The Great Pirate Era begun with the pirates king Gol.D.Roger execution and after his declaration about the one piece who most people believed and they began to head to the sea with all kinds of personalities and dreams and also hopes .
Freedom is the slogan that led to many people to become pirates add to that money , fame , power but don't let the temptations fool you if you really become a pirate then you are enemy with the world government that roam and protect these seas at least that's what they believe and you are also an enemy to other pirates as well so you must be powerful enough so not to be either locked in impel down or worse dead at some pirates hands .
My name is Ryuu D Solar and i have already lost the privilege to choose from since i was born as my home island was burdened by not one but two heavenly tributes how did that happen i wonder but got the answer years later you see the first heavenly tribute which sucked the life of the island inhabitants was hijacked by a group of pirates at first the people in the island were soliciting some comfort in what occurred but then came the order of preparing a second heavenly tribute to the celestial dragons and the whole island already emptied their resources just to be able to give the first one now they were ordered to hand it again outrageous right .
And as failing to do so only lead to one end slavery or at least it is the fate for those that already have nothing more to contribute in the heavenly tribute and that led my family to our current predicament .
We were taken as slaves my parents and myself are now property to the celestial dragons .
I was born 6 years after the Great Pirate Era started , born and raised in slavery and to a rental slaves parents my dad is good with machinery and my mom served as maid in different world nobles mansions .
I never saw my mother and father getting marked with the soaring dragon hove the mark which is degrading the person marked with it to more or less a play thing for the nobles i didn't realize it at first but my dad came back every night with a new scar on his face and when asked about what happened he only smiled and said an accident occurred when tending to the machines while looking at me my mom who was commenting at how clumsy can he be but still donned a smile that masked her own suffering from doing chores for the nobles as i as a one year toddler stood up and hugged my dad then Marched towards my mother embracing her in a hug too but the mark is there as i watched it on other people passing by and accepted the fact that it might also be my turn soon too .
My second year started with a small birthday party with 3 cookies on a cracked plate and that was the first time i tasted sweets i ate mine in the blink of an eye and it tasted like a comfy sun rays are appearing in my stomach it was a short delight and i hoped to get more but luckily the suffering i got from the whip of the noble saint in the end of my first year being alive as i didn't answer his knocking on the shack so he busted the door and whipped me who was still trying to stand straight toddler two times one missed and the second hit me so hard that my reason surfaced early than most kids at my age and that let me aware of our situation so for the rest of the cookies i let father and mother each have one before wishing me a happy birthday and left for their missions .
Other slaves always talked about the one piece and said it's a legendary treasure that was left at the final island by pirates king Gol.D.Roger before his execution after turning himself in mostly the enslaved pirates from different regions from the sea and hearing them talking about the sea and its mysteries and some even shared their dreams and hopes before being captured and marked by that cursed mark and that dangerous collar rumors about it exploding if you missed with it or if your master willed it to already chilled the heart of those who thought about escaping but there were those who preferred their life to end that way i didn't understand why the celestial dragons are cruel but they must have a bottom line right , right ?
How wrong was i their cruelty really know no boundaries as i understood that in my third year of age and from the smiling enthusiastically owner who was brandishing the mark of the soaring dragon hove upon my back and saying words like just like your parents filthy human you will be entertaining us your superiors officially from now on and i lost conscious when i woke up i was already collard with that cursed collar that i kept hearing about while also feeling an itch in my back as i finally understood why did those people choose to escape fully aware of their end freedom is really priceless and i cried so hard that i lost my consciousness again .
I woke up hearing the sobbing voices of my parents taking about how dreadful i must be feeling and why destiny was so cruel as to not even spare me a three years old kid and if they were right by staying in that island after the second heavenly tribute was ordered but they began to curse the marins and world government for surrounding the island to not let anyone escape .
I steadied my resolve and donned a silly smile on my face and came to them and asked if their will be cookies for my third birthday too and they looked at me then at the collar on my neck for a few moments then as i repeated the question they teared even more then noded while wiping their tears and returned to their daily smiles the resolve that i had steadied was what ever happened to me i will bear with it for my father and mother sake .
For my 4th year i was rented for jobs too mostly consist of either being a punch bag for the scummy nobels dragons or some of their slaves it hurts and even with my strong resolve i can't help but cry as they were even allowed to use weapons to beat me up or shooting at me with guns while inviting other nobles to watch my suffering became their number 1 amusement at the end of the day my wounds doesn't heal and no one would care to help a sever injured kid no one official ofcourse as slaves do care for each other a slave doctor came and nursed me with some bandages when i was at the end of the line i weakly thanked him and he paid me no mind but said that with my way of accumulating wounds even he won't be able to do anything about it .
Luckily or unluckily i wasn't the only one tasked with such jobs or else i would be long dead i still find some liking to the idea of dying soon anyway maybe just maybe the suffering will somehow end but it's either me or my dad getting treated the same so i chose to be the one and thankfully the saint welcomed the idea as my dad is already looked like an old man but the only surprised was a girl joining our family her name was Koala an orange haird girl that looked emotionless for the first two months then as i kept trying to assure her and telling her about stories i heard from the pirates and other slaves especially the one about Nika the fool who played the gods and freed the torments which made her interested she is older than me yet so intrigued by these kind of stories i assured her that Nika is coming to save her she didn't say anything but went with my mom to their job but returned with an emotionless smile that almost gave me a heartache and it kept happening and i didn't lose the hope of getting her to smile .
While waking to work in the domain of gods i kept seeing the suffering while trying to keep my head low not to give a reason for the scummy nobels to punish me or kill me i saw people with lifeless eyes being treated as mounts people who looked like they were big pirates from both of their body structure and their clothes what was left of it anyway then a boom sound and heard an explosion and the alarm snails began to ring like crazy an attack on The Holy Land Mary Geoise .
A fishmen with the name of fisher tiger i recognized him from some wanted posters as he is the captain of the sun pirates and was previously a slave it wasn't my first time seeing a fishmen as they have some enslaved here as well but my first time interacting with one i walked back to our shack in a hurry and there was someone beating my so-called master a red skin man with holding a fork and at his back a firearm that i don't recognize he turned to me and also the scummy nobel in his hand shouted at me why are you standing there you lowly human come and save me or do you want to be whipped again .
A 4 years old boy with a slave collar with a lot of bandages and bruises appeared in the sight of the fishmen holding the noble by the neck he then asked the kid is this your master and he nodded then he just pulled the firearm from his back then pointed it at the noble while asking him about the collar keys and he gave it to him then boom the noble in his hand was shoot in the face and another explosion occurred he then freed me of the collar and the chains in my hand .
Thank you for your help but could you save my family as well please i kneeled in front of him and asked while kneeling .
I will try to set as much as i can and in half an hour or so i will come back here if they aren't here sorry but you will have to deal with it kid .
As he walked off i began to feel the taste of freedom for the first time in my life no ticking bomb on my head i can move my hands in any way i liked i really wish my family was here right now i looked at the noble now have a black head and began to check his pocket and found a pistol strapped to his belt i took it and i know how it works i saw the scum killing people with it i felt the weight of the gun in my hands and looked at the severe injured but still breathing celestial dragon his kind enslaved us for an incident that happened to their tributes can't i just do what they did to other mercilessly i have the means now after all .
After contemplating i dropped the gun i will just wait for my family hastily return a few minutes later only Koala came back she looked at me or at my neck as she also noticed the noble unconscious state i briefed her on what happened and removed her collar as well and after that came Fisher Tiger voice if my family is now ready and i watched behind him were dozens of both familiar and unfamiliar faces but no trace of my parents i know they would hate me for this but i moved to Fisher Tiger and tried to get his attention and told him to take Koala as i'm not leaving without my parents and he stared at me with wide eyes and said something about if i stayed here after all of this i'm already doomed i thanked him for his concern and again asked if he could just go already as time in these situations is really tight .
He began leading the other slaves and looked back at me and nodded then took Koala in his hand while she tried to move away from him he chopped at her neck and she fell asleep but i did bid her goodbyes before she lost consciousness .
As i kept looking at the rows upon rows of people escaping while having different emotions some is happy some is sad and some is just confused about what is happening but most of them still believe in one thing whatever is going on is better than staying in this place and i know that as well but i can't leave my parents and escape I just can't luckily they Koala can reach her mother safely .
My mom and dad came home and i already put my chains and collar back but didn't return the keys to the pocket of the noble still lying on the ground they told me that they heard the sirens and wanted to come back immediately but was used as meat shields but the nearby celestial dragons and asked if i knew Koala whereabouts and i said i saw her leaving with the other escaped slaves and told them about coming back to find the master lying on the ground to clear their confusion my dad began to look for a guard and the help came right away for only the celestial dragons ofcourse.
In my 5th year i was sold to a noble that liked to make weird experiments by using a team of some mad scientist my previous master was asked about the keys but wasn't sure where he left them but my new master said they won't be needed anyway and i got chills from his reply , i kept seeing my father and mother on the road but all of a sudden i can't even see them anymore i hope nothing bad had happened to them .
My 6th year was spent being a lab rat but luckily i wasn't the only one but unluckily most of the other lab rats began to fall one after another yet , I again didn't have any ability to contact my parents , unfortunately I was found to be a universal blood donor by some accident happening to another lab rat the doctors at the underground lab in that celestial dragon mansion and it only got weirder from here i was connected to a bunch of blood sucking needles and was considered a new resource for that greedy celestial dragon .
7th year i spent the last year in comas from time to time , i don't feel a thing my hair became white it was originally black colored like but it became white now and there was no mirror to check so my reflection on the metal needles and the mad scientist glasses and from time to time even that greedy celestial came to see if i'm still alive he even bought two kids an ugly teen boy and a haughty young girl with him to watch me like i'm some kind of a wonder to behold they were Charlos and Shalria .
I could tolerate Shalria but that boy Charlos if i wasn't strapped to the lab bed beneath me i would kill him a thousand times as he kept pulling my needles and change their places over and over and asking if i like them or not if i liked them he will move them again and if i'm not then he will still change their places the pain was driving me mad as he even ordered those at the lab to not give me any kind of anesthetic drug the scummy nobels of the world what a sick world this is Shalria told her brother to stop as to not break the last one of a kind specimen in their father's collection .
I got to know their father name as the scientist kept on calling him saint Rosward he was the man responsible for the pain i'm in his talks with the scientists in here kept becoming longer and longer and i can almost feel like they were arguing about something that irritates the saint .

So his parents was a bad investment you didn't find anything in their blood?
No they are normal people venerablesaint Rosward our best guess would be that he might be a devil fruit user but it's just a guess for now as with his weak condition we can't do the necessary experiment to make sure.
My growing businesses had caught the eyes of many important people doctor so if he really a fruit user it's okey to let them in too but if he wasn't then i will fight to keep him here so we need to make sure of what he is .
The only method that i can think of right now is to let him eat another devil fruit , venerable do you still have that thing you bought from venerable saint Marcus mars ?

Scene change and the POV end :
What now i was beginning to forget the pain and was going to rest but the lights above me turned on and forced me to open my eyes one of the lab scientist appeared in front of me holding what looked like a weird fruit the size of his hand but the weird part about it was its colours and the weird markings on its surface .
Definitely a devil fruit the enslaved pirates kept saying the still sane ones at least if not for the the sea prism stone they would have been able to kill all of the celestial dragons but they always said it is a one colored like fruit but the one in front of me consist of two a strange rounded fruit colored in half blue half purple like i then heard the doctor saying you really didn't eat something like that before which i nodded weekly and he gave a signal and all the needles injected into my body was removed at once i felt my eyes goes blurry for a minute or two then woke up and start screaming from the pain when i finally stopped he put the fruit into my mouth food real food after many days i bite the fruit eagerly but then it happened the worst taste i had ever had hit me and i didn't even managed to taste that many kinds of food then after a second came a shockwave like from inside my body the first change appeared on my eyes i was able to see everything in red as if it's on fire i began to panic and in my panicking i asked what is happening to me .
He gave a disgusting smile and said luckily you didn't die but you are even more of a masterpiece now tell me what symptoms you are having symptoms what was that i barley able to read i looked at him and he coughed and said tell me what you feel .
I felt good actually no more pain from the needles and as i willed in panic my vision returned to normal but the lights aren't bothering me as before but i still felt weak for some reason .
I told the doctor that my vision increased and that was it oh yeah so it only gave you one of the two after all i would call it a great success for a defective product and i asked what's it exactly .
You see what you just ate is an artificial mix between a Zoan type devil fruit Hito Hito no mi ,Model: Mantis Shrimp and Paramecia type devil fruit Moa Moa no Mi .
