The students slowly began to surround Yuki and his group, gripping makeshift weapons—bats, pipes, anything they could scrounge up. Their hands were shaking, their eyes filled with fear... but they still thought they had a chance.
Then came the surprise.
Kōta Hirano stepped forward. Just like in the original story, he'd somehow turned a nail gun into a weapon. He pointed it right at Yuki, his hands trembling.
Saeko stepped ahead of the others. Her fingers tightened around the wooden handle of her bokken, her body low, poised to strike. Her voice was cold, dangerous.
'Just give me a reason.'
Yuki, unfazed, just let out a sigh.
"So that's how it is? Fine. If that's your decision… then you can all stay right here. Forever."
His eyes swept across the crowd, stopping for a second on Kōta Komuro—the so-called "main character" of this world.
What a joke.
This Komuro wasn't like the one from the story. His childhood friend, Rei, didn't love him—she could barely stand him. And instead of rising up and leading people, he had latched onto Shido Koichi like a parasite, just trying to survive in someone else's shadow.
Pathetic.
But Yuki didn't care about Komuro's broken pride. All that interested him was one question:
How many points do I get if I kill the protagonist?
Komuro shouted in a panicked voice, his confidence cracking, "Rei! Get away from him! Staying with Shido-sensei is the only way we survive!"
Rei Miyamoto's expression turned to stone.
Even before everything fell apart, she'd barely tolerated Komuro. Now? She outright hated him.
Without saying a word, she stepped up beside Yuki and wrapped herself around his arm. Her chest pressed tight against him, her cheek resting lightly against his shoulder. Her eyes narrowed in a bold glare as she looked straight at Komuro.
"Yuki-kun, don't waste time with these fools. Let's just go."
The way she clung to Yuki left absolutely no room for confusion. She'd chosen her side—and it wasn't with Komuro.
Komuro snapped.
His face turned red with fury as he screamed, "YOU—! LET—GO—OF—HIM!!"
He charged forward with a bat raised—screaming like a lunatic.
Then his foot caught on absolutely nothing.
WHAM.
Face, meet concrete.
CRACK.
Teeth sprayed out like white gravel. His face smashed hard against the ground, and the world went black around the edges.
The students stood in stunned silence.
Did… did he just trip on air?
Before anyone could react, Hirano panicked. He squeezed the trigger on his nail gun—
PFFT!
A nail shot out… and then twisted in mid-air like it had a mind of its own.
It flew right back at him.
SPLAT.
It buried itself deep into Hirano's right eye.
"GYAAAAAAAAH!!"
He dropped the gun and collapsed, howling in agony as blood spilled down his face. He kicked and writhed on the floor, screaming so loud the walls shook.
The rest of the students froze, suddenly too scared to breathe.
Nails don't turn mid-air. Once could be a freak accident. But twice?
This wasn't normal.
This wasn't human.
Their weapons slipped from their trembling fingers and clattered to the pavement. They backed away slowly, wide-eyed and pale.
Yuki gave them a sly, knowing smile.
"Smart choice."
With a flick of his coat, he turned and led his group away, striding right past the terrified students.
Behind them, Shido and his followers were left speechless, watching Yuki vanish down the road like a ghost.
Only once he was gone did they dare move.
"Shido-sensei!! Are you okay?!"
Shido grit his teeth through the pain in his shattered knees. Blood soaked his slacks, but he still forced a shaky smile.
"I'm fine… Help me stand."
His pride—more than anything—was what kept him from crying in front of his students.
"Komuro-kun! Hirano-kun!"
He called out to them with his best fatherly tone, despite the sweat pouring down his face.
"Just hold on! Once we reach the evacuation site, I'll have my father arrange only the best doctors for you."
His words were like honey, carefully crafted. And like fools, Komuro and Hirano bought every word. Despite the pain, hope returned to their faces.
But that hope didn't last long.
"S-Sensei…! The bus—it's gone!"
One of the students screamed.
Everyone turned toward where the school bus had been.
Now? It was gone. Nothing but empty street.
Then came the sounds—
Groans… snarls… the dragging of feet.
The Undead had arrived.
Drawn by all the chaos and screaming, the horde was here—and they weren't giving any room to escape.
"We—we're trapped!"
Shido went pale. The students were shaking, gripping their pipes and bats again, but there was no strength behind it.
This wasn't a coincidence.
This was Yuki's parting gift.
A beautiful little send-off… wrapped in horror.
With Yuki's Group
The battle had been vicious, but with Yuki behind her, Saeko hadn't held anything back. Her bokken flashed through the air as she moved like a dancer of death, her strikes efficient and brutal.
Her bloodlust—held back for so many years—finally had a stage to shine.
But she was still human.
Even she had limits.
Her breathing became heavy, her grip slipping slightly.
Then, as if effortlessly, Yuki floated upward into the air.
The girls below could only watch, wide-eyed, as he lifted his hand.
"Let me show you a little fireworks display," he said casually.
A beam of pure light shot from his fingertip.
It soared into the sky toward a far-off city district—
BOOM.
The explosion was unbelievable.
It wasn't just a blast—it was a detonation that wiped away buildings, streets, even part of the ocean. The skyline turned to white-hot fire before collapsing into nothing.
All of it... just gone.

The system chat lit up instantly:
Raiden Ai: "Congrats, Souji-chan! That was insane!"
Seitenshi: "So jealous! 20k points and a draw too?!"
Huaizhu: "Jealous +1."
Artemis: "Spin the lottery already! I wanna see what you get!!"
Saeko: "Patience, everyone. I'll do it once we're somewhere safe. (◠‿◠)"
Saeko exhaled, feeling the tension leave her shoulders.
The mission was complete.
As for the thousands who'd just been vaporized?
Not her concern.
Yuki landed softly on the ground.
Saya Takagi was speechless. Her hands shook as she stared at the distant explosion.
"That blast… Based on the radius and energy output, it was at least ten times more powerful than a missile…"
Her eyes turned to Yuki. Not with awe—with terror.
He wasn't just dangerous.
He was a walking apocalypse.
Meanwhile, Rei Miyamoto rushed to his side, brushing her hair back and putting on her sweetest smile.
"Yuki-kun, are you tired? Do you need anything? Water? Food? Me?"
Not to be outdone, Shizuka Marikawa strolled up behind him with a teasing pout.
"I can give you a massage if you want~! Special nurse service, just for you."
Their touches became bolder.
Rei's fingers traced his chest, while Shizuka leaned in close, her lips brushing his ear.
"I know other ways to help you unwind too," she whispered with a playful giggle.
The atmosphere heated quickly. But Yuki simply smirked.
More intimacy points for me.
"We're close to the place Shizuka-sensei mentioned," he said. "Let's move."
They followed him through the city until they arrived at a modern apartment complex—Shizuka's friend's place.
"Rika-chan always kept emergency supplies," Shizuka said cheerfully.
Sure enough, they found guns.
A lot of guns.
Handguns, assault rifles, even a sniper rifle tucked in the back. It wasn't exactly military-grade, but it was pretty damn close.
Everyone but Yuki stared, stunned.
Saya held up a pistol, inspecting it.
"Just what does your friend do for a living?"
Shizuka giggled. "She's in the SAT, I think? Special Assault Team?"
Saya nodded slowly. "That explains it…"
Safely inside, the group finally relaxed.
They collapsed onto the couches, turned on the TV—somehow still working—and watched the news as it painted a grim picture of a world falling apart.
But here?
In this house?
Yuki's group was safe. And for now…
The real world didn't matter.
