But in such harsh environments, Roy and Sermias found a deeper understanding with each other. They'd sit by the fire at night, looking up at a sky full of stars. Whenever they found fresh spices to cook food, they'd share their skills with each other. When avoiding the rain out of boredom, or when they were stuck and couldn't move forward, they'd make love, their bodies covered in sweat and semen.
