Harun saw memories — dying friends, fading hope.

Then… a child's hand. Her smile.

"I'm not done."

His eyes turned abyssal violet.

He summoned the Abyss Blade.

Raj flew at him — punches like volcanoes. Harun blocked. Slashed. Took damage. Stood again.

"You think effort matters?" Raj screamed. "You're nothing!"

He blasted Hell Nova — point blank.

The domain shattered.

Harun flew back — his chest scorched. Stone cracked. Vision blurry.

He remembered their faces.

Zoya… Radha… Sahil…

And he whispered—

"I will not let you win."

He stood.

His body broken.

His blade shattered.

But his soul burned brighter than fire.

"I'll put everything into this."

He fused abyss into his heart.

"One strike. That's all I need."

Raj stepped back. "What are you—"

Harun roared—

"ABYSSAL FINALITY!!!"

He leapt — slashed.

Black light tore through the battlefield.

Time slowed.

When the dust cleared—

Raj fell.

His flame gone.

Harun fell too.

But he was alive.
