"Wow—"
Amid the wreckage of the Burke-class destroyer, most of the human crew, severely injured by the sonic pulses, had lost the ability to move.
They could only watch in despair as their bodies slowly sank beneath the waves.
The few who could still move didn't stop to help the others.
Panic took over—they fled, desperate to survive.
Brooks and Lin Shan, also tossed into the sea, were paralyzed with terror.
The thought of clearing out and killing Miraluz was long gone.
They just wanted to get as far away from that terrifying dragon as possible.
"Ahhhhh!!"
A sudden, blood-curdling scream pierced the air.
Not far off, one of the fleeing crew members was yanked beneath the water.
It was Colonel Foster, the captain of Team G.
Brooks and Lin Shan turned just in time to see her dragged down by something unseen.
Blood surged up, staining the water a deep red.
They froze. Pale and trembling.
There was something in the water. A monster. Where was it? Who would it take next?
The fear of the unknown consumed them, pulling them into full-blown panic.
They cracked under the weight of it.
Had they known this would happen, they would've never come to Isla Nublar—a place marked off-limits to humans.
The psychological trauma this island inflicted was far worse than anything they'd experienced on Skull Island.
Boom—
The water exploded. A massive Mosasaur—over 40 meters long—erupted from the sea, jaws wide. In an instant, it swallowed Brooks and Lin Shan whole.
Then, as if it were nothing, the Mosasaur slipped back beneath the surface and turned its attention to the next target.
No one knows how long it took for the waters around Isla Nublar to grow quiet again.
Above the waves, not a single human remained—only the drifting wreckage of the destroyer.
Satisfied and full, the Mosasaur let out a low burp, then reluctantly followed Jack toward the island.
Not just the Mosasaur—every dinosaur on Isla Nublar had done their part.
The invading human forces had been completely wiped out, leaving behind only twisted scrap metal on the battlefield.
This was the first battle of the Jurassic Alliance.
And their first strike against humankind.

Bravo Castle, Bermuda — Headquarters of the Monarch Organization
After the Burke-class destroyer led by Brooks and Lin Shan suddenly lost contact, members of Monarch—like Serizawa Ichiro—watched through satellite surveillance as the entire warship was destroyed and its crew devoured.
The horrifying footage sent chills down their spines.
What kind of terrifying creature was Miraluz—this man-made monster?
Under his rule, the ordinary dinosaurs on Isla Nublar had mutated one by one.
He had laid a deadly trap long in advance, patiently waiting for humans to walk right into it.
His unnatural abilities, coupled with his strategic thinking—on par with human intelligence—were something they had never seen before.
"His danger level is undoubtedly S-class—comparable to Caesar, leader of the apes, and the Taotie King," Ichiro Serizawa said grimly.
His earlier sense of dread had proven accurate: Miraluz was far more dangerous than anyone had assumed.
Until now, the only creatures classified as S-level threats by Monarch were:
The San Francisco Ape Tribe, origin of the simian flu.
The Taotie species along the Great Wall, whose population growth was exponential.
Other threats, like the three Rampage beasts and the Megalodon swarms, were rated A-level at most.
But now, the list of S-class threats had officially grown—Miraluz, the Dinosaur King of Isla Nublar, and his mutated dinosaur legion had joined the ranks.
A monster of this caliber was beyond Monarch's ability to handle.
They needed the military strength of a global power.
Their only option was to request aid from their superior authority—America.
However, America was already overwhelmed by the simian flu epidemic.
Death tolls were soaring. Social order was breaking down.
The nation was in crisis, gripped by fear.
Now, asking them to divert forces to confront Miraluz and the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar?
There was little chance of that happening anytime soon.

Isla Nublar
Although the dinosaurs had won their first battle against humans, the victory was largely due to their home-field advantage.
Jack remained cautious.
This was far from the full might of human military power.
Beyond destroyers, there were aircraft carriers—and even aerospace warships.
Beyond supersonic missiles, there were nuclear weapons.
If humanity ever decided to unleash its full arsenal against him and the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar, their survival would be in serious jeopardy.
And then there was Godzilla—the ancient guardian of the Earth, a force of nature whose sole mission was to maintain ecological balance.
If Godzilla were to awaken, Jack knew he wouldn't be a match for it. Not yet.
That's why his top priority was simple: Grow stronger.
Only by evolving into a Titan-class monster could he rise above humanity's reach—and one day, challenge this big brother face-to-face.
Growth. Evolution. Power.
Jack needed time. And more gene points.
"I'm leaving Isla Nublar in your hands," Jack said.
He issued the order to the Jurassic Alliance and temporarily passed command to Gray.
All dinosaurs were to follow her lead in his absence.
The humans had suffered heavy losses and were unlikely to launch another attack anytime soon.
For now, Isla Nublar was safe.
Jack's journey this time would take him across the vast Pacific Ocean.
His goal: to find and fuse with more powerful animal genes, gather additional gene points, and explore the possibility of life-level evolution.
"Roar~~"
When Gray learned that Jack was leaving, she couldn't help but feel reluctant.
She had always been by her elder brother's side since birth, following him no matter what.
Now, with him suddenly departing, a wave of discomfort and sadness welled up inside her.
"Gray, you've grown up now," Jack called out to her, his voice firm yet warm.
"You must learn to be independent. You can't rely on me forever. Believe in yourself—your potential surpasses any other dinosaur's."
Though Gray was physically large, mentally she was still less than a year old—still a child in many ways, not yet mature.
Jack knew he wouldn't be able to guide her every step of the way in the days ahead.
She would have to learn to grow on her own.
Fortunately, Gray was highly intelligent.
As a genetically enhanced Indominus Rex, she had more animal genes fused into her body than most, and her cognitive abilities far surpassed those of other dinosaurs.
She understood exactly what Jack meant.
"Roar!"
Gray gave a firm nod. She said nothing more, but raised her head toward him.
Jack leaned down, pressing his forehead against hers.
For a long moment, they stood still, sharing warmth, strength, and unspoken trust.
Then, with their goodbye complete, Jack spread his massive silver-white wings.
His majestic dragon form launched skyward with a powerful beat, rocketing through the air like a streak of lightning.
In mere moments, he had vanished from Gray's sight.
"Hoohoho—!"
Gray and the rest of the Jurassic Alliance watched in silence for a moment—then lifted their heads and let out a unified roar that echoed across the island like a tidal wave.
A farewell to their king.
