"MOOOOOOO!!!!!"
A large bull headed monster as it fell to one knee, gripping at the left side of his stomach in agony as blood began pour from the wound.
It looked up, eyes blood red in rage, but saw nothing as it frantically looked around to find the enemy that killed its brethren in a Monster Party.
A Monster Party, it is called that due to the fact that the Dungeon, which is alive by the way, hates humans and gods who enter its depths and if it see someone easily moving through it with no resistance to any monster in their path then there is a chance, that grows higher by the amount of monsters you kill, to spawn in a Monster Party.
Where the walls in one room crack open to unleash a large group of monsters, this usually is considered a death trap for single adventurers and even for small adventurer party's at that.
However for a Warframe, a biomechanical suit made from a virus that consumed the original person and made them into their warframes and thus losing their original personality's for the most part, are built for War, it's why they were given those names after all.
And Warframes are built to fight large swathes of enemies that use high tech weapons and especially guns, however against these monsters they are to weak to be a challenge for my already maxed ranked Excalibur, even if I have no mods installed.
These Minotaurs, that I found here after reaching floor 15 much to Finn's Surprise, were the first monsters where I was actually forced to use one of Excaliburs abilities, Radial Blind, which completely blinded the group of over 40 Minotaurs all at once.
Then I used Sword Dash to close the distance between me and my enemies while finally unsheathing my Exalted Blade in order to deal Lethal damage in one to two strikes for these level 2 monsters that were roughly the equivalent of level 110 to 150 enemies back in the world of Warframe.
Enemies that I realized I couldn't do any real meaningful damage with just my weapons alone, well without any mods to them that is, and as such as I am now floor 15 was to be my stopping point.
With a quick slash of my blade I decapitated the last Minotuar leaving the floor covered in copious amounts of blood with many headless or cut in half at the waist or cut diagonally from their shoulder and out the other side of their abdomen.
I put away my Exalted Blade before turning to Finn, who had been following from a distance while only killing any enemies that tried to kill him with his spear, but most went for me in these past few hours that we blitzed on down into the dungeon to where we were now.
"Well, I think it's time we call it for a day." I say before I go over to the dead Minotuar as my Parazon, a hidden blade/hacking tool that all Warframes have, slipped into my hand before I began to cut off the horns of the Minotaur before skinning him for his hide.
"Really? But you've barely used up your power this entire time, I almost thought you would go down to where the Goliath spawns at, though unfortunately it won't spawn again for about a week but the Hera Familia already claimed its next spawning." Finn went onto explain.
"Really? They can just lay claim to killing Monster Rex's like that?" I say while I keep harvesting the materials and magic stones from the dead Minotaurs.
"What can you do? The Zeus and Hera Familias are the leading Familias here in Orario, if they say they are taking it then it's just best to let them take it." Finn said with a sigh, even though the Loki Famila was now considered a Top Familia, they were leagues behind both Zeus and Hera and had no choice but to comply.
"Besides that, the Hera Famila has a girl no more than 11 years old who only became an adventurer a little over a year ago who seems ready to level up, but she needs a major feat in order to achieve that, and thus she is to take out Goliath herself, she's bound to break the record for the fastest level up from level 1 to level 2 in Orario's history and is seen as a major figure of the next Generation of the Hera Famila." Finn said while I kept ripping apart the Minotaurs and gathering their materials before taking their stones as their bodies turned to dust.
"Oh yeah? Does this girl have a name?" I couldn't help but ask as I finished up my harvest of monster parts and magic stones.
"Her name is Alifa, a rather skilled mage who uses sound based magic." He said making me think of one Warframe that uses sound like a weapon.
"Well, I think she won't be able to keep that record for long." I say as I walk towards Finn before passing him by as he turned to look at me with a Raised brow.
"What? Are you saying your going to level up soon or something? You just became an Adventurer yesterday!" Finn couldn't help but say as he walked up beside me.
But I just wave my finger, "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, Oh how little faith you have in me Finn, even though my Warframe is the one doing all the fighting, I'm still the one piloting it and during this entire time with every kill I made I could physically feel the Excelia filling my Falna personally, now tell me, can a level 1 adventurer with all of his stats at 0 kill 40 Minotaurs all on his own?" I ask him seriously.
"…. No, fighting a Minotaur right after becoming an adventurer would be a death sentence…. So…. Well…." Finn said before he couldn't really say anything about the situation at all.
While using a Warframe is 'cheating' in a sense since all the levels up until now every monster I fought was not a threat, to the Falna that was on my body back at the manor didn't know that.
While in transference my consciousness was inside my Warframe and thus it was tricking the Excelia I would gain and Falna within my body making it assume that I was there personally and fighting these battles myself and doing what is considered and completely impossible to do.
As such that I was doing what this world considered 'impossible' the amount of Excelia I had gain from this dungeon dive was immense that I felt my body physically changing the entire time, however this wouldn't be finalized until my status was updated with Loki.
"So like I said, when we get back and I get my status checked by Loki, don't be too surprised with how high my stats have increased from this, but what's more important is all the loot we gained in this dungeon run, as I have most if not all the monster parts I need for several different Warframes and powerful weapons at that!" I said excitedly.
Finn however gave me a questioning look with a raised brow as he side eyed me, "Your more interested in materials you've gained than your stats increasing?" Which to him was weird as for adventurers increasing stats and leveling up is everything before everything else.
But I just shake my head before pulling out my Ballistica and shooting a bolt between the eyes of a Hellhound as I looted it for its parts once more, "Leveling up I guess you can say is something that was similar to my world, though your world has lower levels but equate to higher levels in my world, but anyway in my world it didn't really take that long for one to level up as long as they fought stronger enemies, leveling isn't as important to me compared to the creation of better warframes and weapons as well as mods making fighting stronger and more deadly enemies easier as a result, the sooner I can make stronger weapons, Warframes and mods, the easier it will be for me to dive deeper and deeper into the floors below." I said laying out the truth to him.
To me there is only four major things I would ever need to do in this world and see what they truely are, being able to Complete the three great feats of this world and reaching the bottom of the dungeon.
However I have a feeling that I won't be completely detached from the universe of Warframe forever.
But it was time to go home and see what stats I have gained in my first ever dungeon dive.
