My heart dropped and my eyes narrowed at the sight of Ûtá's standing body. Even Lord Ravus froze in his tracks and glanced in Ûtá's direction.
After going through the system's messages, I had to reassess the situation—only to realize it wasn't as bad as I thought. Yes, I was in a bad situation, but it wasn't as bad as I initially thought.
Ûtá's Berserk Mode granted him a bonus of five points to all stats but also deprived him of five points in his intelligence stat, pushing it down to zero.
In essence, even a dog was smarter than this orc as we speak. The only problem was his superior speed, strength, and the healing factor.
Before now, I had watched his wounds heal at a rate visible to the eye. The injuries I inflicted on him had vanished in mere seconds. This meant we couldn't kill him.
"But I don't need to kill him," I said before slowly lowering myself once again.
I sat on the bare ground, my eyes steeled with resolve as I stared into the eyes of the furious orc.
He had a timer of three minutes, which meant I only needed to survive for three minutes and his Berserk Mode would wear off.
"I can't believe I let something this insignificant bother me." I shook my head in disappointment.
Am I rusty?
The old me wouldn't flinch even when I was surrounded by the state military in my first life. Back then, I kept a confident smile on my face as I confronted them alone, swinging to the end.
But now I panicked over what?
A mere orc who may even be an average soldier in his world.
Swoosh!
My gaze sharpened as I felt a shift, but I didn't panic. Ûtá charged forward like a rocket, covering the distance in mere seconds—but before he could reach me, a figure blocked his path, leaving behind a trail of crimson blur!
BOOM!
A powerful shockwave erupted as Ûtá rammed into Lord Ravus, forcing him back by three steps but no more than that. My hair whipped against the wind while I glared at the duo struggling against each other.
The difference between Lord Ravus and Ûtá was just two points. That advantage would have been useful if Ûtá wasn't a mindless beast now.
Regardless, it didn't matter. Even if he could gain the upper hand against Lord Ravus, it wouldn't mean much—because he wouldn't be able to do anything with that strength.
"Door." I slowly stretched out my hand and a ghastly white fog escaped my body, converging beneath the two combatants.
Ûtá didn't seem to notice as all he was interested in was ripping me apart—but he couldn't push Lord Ravus back. He snapped and growled like a wild beast—going as far as to bite Lord Ravus's shoulder.
"Hmph!" I snorted disdainfully. "Dog."
The space beneath them tore open and the duo fell in without offering any resistance. The gates closed up and vanished from sight.
Ding!

The system didn't wait till the battle was over before declaring me the victor. Apart from the experience points I received, I noticed my [Door] talent proficiency had gone up by 5%.
I had been spamming this talent so much today that I was nearly out of energy. I could only use this eleven more times and I was yet to join the battle in Louisiana.
With nothing to do, I laid down and shut my eyes while counting down in my head. Near the two-minute mark, I knew my [Blood Pact] talent had been deactivated and Lord Ravus must have returned to being just another corpse—but it didn't bother me. Within my pocket dimension, Ûtá had no way of escaping.
His Berserk skill was impressive, but it was certain such a skill came with a backlash.
Once we hit the three-minute mark, I rose to my feet and snapped my fingers. The space above tore open and two figures fell out with a loud thud!
To my surprise, Lord Ravus had returned to his stone form while holding down Ûtá—and the orc never got the chance to break free.
Currently, Ûtá looked like he was beneath Lord Ravus's crushing weight, looking deflated and fragile. This was completely different from the monster that rose from the dead just three minutes ago.

Gazing at the orc's current status, I was sincerely stunned by Ûtá's stats. After the three-minute countdown, he had fallen into a weakened state that lasts for twenty-four hours.
When he used his Berserk Mode, he gained five points to all stats, and now he was being deprived of the same number. I also noticed something about his health points.
Initially, Ûtá's health points were about a hundred and fifty, but after the Berserk skill, he gained a bonus of fifty health points—pushing it up to two hundred.
In this weakened state, not only did he lose the bonus health points, his original health points were halved as well.
"High risk, high reward," I muttered.
If I didn't have Lord Ravus with me, I would have been killed instantly by the enemy.
Slowly, I approached Ûtá with an outstretched arm. Rai'ki flew into my hand while Ûtá glared at me with disdain, but he said nothing.
Even when I stood over him, he glared with defiant eyes. He wouldn't beg for mercy—and I respected that.
I crouched and pressed Rai'ki's blade to his throat. Ûtá remained silent and shut his eyes. The orc had accepted his fate, so I didn't delay further.
In one slash, I cut his throat open. His eyes yanked open and he wanted to cover his bleeding throat—but his hands were held down by Lord Ravus.
He coughed and choked loudly, coughing up a lot of blood and suffering for thirty seconds before finally passing away.
I watched everything with a look of indifference in my eyes.
