Skip to the 18th floor, Dain looked at the clean and beautiful but eerie at the same time.
Along the way, he had cleared out every floor except for some monsters. The monsters will be respawned within some days as the dungeon forces the surviving monsters to reproduce intensely until the population reaches a stable range.
Dain looked at his status window showing the bright 53 level and 156 stat points. His strength and agility has increased by 10 points each along the way because of his Primordial Physique.
He then gave it a quick glance.

He closed the status window and looked at Gura. She had a joyous smile since this was her home floor. Coming back home really gives a pleasant feeling.
She looked around before turning to Dainsleif, "I know the area around here. If you'd like, I can guide you to our tribe."
Dain nodded and signed her to lead the way. He knew what she was plotting but wasn't really worried. With his mastery of the sword reaching the grandmaster level and his 'Fate', the weird name he gave to the sword and his stats above 50, no monster below level 50 can defeat him.
The monsters in this dungeon never reached above level 40. There was never a chance he would lose to anyone in this dungeon.
He followed the Goblin Girl to the Goblin Race territory. The Goblin territory was like a typical tribal territory within a large open space that spanned around 4 km in diameter. Separate settlements were very far away as Dain could only see their distant small shadows.
Gura was ahead of him leading him to a particular goblin settlement. Dain noticed two green figures rushing towards them.
The two shadows got close as if to attack, but seeing Gura they stopped and she also rushed towards them. They whispered about something that terrified them for some reason. Dain can guess as the two green skinned things looked at him with a horrified look.
They bowed their heads to Gura and quickly left towards two different directions. Dain was disgusted to see these creatures.
His disgust for them stems from his experience in his previous life. In the previous life, the underworld attacked the Kaiser Empire from this very dungeon and the one who led the countless monsters were none other than these very goblins.
The casualties were huge and many soldiers and innocent people died. After they cleared them and explored the deepest part of the dungeon, they found an open portal to the underworld where many high level demons came out of.
It was clear that the monsters with no intelligence couldn't collect the large resources needed for the portal. The goblins could be the only monsters that opened the portal.
Gura waved for him to follow and he followed. They soon entered the tribe with all the humanoid goblins looking at him with weariness. They were scared to see their tribe chief's daughter being humble to a mere human.
Dain followed Gura to the biggest hut in the settlement that was obviously the hut of the tribe Chief.
They entered the hut to see a large hall with a high seat and eight seats below in the majestic manner. The inside of the hut was colorful and beautiful unlike the lesser goblins on the eighth floor. The tribe chief sat on the high seat while eight elders of the tribe sat below.
Dainsleif looked around to see the terrified faces of the elders. The chief also had a similar look as the golden crown with five emerald crystals came into his view.
The crown of the Goblin King, the incomplete frame that was lost with the destruction of the sixth tribe has now appeared in the hands of this human. It wouldn't matter only if it didn't have five of the crystals embedded on it.
It was clear that this human has killed the heirs of all the tribes. He guessed that his daughter survived because she surrendered the treasure to him before he could kill her. He wasn't upset about the lost treasure because at least his daughter was saved, but he was dreading the consequences this human might bring.
The stories he heard about the goblin king terrifies him. Everyone knew, there was a reason why the goblin king divided the Crown into six different parts. He had warned them before his passing to never assemble the crown or it would destroy the goblins in this dungeon.
It was no wonder he was scared. He signaled to someone and a male goblin brought out a wooden chair and placed it beside Dainsleif.
Dain glanced at it and looked at Gura who had already walked ahead to stand by the chief. He stayed silent and sat down calmly.
"So… Mr. Human. May I know the reason why you killed the scions of our goblin race?" The chief said in a deep voice.
He was a muscular man with a perfectly defined body, 6.5 feet tall with two large fangs at the corners of his lips. His face was fierce with short black hair that gave him an intimidating look.
Dainsleif was completely at ease with no hint of worry showing on his face. He glanced at everyone in the hall and as if to talk about the passing weather he said,
"So what? I would've killed her as well only if she wasn't so beautiful. I didn't want to ruin a perfect gift for someone, so she is still standing here."
The crowd who had a weary expression just a second ago had their brows furrowed and expression shifted to that anger.
To be continued…
