The fluttering sounds filled the sky with noise. One after another, Holvern come out of the dark cloud vortex, their roars shake the sky. The scene makes everyone wonder just how dark the Dark Ages were.
When the students aren't sure what to do, Laurence raises her right hand. She stretched her hand upward, reaching those Holvern flying above their heads. And then, she cupped her fist, gesturing as if catching a fly with her hand.
The effect was unbelievably fantastic.
In an instant, as if there's a blackhole opened in the sky, the dark cloud, along with every single one of the Holverns, were being sucked in and disappeared from the sky. Moments ago, the sky looked like it was about to crumble down, and now, the sky looks as clear as it used to be. Not just the students, even some Professors were gaped at the sight.
Laurence remains nonchalant. She brought her right cupped hand forward to the students' front. She opened her hands, showing them what's inside.
"What is that?" One student muttered in confusion.
"Unbelievable, a pocket dimension?" While another student seems to know something about what Laurence has inside her hand.
What was inside Laurence's hand was a sphere, a black, spherical thing. Laurence brought the sphere right in front of her eyes and explained to the students.
"This is my pocket dimension. I have sealed these Holverns inside, and so you shall. The first challenge was to slay these corrupted monsters inside this pocket dimension."
'This year's Spring Seven Challenges was special,' of course it was. Three years ago, the challenges were just about doing some missions to seek some rare magical ingredients and slaying some strong monsters, or going through dangerous places.
But this year, their opponents were the Holverns from the shadow continent, Yagnunil.
Could mere students like them stand against those corrupted beings?
"Wooooaaahh!! For Champion!" One student raised his sword and shouted in excitement.
""FOR CHAMPION!!!"" Others followed after him.
... They can. Because they weren't mere student, but the students of the Academy.
A smile appeared on Laurence's youthful face.
She exchanged glances with other Professors and nodded. They aimed their hands towards the sphere in Laurence's hand and began to prepare the spell to transport these students without harming them in any way possible during the time they would spend while being transferred to the pocket dimension.
One after another, runic alphabets and circles covered the sphere as the professor mustered their skills on magic to perfect the Anti-Spacial spell. As for the Professors specialized in close-combat... Well, they could only watch in awe and reverence.
After about 30 minutes, the spell was completed. Laurence could now transport these students to the pocket dimension without harming them.
She shifted her attention back to the students' faces, seeing their grinning and nervous faces.
"Are you ready, my students?" She asked.
The students' answers have been set before even being asked by her.
""Yes, ma'am!""
Laurence nodded in approval towards their resolve. Ah, will I see a new era of Tatius, under these kids' hands? Laurence thought and expected as she shut her eyes.
"Then may victory be your fate, my students," She prayed for them before activating the transporting spell.
A massive magic circle glowed under the students' feet. Loryarc looked at the sheer complexity of the circle and couldn't help but realize how powerful a woman their Principal was.
His passive skill, Sensitive Sense(C), could feel that this circle was powered solely by Laurence herself, different from the Anti-Spacial spell that needed the Professors' help.
Teleporting thousands of people... How great was that feat in the face of this world? As Loryarc pondered things, his surroundings had been engulfed in white.
At that moment, he felt a touch on his right hand. He turned to his right side only to see Rina grabbing his hand. Her cheeks reddened a bit, but she smiled with a raised fist at her chest.
"Let's do our best, Mister Loryarc!" She stated.
Loryarc smiled and nodded.
"Yeah!" He agreed.

At the dimension of sky-piercing trees and red thunders, the roars of Holverns vibrate through the air.
Those monsters were confused and had no idea why they appeared in such a forsaken place instead of the sky of the Lizarck Kingdom.
But they didn't have time to think about the mysteries behind their sudden change of location.
They shrieked towards the crimson sky as they felt the intense amount of mana from there. Then, at the next moment, these monsters' enemies have come.
Thousands of light pillars fell from the sky to every corner of the dimension. Some fell into a valley, while others got stuck in the branches of the trees, and even some sank into a lake in the center of the place.
Among the light pillars, two pillars fell to a cliff near a deep valley. From the pillars, a muscular man and a golden-haired woman appeared.
The man checked his surroundings and whistled at the red thunder, which covered the entire sky with noise and deafening sounds of volts.
"I'll be free after I beat that guy, right?" He asked the woman smiling beside him, and received a nod from her.
He clashed his fists together in excitement, producing a sound of clashing metals instead of the organic sounds of skins facing each other.
