"You cleared it without registering. You haven't cleared any gates since your hunter card has been issued."
"And if we can't clear the gate in a day?"
Cheon Areum's upper body shifted as he faced Yoon Seoyul. Driving while only looking ahead, he spoke calmly.
"Aera will take care of Rian. She has younger siblings, so I trust her. You can rest assured."
Slumping back into the passenger seat, Cheon Areum let out a silent breath, his gaze fixed on the window. The bustling cityscape had long faded into memory, replaced by an endless stretch of green. Towering trees lined both sides of the road, their leaves swaying gently in the wind.
"You've been driving for a while now. How far is the gate?"
"It's in the middle of nowhere. It's a long drive from Seoul."
