Stella was too far away to hear what they were saying, but she could see the smug smile on Sylvia Byrne's face. When a man stood in front of Sylvia, Hyland Riley still tried to approach her.
Tears streamed uncontrollably down Stella's face as a sharp pain twisted her stomach, making her heart ache as well. Watching Hyland's back, she slowly sank to her knees, sweat beading on her forehead.
"Ma'am, are you okay? Someone help, there's a pregnant woman here!" A nurse's urgent cry broke through Hyland's thoughts. He turned around impatiently, but froze in shock when he saw Stella sitting on the ground.
"Stella!" Hyland rushed over, and Stella clung to his arm, her face pale and lips colorless. In a faint voice, she said, "My stomach hurts so much."
Hyland had no idea why Stella was there, but there was no time to think. He immediately picked her up and hurried to find a doctor.
