Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Jedi Genius

Jayden returned to his room after getting a possible timeline of the galaxy he was in.

With Padme Amidala still known as a young leader and not queen, there are still more than ten years for the Clone Wars to start. Adding the two to three years before they end, and the fact that she has yet to be queen, gives him a minimum of 12 years to a maximum of 14 or 15 years. That depends on when she ascends as the queen.

Jayden has no classes for the day. So, he can spend the day as he likes.

Normally, a ten-year-old like him would still be training and learning new things, but Jayden was a genius by birth.

Jayden was brought when he was four years old. When the temple tested him, they found that his midichlorian density was 15,000.

This may not be as high as what the chosen one would have in the future, but this number is close to the number of midichlorians that Yoda has, which was around 17 to 18 thousand.

With that much concentration, the meditation came easily for him. He can easily touch the Force.

Only this didn't make him a genius. It was because he learned Form I to Form VI of Lightsaber duelling. The only one that he never learned was Vaapad, Form VII, which was only known to a few.

The reason was that it was known to touch Darkside.

Jayden was in no rush to learn Form VII anyway. He improved his other forms, defeating even some padawans in a duel.

In addition to that, he was also good at programming and engineering. Though he has yet to build anything, he has repaired many droids that serve the temple.

In this galaxy, there are very few places where droids are absent, and in the Jedi Temple, there are a lot of them, though they belong mostly to two categories, Medical and Cleaner droids.

In the six years that he was at the temple, he showed the temple that he was good and showed no signs of going outside the Jedi doctrine, dictated by the Jedi Council.

How could he?

Though he reincarnated, he didn't have the memories of his past life to see the faults of the Jedi order.

Things have to evolve with time, but the Jedi Order devolved as time went on, and that was not something that a ten-year-old child could see clearly, especially when he has the perk of communicating with his family whenever he wants to.

He didn't see, or his little mind couldn't grasp well how things were going on around him.

This was because he came from a rich family of merchants. They have a lot of influence, and a huge donation to the Jedi Temple made it possible for him to have access to constant communication.

Jayden couldn't help but lament about those moments because he couldn't understand much back then.

A few of the younglings were envious of his talents, but mainly because he could speak with his family. Not everyone enjoyed such luxury.

"In Star Wars Rebels Anime, Kanan tells Ezra that he didn't know who his parents were, but that was because he most likely came from a poor family. If everyone has no idea where they came from, then Dooku wouldn't have become the Count of his home planet", Jayden felt how sad that even the Jedi became money-oriented, but he can't blame them.

To feed the members of the temple and for other expenses, the Temple needs income, and donations from rich families are one way to achieve that.

Even though the younglings were envious, Jayden never looked down on them. He helped them whenever he could, which made it difficult for the other younglings to actually hate him. The negative feelings regarding him stopped at being envious of his achievements, especially after what happened two days ago.

---

Jayden, being as genius as he is, has already passed his trials. Now, the only thing that remained to formally turn him into a Padawan was a master taking him as his disciple.

The council has informed him that they selected someone, but his supposed master was off-world on a mission, and it would take some time for his master to return.

Until his master arrived, he was given free rein to do whatever he wanted to, as long as he didn't cause any disruptions.

This free time, he decided to use it as a preparation time, not for how to greet his master or how to get the most from him or her, but for the impending crisis that was on its way to consume the galaxy.

As he was thinking about all that had happened in the years he was at the temple, he reached his room.

As a youngling, he has to share his room with other younglings, but they are all away for their training. So, when he woke up late, no one bothered him, as he was free from those sessions, unlike them.

They would return at noon after lunch. Until then, he would have a lot of privacy. He can use the privacy to make a plan for the future. Though he can't make a plan for the years to come, as things would change and what he wanted to achieve might not always be possible.

Even though he has memories of what would happen, the films, anime or comics only show the main characters and not the entire galaxy. A small change can cause a huge ripple, and everything he knew might change.

"So, those memories are just useful to make a broad plan. The minutes details has to be planned after collecting the data of what's happening in the galaxy, and so for now, I need to just make a basic plan before others come from lunch", Jayden muttered

"Speaking of lunch, I forgot to eat breakfast with everything that was going on in my mind. Chef Lekku wouldn't be happy with that", he muttered to himself.

Chef Lekku was a Twilek male who was one of the chefs who worked in the kitchens at the temple. There are cooking droids that take care of most work, but he was in charge of the food for the younglings, as droids would only work according to their protocols.

They won't care if a youngling missed their food, but that would damage the growth of the child. So, Chef Lekku, who can understand those things, was in charge of them, to make sure that the younglings eat to their fill.

"I need to find an excuse for myself when I go for lunch, but I can think of that later. First, I need to make a plan on how to proceed in the future", Jayden started to scribble the ideas that touched his mind.

Not every idea may be viable, and he has to erase or postpone some ideas, but his first goal was to think of ways to create income sources, which was very important, as it was tied to the gifts that he got from the ROB, that gave him this new life.
